3.5 500 ml bottle from a local cheese store. Pours a jet black with hardly any head, aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, lactose; taste of chocolate, sweet lactose, vanilla and some coffee. Quite strong, oily mouthfeel and definitely enjoyable.

1.3 Review: 500ml bottle of St. Peters Cream Stout: 6.5% vol. Coming in a really lovely oval bottle, looks vintage and has an authentic old feel to it, looks like its a hard liquor bottle. Logo of a black crow and a key, what does it all mean? Very interesting. On the pour I am getting a pitch black colour, as you would expect from a stout, and a nice enough creamy tan head appearing. The head looks like caramel. Solid look overall. A lot of lacing is present, intermittent and not in rings. Getting a real porter smell on the nose, but its very faintish and not much to smell at all. Smoky and peaty, roasted malts, milk chocolate all noted but light, very light. On their site they called it an aromatic beer, but hell I didn’t detect a whole lot. Disappointing start. Onto the taste then and sure enough like all English ales types and strong bitters it is bloody strong, very strong. Getting a typical porter taste, very strong dark coffee flavours, roasted malts, a touch of vanilla and a creamy chocolate taste on the tongue. Yeah very strong with the coffee, especially in the after taste. Found it awful to drink, not nice, very deep tasting and overly bitter, the hops to the extreme. Not enjoyable at all, urgh. Very coffee centric, not well balanced at all. Coffee, coffee, coffee, basically. Yuck, again! A tough one to drink, wasn’t smooth or very drinkable but heh I will get hate for this, but I don’t have the English stomach for their bitters and “stouts”. I am Irish with a softer palate, so they can suck it up all they like, ha ha. Someone online mentioned this as “a precursor of a Black IPA”, I would have to say that’s actually a good call. It feels and tastes like that to me. Horrible. End of…
4.1 Mørkebrun nesten sort med beige skum. Aroma kakao melkesjokolade malt. Smak mørk malt sjokolade kaffe lakris. Middels fylde, soft, noe søtlig, godt øl. Flaske smakt Oktober -13
3.7 From the much-hyped 1770-vintage bottle, this imported cream ale pale initially gave off a strong whiff of tobacco when I popped the bottle cap, and continued to present a faintly smoky and leafy note in the aroma and the flavor throughout the pint. Poured a dense black-brown color with pale khaki foam. Nice white chocolate / cookies & Creme like flavor, pleasant notes from the lactose, true to style. Some other roasty notes to round out the flavor, approachable complexity. Something however in the mouthfeel and finish struck me as a bit off, too much lactic acidity or something like that. Very good, but not my favorite cream stout. Heartier body than my reigning favorite rendition of the style from Sam Adams. Overall I’d drink it again.
3.8 Color negro, opaca. Textura semioleosa. Carbonatación baja. Stout clasicota, pura cebada malteada.
4.5 Very lovely creamy stout. It does taste creamy. It's 6.5% but it doesn't feel it. Nicely chocolatey and a bit coffeey.
3.9 Tiene una espuma densa de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a chocolate, vainilla y malta.

4.5 Ottima birra senza fronzoli. Sapore intrigante e complesso. Leggermente legnosa.
3.4 Definitely the best beer i have drink from this specific brewery. The aroma is very rich and it gives you the feeling that you have one "Porter" beer frond of you. Lot coffe, chocolate, roasted malt and vanilla nose. The taste was sweet with all these ingredients. The carboration was medium to high and helps a lot the beer to go down in your stomach. Also the mouthfeel was decent. The finish was slightly weak with some metallic taste but nothing serious. Overall one great "Stout" beer to have.
4.1 Dark color with little head retention, the body is robust and have clear notes of chocolate and mild hop bitterness, it feels really creamy and mouth coating. A great beer for enjoy at a rainy cold day
4.0 Bottle @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma ecrù/beige media, a grana fine e persistente. Poesia.
3.7 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - opaque black, generous light tan to fawn head. Nose - creamy chocolate and coffee. And a hint of creamy vanilla, alright. Taste - more coffee and cream. Further on, there's light toffee amongst milk chocolate. Light roastiness rounds it off. Palate - creamy texture, light roasty finish, medium bodied. Overall - very nice.
3.8 How: bottle, from pint. BB: 141021 Head: off white, two fingers. Colour: almost opaque black. Aroma: milk chocolate, sweet, faint licorice, dark fruits. Taste: medium body, average carbonation, chocolate, campfire, herbs. Chocolate& campfire in medium long aftertaste that gets bitter towards the end. Really nice.
3.7 Virtually black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of licorice and burnt grains. A touch of vanilla. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through with some creamy, oatmeal like sweetness underneath. Body to the full side of medium, carbonation soft. Pleasant.

4.3 Rost. Vanilj. Choklad. Balans.
4.3 Aroma : Tons of dark malts but roastiness is actually pretty subdued. Big amount of dark bitter chocolate, a little coffee with a deep charcoaly/earthy note. Taste : Full bodied. Smooth creamy slightly oily mouthfeel. Extremly bitter. Much more roastiness than aroma suggests, indeed it's a burnt dark chocolate/coaly maltines. Finish is very dry. Fabulous !
3.5 Pours a dark brown colour with a beige coloured head Notes of roasted coffee and cocoa nibs Cask found at Wetherspoons in bury ST Edmunds
3.5 Certainly bitter sweet after taste. Lovely aroma and lovely rich dark colour.
Dulzor maltoso medio, amargor torrefacto medio-alto y regusto largo. Textura semi-oleosa, cuerpo medio y carbonatación medio-baja. Directa, correcta y bien acabada.
4.0 beer for a frosty winter, dark, complex aroma, dense body, harmony in taste and aftertaste, wine tones.
3.3 Tan almost dark brown head that dissipates very quickly. After that the beer looks strikingly like Pepsi. Black with hues of dark-brown, lightly carbonated. Aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, smoke. Very creamy chocolate taste that evolves into an interplay of sweetened coffee, strong coffee, and burnt bread (which, in this case, tastes lovely). Strong finish of chocolate, coffee and hints of smoke with a side of dried plums. While it feels creamy at first it's actually dry on the tongue.
4.2 Délicieuse...
