4.3Very smooth beer, nice aroma and and lovely and satisfying taste !
1.6600ml bottle. Straight from the bottle. Sweet, malty, caramel, oldish in aroma/taste.
2.5Clear dark yellow colour with thin head. It's fulfilling my basic need of thirst. Otherwise a fairly nondescript yet reasonable mass lager. It's drinkable.
2.6600ml bottle from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma is grainy, malty, almost smokey. With a touch of yeast. Light gold. Thick frothy bubbly white head. Light sour. Underlying light bitterness - that acridness again. A touch of citrus. Light bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. It's not a great beer but it's not making me angry. That's a good thing I guess.
2.9Clear pour, lager style.
Crisp clean aroma.
Sweet onset with hoppy taste, pilsner style. Full bodied. After taste a bit cloying.
Easy drinking 5.1%.
Medium mouthfeel.
3.2Old Untappd checkin, November 14, 2018. (Large) green glass bottle. Full, sweet malty aroma. Sweet malt flavor, surprisingly full-bodied with a smooth finish. Probably my favorite African lager I've had.
3.1Pours a clear golden color with nice white head. A sweet lemony beer, not much for the finish but interesting. Slightly racked-like aroma.
Notes: bottle brought back by a friend, opened Jun ‘21
2.8BB 15062021 - bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of bread and unfamiliar hop. Approaching med body. A bit sweet, but surprisingly there's enough hop bitter to take care of the malt. It actually tastes good. I am surprised.
1.360 cl, bottled. From memory, tasted 24.4.2021. Clear gold with a white head. Had some distinct weird smokiness in it. Did not like it very much.
1.0Pours clear, thin golden with a full, white head. Aroma is grass and corn. Taste is corn syrup, moving to grassy hops. Finish is mostly corn syrup with light grassy hops.
2.360 cl. bottle at home. Bought at Fish-n-Beer. High creamy fluffy white lasting head. Clear yellow golden body. Sweet malt straw aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short sweet finish.
1.716.10.2019 -- 0.6l bottle from an afro-asian shop in freiburg, 5€, bb 06.08.2018. pours an almost clear pale golden with no head. aroma of corn, hay, sweetish cereals, a hint of camphor. flavour of corn, syrup, camphor. flat carbonation. meh
3.6Pale golden colour, low/medium hops & bitterness interesting taste. V.Good
2.3600ml botttle. Pale golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, corn, straw. Taste is sweet, malty, grainy, with some grassy bitterness. Watery mouthfeel, light bodied, high carbonation, dry grassy metallic bitter finish with residual sweetness. Quite bland pale lager.
3.0600 ml green bottle bought at Ghana Locals restaurant in Chung King Mansion, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Clear dull blonde colour; Two and a half finger head with soapy white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Good sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Aroma of fair lager malt, with used books, floral, fair sugar, wood, strong bread, fair lemon and fair grass; Close to light sweet taste of thin malt, with soda, floral, light sugar, wood, dry bread, lemon, mid to fair bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is fair Lager maltyness in a fairly slick background. Sorghum might have contributed to a thicker body and taste, and hops are obviosuly stronger than most macro pales. Highly carboed, with good floral and fair sweetness. Woody dry bready with lemon to round. Quite decent!... Hoppiness is floral, wood, lemon and fair grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is mid to light for a lasting, mid to fair level bitter-sweet fair malty finish; Dry after taste. Woody bscuity and fairly bitter to mouth.
Comments: Exotic country ticks usually means crappy macro pales, but this one makes a strong case of being not that: despite the slightly stale and papery aroma, this one does not suffer from lightstruck, has a solid body and richer taste than most watery macros, maybe sorghum did the trick. This ain't no drainpours and I don't mind to have another one next time.
2.5Average
1.1600mml. Bottle. Tasted on the 23/11/2018 at Groningen (The Netherlands).
Clear yellow colour with almost no head, piss. Aroma is piss, corn, sweet malts and yeast. Taste is the same, leadint to a watery and corny finish.
Next one please!

2.0Bottle from Asda. Golden in colour with a thin, white, head and touch of carbonation. Aroma of sweetcorn, thin malts and stale hops. Flavour was much of the same, with some cheap ingredients on display. Served at a very low temperature, which meant the beer was just about drinkable. Not good.
1.617th Sep 2018; monthly beer share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, usual five suspects in attendance. Thanks Simon for the 600ml bottle of this; BB 11th Mar 2019. How do you like your corn? Golden body, clear, clean and bright, fast fading snow white crown on top. The aroma held sweet corn and grass aromas, the taste also grass like but over ridden by the corn flavours; not good at all.
1.5600ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep '18, Thanks to Simon for muling this all the way from Asda Part of The Walmart Family, Birmingham. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is moderately sweet malt. Taste presents light metallic, a little thin, some indistinct off-notes, pretty awful.
2.0Slightly sweet, a little hop character, reasonably clean tasting generic lager.
2.0Bottle at Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2018. (country 93) Clear golden with a large white head. Thin with bread, some cardboard and grass. The body was light as was the bitterness. The finish was sweet. Not a tasty one but kind of drinkable.
1.9Big bottle from Beers of Europe cons 2018-06-10 Uddingston
AR: bready, dry grass, wee syrup
AP: clear coppery, frothy thin white head
F: wee dull, syrup, bread, dry grass
2.7Sweet malt aroma with hint of banana?! Hazy golden color with small sized white head. Sweet malty taste, kind of boring but without off-flavors. Thin body, soft carbonation. Quite OK. //bottle at African cuisine & bar
2.1Bottled 600ml from Tesco On-Line part of our international lager hunt. Burnished gold with white head, looks like they left the tea bag in for a while. Damp cereal corn like malt notes, rice? Some lemon notes perhaps, some tinny sweetness. Done that now.
2.7"The beer is a little darker than a standard lager with quite a large amount of foam. It starts of tasting like most standard lagers, but has a more bitter finish." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com
Date: 21/01/2017
Bought at: African House in Copenhagen, Denmark.
2.2600ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head that lasts for about half a minute. Aroma is malt, cooked vegetables. Taste is grain and sweet malt, light bitter. Boring pale lager. Not even very drinkable.
