3.7 zapach dość wytrawny, przyjemny, lekkie słody, bardzo lekkie toffi i karmel, trochę czarnej herbaty, w tle trochę cięższe, ale przyjemne zielone nuty liści i traw. kolor miedziany, głeboki, klarowny, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, średnioobfita i średnio trwała. w smaku pełne, ale nie słodkie, słody, owsianka, wyraźny, dość wytrawny i ciemny karmel, sporo świeżych ziół, zielone rośliny i krzaki, ale pozytywnie, młode drewno, tytoń, odrobina zielonego orzecha włoskiego. goryczka spora, roślinno, ziołowo orzechowa, dość długa. w ustach zaskakująco gęste i pełne. nasycenie niskie.
3.4 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - cloudy amber brown. Thin attractive lacing. Nose - toffee, honey and treacle bread. Taste - more of that rich brown bread. Roast and sourdough. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture. Dry crunchy and tangy finish. Overall - challenging but good.
3.4 Bottle. Sparkling gold body. Medium white head. Nose is citrus, biscuity malt, orange and dough. Taste is bittersweet and tangy. Dry finish. Tastes a bit 2002, as in old fashioned. An old man beer. Hard to fault it, but not really my bag.
3.4 Bottles (originally) from Rainhall Drinks, Barnoldswick, Lancashire and B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. Amber coloured with a huge white head of foam. It has a red fruity, nutty and earthy flavour followed by a smooth, dry roasted and bitter-sweet finish. Pretty good.
2.6 Rami Rami is drinking an Organic Best Bitter by St. Peter’s Brewery Co. at Kufle i Kapsle Taster BL - mocno nijako slodkawe ciastkowe nieintensywne i goryczke ma, ale calosc malo smaczna jak dla mnie. To bez ocenki bo z pamieci i lycze26 na RB nie mozna bez oceny :(
2.9 Bottle at home, thanks to Dave, 21/12/18. Copper pour with a respectable off white covering. Nose is biscuit, straw, light twiggy aroma, dusty fruits. Taste comprises biscuit malt, brown bread, straw, light spice, dusty fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.

3.7 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into English pint (tulip) glass. Appearance: Reddish/copper colour, like diluted blood; Small head. Aroma: Malt, grains, hops, hint of caramel and citrus. Palate: Medium body; gentle carbonation. Taste: Malt, caramel, hops, shortly sweet than dry bitter. Overall impression: Tasty and drinkable, well-balanced, good for enjoyment. Nice bottle.
3.2 500ml bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Aroma of malt and toffee. Sweetish taste. Mild bitter finish.
2.8 Fles 50cl thuis. Flink bitter. Bijsmaakje. Apart. Met chips beter te drinken. (2-2013).
3.4 Nice dry sharp bitter. Malts are good and it benefits from the strength. Decent!
3.1 Bottle from supermarket in Umag, Croatia. Golden color, white head. Malts, good bitterness
3.7 Bottle at home. A good pour and a fantastic bitter flavour of hops across the whole palate. It really woke up my mouth and slipped down a treat. A classic English best bitter with a bitter hops weighting and all the better for it.
3.0 Bottle from waitrose. Very appely and coarse on the palate. Tasty but something arye.
3.0 Bottle at home. Pours clear amber, nose is malty, toffee, grassy, taste is grassy, bitter, dry toffee.
3.0 26th July 2017 Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Danny. Clear amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet and a trace of cream. Bitter dry floral hop. Some dried fruits. Harshly bitter spicy finish. Pretty robust.
3.0 From a bottle, pours datk copper with a thin lacey head that's gone in a second. A nice hoppy aroma and a sweet, bitter taste with a strong grapefruit note.
3.0 July 2017 - Bottle picked up at Waitrose and shared as an extra at Mr Tipple's 5K after-party. As 'St Peters Organic Best Bitter'. Be it known that I love these old-school St Peter's bottles, even if the contents are not always inspiring. Pours amber orange, lightly sparkling, foamy off-white head. Aroma is very bready – bread crusts and rye. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is spicy and bready, slightly salty, dusty and astringent finish. Good old school hop character. A perfectly decent old bitter. (5-4-4-4-13=3.0)
3.4 Bottle split with my father-in-law. This isn't too "extreme" or out of the ordinary. Instead, it's just a pleasant, well-made pint of bitter, with a strong malty sweetness backed by a good amount of hop bitterness at the end.
3.3 Rich malts, grain, cereals. Clear gold, medium, creamy, off-white head. Medium bitter. More grain and cereal malts, light floral malts, grass, wet straw, soft carbonation, light bodied. Decent Bitter, yet nothing to crazy. Bottle shared at L42 tasting - thanks to The_Osprey!
3.2 Bottle shared in London - thanks to Danny. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Simple dried bread in the nose, citrus rind. Light sweet flavour with noes of cereal, rind, pale grains, pine needles. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with husky bitterness, more citrus rind, hay, bread crust. So so.
3.0 Bottle on Level 42. Thanks to Daniel for this one. A deep orange amber coloured pour with a lasting halo of white head.. Aroma is nutty honey, green hop, raisin. Flavour is layered sweet honey, cereal, little grassy hop, green,. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, grassy green hop. Ok.
3.4 On tap @ drink Bar &Grill, Tallinn. Golden with a small white head. Malty and fruity tones. Malt, fruit, caramel and hops. Medium to light body with a bitter / fruity finish.
3.2 500ml bbFeb18 from en route Yorkshire - These medicine bottles are ever-widening their export circle, - so far it seems not just on account of the (still small batch from this microbrewery?) brew. - Amber-beige pour. Aroma of beeswax, wet pasture on toast, older blossom and cereal. Mouthfeel and carbo are just right for my kind of bitter, but the flavour and especially malt and hop profile seems unfocussed (more tha unbalanced): dry, yet sweet nettle butter; organic green tea and cereals. Hm.
4.0 I drank this beer from 500 ml bottle, a nice bottle. It is light in alcohol (4.1) but has a great aroma a bit toasted and grassy, very bitter. The body is medium - full, fizzy carbonation but not too much of it.
3.1 From the bottle, pours a clear light amber with a light tan head. The smell is mineral, toasted malt, grass. The taste is toasted malt, mineral, bitter and dry. Light+ in body with average carbonation.
3.2 Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of toasted, bready malts, some caramel, slight fruit, a little toffee and subtle spicy hops. Taste of bready malts, caramel, some fruit, a little tea, a hint of orange, maybe grapefruit and slight spicy, herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, spicy, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A surprisingly good bitter. Lots of hops and a pleasant malt base. Good.
3.2 Bottle. Orangey Amber in colour. Very Hoppy; intense earthy resinous hops; quite distinct hoppy bitterness throughout. Fruity; bitter citrus-lemon & grapefruit. Malt base; buttery caramel. Full flavoured. Dominated by intense bitter hops. Dry throughout; lingering very dry finish.. (2010-06)
3.0 Light amber coloured beer with off-white head. Aroma off medium sweet malt. Taste caramel malt and a bit spicy.
2.8 Aroma: Slight aroma of malts, caramel, bread and tea. Appearance: Clear/hazy amber/red beer with a slight/medium white/off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts and caramel; ends slightly dry with bread and tea. Overall: This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. Did not really want to say it is balanced, but figured that’s because there is almost nothing to balance. Watery, sweet and dry; that’s it.
