1.7 Very light golden. Clear as water. No head to speak of. Aroma is barely present; just a bit of corn. Taste is corn and sweet malt. Bleh.
3.6 Got it from an Armenian shop in Barcelona. Nice bottle and design. Nice to the sight pale yellow. Many carbon bubbles, refreshing. The taste is clear, clean, corn aroma. While lager is not my preference, I don’t get tired of it.
2.4 28th May 2017: Burning Soul Brewery tasting session. 500ml bottle thanks to me. Light golden body, clean and clear: white fast fading head. Corn like aroma and taste, light bodied and typical of a lot of the Russian Lager based beers I have encounted so far.
2.7 Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have a little malty sweetness . Low bitterness.
2.4 500ml bottle @ Burning Soul tasting, thanks to Jeremy for muling this back from Dresden. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Aroma of over BBQ-ed corn on the cob, taste is smooth, clean euro-lager territory with a low bitterness.
2.4 500ml embossed twist off green bottle. It is a bit tougher to open than some twist off. It pops open with a nice room-filling skunk. Pours an extremely pale gold with lots of carbonation bubbles and a soapy whit head. The skunk makes way eventually to a granny and vinegary-smelling brew with a bit of herbage. Flavor is a touch tart, herbs, slight skunk, some surprising bitterness. Its nothign special.
1.9 Bottle sample. Clear light yellowish with white head. Aroma of grains, honey and some flowers. Bittersweet flavor with notes of grains and flowers, a bit watery. Light-bodied.
2.0 F: big, white, average retention. C: yellow, almost clear. A: malt, grassy, floral, bread, light caramel, hint of buttery. T: malt, grainy, light grassy bitterness, sweet straw, medium light body, good carbonation, very boring watery tasteless beer as expected, 0,5l bottle from Ivan Da Maria Russian shop in Brussels.
2.8 Aroma: poor malty aroma. Appearance: golden, clear beer with big white head. Taste: malt, some nice hops bitterness. Palate: light body, high carbonation.
2.2 Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy cardboard flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.
2.3 Bottiglia.
2.2 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear light yellow piss colour with a thin smooth white head, becoming patchy. Aroma of sweet malts and grassy hops. Flavour is hoppy and also sweetish malts. Very watery texture. Easily drinkable but lacks flavour.
2.7 Bottle- Had this several times in Russia. A rather sweetish Pilsener. Smooth and fresh. I miss a good bitter finish.
1.4 Clear light yellow colour and small top. Aroma is sweaty a little bit, some hay and lemon also. Feels little bit old and broken. Flavour is very light, watery, mild bitterness, some malts. Quite dry and a lot of carbo. Can replace more expensive water in some occasions.
2.4 Bottle from Wb Stores, West Bromwich. Golden beer with large white head. Aroma of light sweetcorn and some lemon. Taste is grass, some lemon and light malts with a touch of hop bitterness. Not bad.
1.6 0,5l Flasche. Hellgelb, Schaum ok. Geruch und Geschmack typisch russisch. Metallisch herb, ohne Frucht.
2.4 500 ml can. BB 08/05/16. (Prisma) Tallinn, Estonia. Clear golden color with a big foamy white head. Grassy hops, mild bitterness and dry grainy maltiness in the aroma. Could be worse... The flavor however is very bland and watery... mild grassy hops, mild bitterness and some maltiness. Tastes like it’s been watered down. Watery and dry. I read some of the old ratings from 2001/2002 and it’s possible that this used to be quite nice Pilsener.
2.2 Can 0,5. Light yellow color, no head. Malty aroma, weak. Taste like usual lager, salty, little bitter. Did not like it.
2.6 BOTTLE 50 CL by Efes Moldova. Bottled March 2015. distinct herbal hops aroma, wormwood, somewhat dusty. The taste is also hop dominated with a bit of malt sweetness. The hops are somehow dusty and stale, reminiscent of a plastic container. Light astringency in the mouthfeel.
2.0 Bottle from Rasputin’s Food & Wine, Ipswich. Pours a clear golden colour with an average sized white head. Aroma of hops and grains. Light sweetness to taste. Thin texture. Unremarkable.
3.2 Bottle from WB Stores, West Bromwich. It’s a tough, cement-mixing, weight-lifting world. This is a wine gum, fruit gum lager. The swaying meadow grasslands hop is grassy pleasure. Enjoyed the hurting juice. Rather a good EE lager I reckon.
2.0 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours Golden, single finger white head that goes away quickly. Aroma of grass, grain, honey, wheat...tastes much the same. Standard Russian Lager really. But still nice!
3.1 500ml bottle. Pours very pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy. Taste is well balanced. One of the nicer Russian lagers.
1.7 When first released, it had more of everything. Latest bottle sampled couple a days ago was just not enjoyable at all. It was served at right temperature, and with a decent food, but it did not save it. Simple, thin, slightly carbonated. A bit dry.
2.7 Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Clear yellow with a white head. Grainy aroma with hay, some corn and light grassy hops. Slightly sweetish flavor, grainy, with a bit of corn and a drier, mildly bitterish finish with a light hoppy note. Pretty light-bodied. Pretty dry, clean and easy-drinking.
2.0 Bottle 0,5 Ничем особым не примечательное пиво.
2.8 Couleur dorée , bonne mousse blanche. Nez malté céréales, houblonné herbeux. Gout doux houblonné herbeux, céréales, maïs, notes beurrées. Bon corps, sans carbonation, pas trop mal.
2.6 Bottle 0,50L. Pale golden colour with frothy, white head.Green bottle skunky aroma with some grassy hops, hay and grain. Moderate bitter taste with nice grassy bitterness and long lasting aftertaste. Light to medium body, watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Better than I expect.
2.0 Goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geuch malzig, grasig, leicht hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, grasig, blumig.
