3.0 Deep purlple color with high, but quickly disappearing white head. Aroma: raspberry Taste: light sweet
3.2 Bottle. Pours deep burgundy purple. Aroma is sweet and sour raspberry. Immediate delicious tart raspberry is followed by sacharrine fruit syrup. Would be much better if they could balance it out and not be so cough syruppy.
3.8 Botella, primera vez en Siete Copas (Madrid). Color rojo sangre y espuma levemente rosada. Aroma fuertemente dulzón a frambuesa. En boca es carbonatada, con buen sabor a sirope de frambuesa, retrogusto final levemente ácido y dulzón. Muy buena, a la altura de la Lindemans.
3.1 Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours dark ruby red with a bubbly pink head. Aroma & taste: light tart, sweet syrupy raspberries, raspberry jam, candy. Medium body, foamy carb, sweet fruity finish. One dimensional sweetness but it's inoffensive
3.8 Bottle @ Kulminator, Antwerp. Cloudy dark cassis colour, foamy light pink head. Intense sweet raspberries, candy, lollipop. Big body, low carbonation.
2.3 2018 - 06 - 02 250ml bottle. dar red colour. red/creme head. red fruit, raspberry in aroma. sweet taste.
3.6 Pours dark red. Big , pink head. Raspberries jam and hint of yeasts in aroma. Sweet taste with dominating raspberries flavor.
3.5 Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep plummy red. Nose - sweet raspberries. Cordial level of concentration. Taste - more sweet raspberries with a slight sour undertang from the lambic base beer. Palate - light bodied, sweet in the middle and then dry and tangy on the finish. Overall - good.
3.6 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a lovely deep red with a generous pink-tinged head. Taste is sweet, raspberry and cherry. Sweet, light sharp finish. Good mouthfeel for the strength.
1.7 2018/03/13 - Pours clear burnt red/amber colour with a thin, light pink head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is super sweet and mildly tart raspberry, malt, hay and lemon. Taste is syrupy raspberry, light tartness, low acidity. Not good. Taste like drinking strawberry syrup.
2.4 F: thin, off-pink, quick gone. C: very dark ruby red, clear. A: thick red berries with sugar, raspberries, bit cherries, grenadine. T: sweet ascorbic raspberries, red fruits, syrupy sweet, medium to full sweet body, medium carbonation, bit lemon, this is not for my taste, not good at all, 25cl bottle from Rob The Gourmets' Market in Brussels.
3.3 A: Dark ruby with a very small, pinkish head N: Grenadine, blackberries, strawberry jam T: Quite sweet, but balanced with fruity bitterness. Very jammy. Raspberries feature in a berry medley. P: Medium O: A bit sweet for my palate, but still quite enjoable
3.1 Dobré ovocné osvěžující pivo, které více než lambik připomíná limonádu. Mně to ale nevadí, jako pochutina dobré. Ale radši mám neochucené lambiky.
4.1 375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear deep ruby red/amber/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy raspberries, cherry, plum, blackberry, red apple, red grape, fruit jam/skin/seeds, hay, grass, wheat, bread, candi sugar, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with an awesome malt/sour/tart/tangy fruit balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Touch of puckering sourness. Light-moderate increasing dryness from sour/tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and slightly slick/syrupy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 2.8%. Overall this is an outstanding sweetened fruit lambic! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Tons of authentic jammy raspberry fruit presence with balanced sweetness. Not as funky on the yeast as expected, but still highly enjoyable. A lot more acidity from the fruit, leading to a drier finish than other sweetened lambics I've had.
1.9 Aroma: Medium-high raspberries, smells like lollipops! Medium-light acidity. Appearance: Clear, pink body Small, pink head, low retention that falls to a ring. Flavour: Medium raspberries. Light bitterness, sourness. Medium-dry finish with lingering raspberry, ascorbic acid. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: The beer has nice raspberries, but lacks the acidity of the fruit and the sourness of the style. 250 ml bottle, poured. 29A. Fruit Beer 23D. Lambic.
2.9 Bottle. Raspberry, sour milk, malt, light vinegar, and musty hay aroma. Reddish brown with minimal head. Moderately sweet raspberry, malt, lightly sour vinegar/lactic acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Like the other sweetened fruit lambics.
3.2 Dégustée à l'été 2016 AU SAINT-BOCK (De mes notes). .
3.4 Bottle. Pours clear red with thin light pink head. Aroma is raspberry syrup. Taste is sweet with raspberries, candy, hint of some lambic sourness.
2.9 Not bad, you can at least say it is refreshing on a hot, humid summer day. The stevia imparts an artificial aftertaste that is not exactly pleasing. Sweet and sour elements are there as expected. Definitely not a re-buy at relatively expensive price point.
3.7 Very nice lambic, effervescent raspberry aroma, and nice carbonation really brings out raspberry flavor without being saccharine.
2.0 02-07-17 // bottle. Pours a deep red beer with a small white head. Sweet rasperry juice, like rasperry candies from my childhood. Light lambic acidity.
3.0 Gift from Miguel. From Aldi. In Teku glass. After dinner. Not unpleasant, in fact nice. But doesnt seem a beer at all, more like a medicine for kids, like a new apiretal
3.1 750ml bottle. Pours clear reddish purple with a fizzy pinkish head. Not surprisingly the aromas and flavors are predominantly raspberry. This is somehow both a little sweet and a little tart, but only a small amount of sour funkiness. Light bodied and very drinkable, if somewhat one-dimensional.
3.3 250 ml Bottle. Pours with a clear red color and a nice, pastel-purple head. On the first impression, the nose is a little arificial, but the fruity notes getting better and better. Sweet raspberries dominating the nose. Some syrupy, something acidic. Taste of sweet raspberries as well (ok, that was to assume ;-)), nice sweet-sour balance. Refreshing.
3.6 Bottle: Bronze hue, clear, light head and a little lace. Huge fruity syrup lift. Clean. Slightly synthetic raspberry profile. The palate is sweet but the acidity makes it very refreshing. They are not wrong about it being quenching. I have a serious weakness for these lambics.
4.0 Pours a dark reddish color with pink colored head. Sweet raspberries, jam-like stickiness, and some light funk on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes like a slightly sweet-tart raspberry jam.
3.5 Bomber shared. Dark red pour. Aroma is super sweet raspberry jam. Taste follows, sweet, delicious, not anything exceptional though.
2.8 Rustic red pour from bottle. Mainly fruit and sugar. Tastes like candy. Yowzas. Fairly clean and drinkable if the sour sweetness isn’t a deterrent.
