2.8Beautiful medicine bottle as always with st Peters.
clear brown, small light brown head.
nice rounded roasted malty slightly toasted slightly nutty aroma, faint spices.
flavor is malty, strange herbal bitterness. In fact the herbal bitterness grows as i drink more. The bitterness resembles an english bitter a bit.
3.7Pours a dark brown colour with a white thin head
Notes of roasted coffee and cocoa nibs
Bottle version from St. Peter’s brewery
3.550 cl. smuk oval flaske. 7,0 %.
3.3Botelski. Dark brown colour. Medium off white head. Sweet like dark malty caramel dark fruit spiced aroma. Good palate. Sweet like flavour with dark malts caramel and spiced along with darl fruits and a medium bitterness. Pleasant.
3.1Traditional ale spiced for Christmas. Light bodied and a little fizzy. Subtle aromas. A toffee base from the malt. Some orange and citrus notes and plenty of cinnamon, ginger and spiced fruit. Very drinkable.
3.2Fles 50cl thuis gedeeld. Flink caramel, wat kruidig, redelijk specerijen, licht gember, wat kaneel, sinaasappelschil, bitters, licht droog. (24-12-2019).
3.4Bottle, 1 pint. Clear reddish, minimal head. Sweet toffee and fruity aromas. Light bodied and fizzy. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Licorish malty flavors into a bitter alcohol finish. Not the most refined strong ale but rich and warming and you only need a couple to get in the mood.
Retrogusto suave y sencillo, a frutas secas. Bastante rica.
3.5some cocoa and some marzipan. a little sticky sweet yet with some hop and malt in evidence. brandy fruit and just enough alcohol for the holidays. a little caramel and a nicely aged brew.
3.5Igen erőteljes borostyán színben fürdőzik, angolos modorú, mézesen malátás, krétaporos karakterű élesztős lepelbe burkolózik. Ízjegyei teltek, árnyalatnyit datolyás, aszalványos, shortbread-es világúak, a levezetés azonban határozott, markánsan kesernyés, száraz, de kiegyensúlyozott. Természetéből adódóan valóban méltó kísérője lehet különféle ünnepi csemegéknek, én azonban egymagában fogyasztottam el a régi idők báját magán hordozó címkével rendelkező karácsonyi főzetet.
3.1On bottle.
Pours deep red-brown, with small head.
Scent: Lots of spices, sweet malts, dates and raisins.
Taste: Anise, liquorice, ginger-ish, lots of spices. Sweet.
Texture: Thin and high co2.
3.2Bottiglia.
3.4Bottle from Snape Maltings. Pours mid brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of Christmas spices, Christmas cake, dried fruit, toffee and hint of chocolate. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, rich oily texture, average carbonation,
3.9Bottle at home bought from the Old Jerusalem. A good pour and a surprisingly light colour in the glass with a minimal head. There was a lovely malt and caramel flavour that was balanced by the St Peter's bitter hops. This was rich and warming and I thought that the malt and hops were perfectly balanced. I would classify this as a double winter warmer. Lovely.
3.7Clear mahogany brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are intense with sweet malts and red fruits. Lots of fruit cake.
3.7Pours a dark red - almost brown. aromas of roasted nuts and molasses. Taste is nutty malt with and a hint of alcohol. Finish is molasses with some spicy bitterness. Nice winter beer.

Hazy light brown with little head.
Aroma is caramel, dried fruit and oaky/wood.
Very oaky/dry with malt but not much sweetness which was a real disappointment.
I think I got a dud bottle but this wasn’t great and I struggled to finish it.

3.511 Enero 2017. From elcervecero. In Ikea’s pint glass. Playing Blackwell Epiphany. Caramel with some spices. Refreshing and goes up to the gead quickly. I prefer their winter ale. Avg 3.7
2 Enero 2020. Avg 3.5
3.7Bel colore rubino limpido, schiuma poco persistente biancastra. Carbonazione bassa.
3.2helder rood/koper met beperkte geel/witte kraag. aroma van mout, caramel, zoethout, kaneel, smaken zijn redelijk kruidig, redelijk zoet, zoethout, natte bladeren, aards, kaneel, sinaasappelschil, matige body, lage co2, tja kruidig winterbier, niet mijn favoriet
3.3Beautiful clear ruby red beer with a weak white head.Smell is caramel, apples and cherries, nuts, some honey, light biscuit and christmas spices.Taste is full and fizzy, refreshing, with a bitter astringent finish, quite sharp.
3.2bottle bel ramato piuttosto limpida schiuma media discreta persistenza caramello leggero tostato frutta secca leggero liquoroso
3.7Pours a mid brown with a white head that recedes fairly fast.
Aroma of fresh wort, malts and English hops. Some orange.
Very enjoyable to drink. Medium body with the flavour lingering around nicely. Spritzy feel from the blend of alcohol and low carbonation. It’s not too malty or heavy, with the flavour of orangy and spicy hops blending nicely with some caramel notes. Somewhat fruity but no aged flavours (maybe the slightest port-like blend of sweetness and alcohol). Finishes medium-dry with some pleasant alcohol notes and mild bitterness.
Overall it’s a great, easy to drink strong ale. It doesn’t try any unnecessary pyrotechnics and the subtle flavours make you want to reach for another one.
3.9Korrekt kis vizes löttyös test, mely mögött komoly alkoholtest bújkál. Igazi karácsonyi lezsibbasztó,
