3.5375ml bottle from Alko.
Poured mahogany red in color.
Aroma has cherries and sourness, some wood and raspberries. Sweet/sour flavors of cherries and some almondy notes. Dry sourish finish. Pretty good.
4.40.375 l bottle from Alko Ympyrätalo, Helsinki. Obviously there is taste of cherries but, strangely, some cinnamon too. Nice and a bit different to other oude krieks I have tasted.
3.537.5 cl bottle @ Koskipuisto. BBE 20.10.2020
Aroma has sourish berries and milky tones. Also some vinegar. Flavour sour berries, vinegar, vinous texture. Finishes with sweet and sour berries mixed - the sour ones are clearly winning still. Good and clean but nothing special.
3.5Bottle, thx rene! Deep red. Cherry vanilla nose, good funk, .. like a cherry lifesaver. Med bodied, sour cherry pie. Pretty intense, nice. Has a little old moldy strawberry undertone
3.3375 ml, bottled. Pours red with a white head. Aroma: Cherries, malt, biscuits. Taste: Pleasantly sour, balanced sweetness. Palate: Medium body, average carbonation.

Nice kriek, pours dar reddish, moderate sourness, still some sweetness. Ok.
3.7From a 375 ml bottle showing a 2012 fill date. Pours a clear amber. Aromas of cherries. Flavors are sour cherries.
4.0Bottle. Dark Ruby color. Cherry, yoghurt and almond in the aroma. Cherry pits. Only some sweetness from the fruit in the flavor. Cherry, yoghurt, cherry pits. Full bodied. Dry finish. Remarkably good!
3.80.375 l bottle from 'belgiuminabox.com', cellared for almost two years. Clear, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, pinkish white head. Sweetish, sourish, fairly fruity and just minimally funky aroma of cherries, bitter almond, some raspberries and a touch of oak. Medium sour, minimally sweet, very fruity and just a little funky taste of cherries, bitter almond, some raspberries, a touch of vinegar and traces of oak, followed by a medium long, quite tart, gently dry, woody finish. Medium body, smooth, quite astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice Kriek, maybe not overly refined or complex but well-balanced and highly drinkable. Definitely better than some of the Krieks from more respected breweries.
4.2Bottle from Gourmet Haus Staudt in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is musty funk, Brett, sour cherries. Taste is animal funk, tannic, sour cherries, some oak, more spicy animal funk. Really great stuff.
3.7Nice kriek. A lot of fresh sour cherry in aroma, taste is also cherries with wild berries and standard yeasts
3.7April 2018 - 375ml bottle, no cork, at home in Richmond as 'St. Louis Fond Tradition Kriek Lambic', 6.5%, brewed at Van Honsebrouck, undated but a recent bottling I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Dark brown with a purple shade, opaque with a foamy pink head. Aroma is vibrant cherry and redcurrant, cherry and blackcurrant jam, deep jammy berry fruit, little Ribena. Also has some genuine lambic funk later on - not just fruit - which improves things. Good. Body is light, a little foamy, tingly to assertive carbonation. Tooth coating over time. Gets a little abrasive on the teeth and stomach. Taste is again jammy, little strawberry-raspberry-cherry, cherry bakewell, little tart lemon. Pretty good depth of flavour. Not a top-tier kriek but a very solid one at the price. Pair it up with chocolate brownies and feel the sugar rush. I would definitely have this again, though there are better affordable krieks. 4.1Bottle shared with Dave. Gorgeous colour-- deep garnet with a thick pink head. Spicy plummy tart cherry flavour with rustic yeast and woody undertones. Fantastic.
3.6Pours a clear dark cherry red with a thin white ring. Aroma of tart cherries and some light vinegar notes. Dry tart cherry taste that gives a big pucker. Decent aftertaste. Not as much vinegar flavor as the smell indicated . Not the best but still pretty enjoyable.
3.4Bottle shared by a friend. Hazy red color, medium frothy head. Aroma of marzipan, sweet cherries and a bit of tartness. Som marzipan sweetness in taste, but also cherry tartness. Decent balance, decent beer.
3.8Pours ruby red in appearance . Cherry on the nose . Mild sour taste. Hints of wood , sweet
3.9Bottle. Vinegar, sour milk. cherry, malt, barnyard, and hay aroma. Murky reddish-brown with small head. Moderately sour vinegar, very lightly sweet cherry, malt, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Nice body and balance.
4.5Vintage ??? Daleko poza regionem Payottenland a jednak mega udane. Wspanaly aromat wisniowego babcinego, nieslodzonego kompotu. Poczatkowo. Zamienilo posilek w arcy przyjemna chwile. Wyglad to mala piana opada szybko niczym windy w nowoczesnych biurowcach. Barwa bordowo fioletowa niemal brazowa.
3.8Got this of all places at the little restaurant in the Modern Hotel in downtown Boise Idaho. From 330 ml bottle pours a clear light ruby with a pinkish head. Nose of tart cherry. Medium body. Flavor is a very tart cherry, and finishes the same. Not a lot to say here other than the fact it was good
3.7Ah, takes me back to the street cafe in Brussels where I first had this back in my pre-beer-rating days. Still good stuff.
3.0Bottle. Unclear purple color with pink head. Aroma is cherries, a touch of wood and funk. Taste is dusty cellar and wood, with muted cherry skin flavours in there. Tart and somehow dry finish. High carbonation. The "fond" is noticeable, but it’s nonetheless not on par with the greater examples of Oude Kriek.
3.8On tap at Bahnhof. Translucent red with ver small head. Aroma is tart cherry, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is rich tart cherry. Nice fruit lambic ready.
3.9Nice, not special. Dried cherries and leather, good age flavors/aromas. Pleasant in the mouth. I will enjoy the second bottle, but probably not buy again.
4.3Bottle @ home. Rossi Rubino, riflessi violacei, schiuma rosata grossolana di brevissima persistenza. Aroma abbastanza intenso, fruttato di ciliege, legno vaniglia, frutti di bosco, lampone polvere, cantina. Gusto acido, intenso, pungente, dolce zuccherino presente ma sovrastato dall acidit?. Poco nulla amara.poco corposa carbonatazione quasi nulla estremamente spigolosa ma equilibrata armonica, perfettamente in stile.
3.7Robe rubis dense, fine mousse.
