3.3 500ml bottle as part of a selection pack from Waitrose, Epsom. Pours clear ruby with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and washing up liquid. Taste of dried fruit. Initially sweet then bitter finish.
4.6 Rich ruby colour with a creamy head which stays well. A really smooth beer and a joy to drink. One of my favourites
3.5 500ml bottle. Dark ruby, off white head, good retention. Aroma of sweet treacle, malts, spice, red berries. Taste is roasted malts, burnt caramel, quite sweet, light red fruits, pepper, moderate bitterness and quite dry. Its good.
2.9 Aroma : Strong toasty caramel maltiness, some dark red fruits, light spicey & autumnal wet leaf hoppiness. Taste : Medium bodied, with a slight rough edged texture. Strongly bitter hoppiness with a light astringent edge. A little sweet caramel malt comes through as it warms. Not unlike a straight up red ale. O.K. but not special
3.2 Pours a dark red brown Off white head Sweet fruity notes Bottled version from St. Peter’s brewery
3.0 olor a red ale ligeramente agrio color rojo intenso sabor red ale con toque afrutado
2.6 Expecting more things from the ratings but the beer is not for me. First of all the aroma is very weird and unpleasand. These "vine fruits" is not my cup of tea. The taste it start ok and refresh your mouth but in secs you feel some weird bitterness and the finish give you one horrendous bitter/metallic aftertaste. The carboration is moderate and the mouthfeel is ok in the beginning but the finish destroy any good thing here. Overall not for me and perhaps i never tried this beer again
3.1 Bevuta in bottiglia. Birra ambrata. Bella bottiglia.
3.3 Ruby color, offwhite coam. Aroma and taste: floral hops, redcurrant jam, caramel, malty, dry and bitter finish, drinkable, not bad.
3.5 Fruits rouges et malts caramélisés en bouche...
2.8 500ml bottle in 2013. Clear ruby with an offwhite head. Aroma of caramel, leafy hops and berries. Sweet malty flavours, with toffee and light toasted note.
Cuerpo medio y textura sedosa. Carácter más bien cálido. Final amargo de persistencia media. Muy recomendable.
3.2 Bottle shared with Bart @ Bart's Place somewhereon dec 15th 2011, bought @ Bert's Bierhuis. Clear reddish brown with a white head. Caramel aroma with a sweet taste. Nice gentle ale with a long satisfying finish.
4.0 On tap at Hennie's Platanias. Red-brown color with a brownish thin to medium head. Slightly bitter with Caramel and nut aromas. Very complex and long lasting taste. A very fine brew.
3.4 Sample@Ølfestival København 2018. A reddish coloured beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of malt, spice, caraeml, spice and roasted notes.
3.4 500ml bottle from Metro, drunk overlooking the Sea Garden in Burgas on a perfect August evening. Pours clear deep garnet with a beige head, plenty of lacing and some rising carbonation. Spicy sweet caramel on the nose. In the mouth, flavours of dry roast, spices, caramel, toast, dry texture, minimal sweetness with dryness and flavour into the mid-bitter finish. Crisp, refreshing and pretty good.
3.5 Bottle @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Bruna on riflessi rossastri, schiuma avorio media, abbastanza persistente. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Buona.
3.5 Bottle. It pours ruby brown with a creamy beige head. The aroma is toasted malty with toffee and caramel notes. Some hoppy notes. The flavor is bitter and moderate sweet. Bitter toasted malty finish.
3.0 Nose - Caramel, roasted and bready notes, hints of berries. Taste. Caramel and nut-berry notes. Hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
3.5 Brown red color, small brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, grain, nuts, hint of coffee. Dry lightly sweet taste with bitter hoppy finish. Fine dark ale.
3.5 50 cl. bottle. Low fluffy lasting off-white head. Clar dark brown body. Vineous sweet roasted malt chestnuts caramel straw aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish.
3.1 W aromacie karmel, owoce czerwone, troszkę jakby alkohol?
3.1 Aroma: crystal malt, some rich fruit Appearance: dark red, tiny tan head that quickly vanishes Flavour: grainy sweet malt Palate: finishes lightly hoppy, thin but long finish
3.1 Rami Rami is drinking a Ruby Red Ale by St. Peter’s Brewery Co. at Kufle i Kapsle Powiśle Calkiem spoko - troche karmelu, owocow a la wisnie, jest goryczka, jakies chlebowe klimaty, troszke maselka niestety... 3.1?
3.2 Good - but missing something. There's a full malty and fruity aroma and a nice dose of bitterness... but the finish is somewhat abrupt and just slightly too thin (for the degree of bitterness that precedes it).
4.0 De Labirratorium. En vaso de pinta de Ikea. Cenando, con bocata de atun. Acaramelada y mineral.
4.1 Aroma: Subtle malt notes. Appearance: Brown color with hazy liquid and rocky tan head. Taste: Ligh sweetness with light bitter notes. Palate: Light body with creamy texture and soft/average carbonation. Long bitter and smokey finish. Overall: Surprising features. Very soft aroma and surprisingly strong taste and palate. Leaves a sweet smoke note. Paits with desserts or snacks.
3.3 Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 - amber coloured pour with off-white head. Sweet malty and fruity with some toffee and caramel notes, some fruity undertones, medium body, basic hoppy support, medium bitter in the finish
