2.8 Smell of malt. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt, starch, some grassy notes. Mildly bitter. Boring. Flat carbon. Subpar compared to other Czech pilseners.
2.8 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
3.7 From old tasting notes. Labeled as Starobrno Czech Lager. Bright yellow gold color. Big rocky white head. Fruity malt/hop nose. Soft fruity malt palate with a burst of hop bitterness midway through.
2.9 Aroma malt, karamell, frukt. Utseende klar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak malt, karamell, eple, humle. Fin fylde, lett bitter, fruktig, god sødme. Tap på Friends Luleå, 50cl 5% ---
2.0 Tap. Clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma is dominated by something sweet and syrupy, almost like corn syrup. Then grass, slightly yeasty. Rather sweet, with light to medium hoppy bitterness. Medium, sticky body, with soft carbonation. Aims to please, but the sticky sweetness really killed it for me.
3.0 Can in Bulgaria - labeled "Medium", but with 5% alc., so not sure where to put it. clear yellow color, white head. standard lager, quite refreshing and with a decent malty body. okay.
4.5 Draught at Gasthof zur Grenze/Pöttsching. Tasty and quaffable, very good.
3.0 Bottle, 33 cl, decent lager. Medium carbonation, not too hoppy features. Went well with taco dishes.
3.9 Pours from bottle clear yellow with minimal white foamy head. Aroma hints vanilla. Taste mildly sweet with no bitterness. Palate slippery and slightly oily. Overall nice lager. Brewed in Czech Republic. 5% abv
2.8 Rated from old notes. A rich, full bodied lager. Smooth and very pleasant on the tongue. Very subtle hops presence, the malt dominates. Okay.
2.9 From tap. Clear golden colour, medium head (rapidly fading), nearly no lacing, soft carbonation. Nose is malty, taste is pretty sweet, good mouthfeel, low bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable, but rather linear and simple. Compared to other industrial lagers above the average.
2.7 Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is a bit spiced. Weak, bitter/sweet notes. Taste is rather bitter at first, than turns sweet, maltsyrupy.
3.1 From old notes. Tap in Vienna. Rather nice hoppy nose, with medium malts, light fruits, and a dry finish. Crisp and light, decent, but not all that much going on.
2.0 A very generic czech lager. Not as good as urquell and budvar. Still has a good amount of spicy hops though, but the malt character is what drags this one down. very generic tasting.
2.5 Klasyczne czeskie piwo. Złota barwa, piana biała. W smaku słodowe z nutami maślanymi i z wyraźną goryczką na finiszu.
2.4 Little bit weak for me, bit watery, flat, white head, Amber colour, something to cool you down on a sunny day
2.9 Tap at the restaurant at the Slavkov Castle. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of hop, grain and caramel. Light body, creamy texture. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Quite a decent beer.
3.1 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet malt and herb hops. Taste of sweet malt, bit grainy and floral, herb hops. Sweet and grainy taste is more intensive as the floral hops. Light to medium body with an average carbonation.
2.5 Backlog.................. @ Havregatan 20121229. Bottle from Systembolaget.
2.8 Bottle. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, toast, toffee and herbs. Flavor is malty with notes of toast, bread and toffee. Ok.
2.0 Tap @ Hornhuset. Clear golden, small white and short lastning head, no lacing. Alot of white bread in the aroma. Light and watery mouthfeel, medium carbonated. Mid-sweet taste, bread and grassy notes.
1.7 Helt ok pilsner som egentligen inte kräver någon utförlig information då de flesta har lyckats få smaka.
2.4 Bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of malt, butter and some light hay. The mouthfeel was light. Drinkable but nothing special.
2.4 Slightly sweet herbal and grainy taste. Feels a bit clunky and complicated in terms of taste and aroma. Fairly low carbonation.
2.9 330 ml Bottle from Systembolaget Lysekil. Clear golden with white head. Smell is fruity and yast. Taste is sweet grain and bread and herbs and spices. Almost a bit Belgian. Semi sweet with Low bitterness and medium carbonation.
2.6 Gulbrun farge med ok hvitt skum. Forsvinner raskt. Lukter mildt malt. Lettdrikkelig pilsner med fin bitter avslutning.
2.8 0,5l Flasche. Goldenes Lager mit kleiner schaumkrone. Riecht leicht malzig, dies wird im Geschmack bestätigt, zum Schluß etwas metallisch. Typisches Lager.
