3.3 Malty. Not what I expected.
3.6 Aromas- Hoppy, grapefruit and fig with notes of honey, dried apricots and caramel. Appearance- Hazy amber colour with medium off-white foam. Palate- Medium body with smooth texture leaving a bitter finish. Taste- Bitter herbal hops with touch of honey, lemon and caramel. Overall-Lovely beer, bit medicinal but in a good way
4.1 A juicy, fruity and hoppy IPA, but not too bitter. Has a malty undertone, with sweet grapefruit and peach, and floral/grassy hops. Some mild pine notes, and a smooth mouthfeel. I'll be drinking this again!
3.9 On tap at Tipplers Tap on 23 November 2019. This is one big juicy hoppy dank bitter IPA and it tastes great. Not a bad first world problem to have - great tasting beer.
3.3 33cl can. Pours amber with limited white foam. Aroma is a little caramel and hoppy. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is somehow sweet with moderate bitterness. Finish is just a bit bitter.
3.9 330ml can from Lidl. Pours clear dark copper with a bubbly off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, bread, spices, grapefruit, some peach. Nice smooth mouthfeel, slightly sticky. Taste of bread, spices, peach, grapefruit, orange, some floral elements, some candied sugar, and a strong malt backbone. Definite Belgian yeast influence too. The beer blends together very well. Really enjoyed this!
3.5 330ml bottle share in 2015. Amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and mild esters. Fruitcake and chewy grain in the flavour, with some roastiness in the flavour.
3.8 Refreshing rich and fruity with a bitter hoppy finish.
3.6 Rating on the London Underground, 1st instalment: 0,33 can from Sainsbury's Bethnal Green, on my way back to Muswell Hill aug-19: banan, mynte, tyggis, lynghonning og søte spanske appelsiner, balansert med en leken humlekombo. A bargain at GBP 1.60!
4.3 This multi-award winning beer does not disappoint. Packs a punch and is a must for IPA lovers
3.7 A: Slightly ruby gold with a medium-big white head. N: Some subtle grapefruit and apricot jam. T: Nice! Noble hop bitterness with citrus peel that just jumps out at you! P: Medium O: Really enjoyed this one.
3.5 Can 330 ml. Bitter and not too sweet.
2.8 Tap at craft beer co. Clerkenwell. Hazy light amber color stable offwhite head, a bit of funky smell. Flavors are very complicated here. At first there isa wave of yeasts, something in the brett/lactose.though I can't say, maybe some infection off wild yeasts, wanted or not who knows. Then spices and incense, leading to raisin, dried apricot and candy orange and brown sugar. Some lemon zest and mud, a dirty bitterness comes to stay for a while. Very weird, barnyard smell, rotten hay comes to my mind a off flavors. Quite sour, long finish but not much pleasing. Atypical, if you like strange ones may be your choice.
3.8 Good fresh ipa with a ‘hazelnut’ finish
2.8 330ml bottle at home. Pours lightly hazed amber with an off white head. Aroma: citrus, yeast esters, hop resin. Taste; Light sweet & moderate bitter, rye, biscuit, fruity, marmalade, caramel. Dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with loose carbonation.
3.2 Can from Sainsbury’s Local, Edinburgh. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 170419
3.7 Appearance - NA, from can Aroma - Fruity slightly grassy, some yeast. Pleasant. Taste - rich, rye, same yeastiness from aroma. Bready/cereals with some christmas cake spice and sweetness. Body - Rounded and full, not too hot. Dryish finish. Overall - Almost like a Christmas beer - a bit strange - not what I was I expecting, but pleasant enough
3.5 Clear amber colour, medium sized beige-ish off-white head; aroma amd taste of marmalade, fruity notes, toasted rye bread and sloght yeast; is it really a golden ale?...
3.6 330ml can. Amber colour with off-white head. Big citrus hops, pine resin, yellow grapefruit, peach, grapefruit pith, dried stone fruit, caramel, light rye, dried mango, grapefruit peel, light wheaty, light biscuit malt, red apple, light guava, light toffee.
3.2 Can from Sainsburys. Dark amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Ripe fruits, earthy malts, some grassy hops leading to a dryish finish. Fine.
3.7 Mörkt bärnstensfärgad öl med ett smutsvitt skum. Doften är kryddig med malt och lätta grapefrukttoner. Detsamma återkommer i smaken tillsammans med viss jästighet.
3.5 Can from shops. Lightly hazy amber with fluffy beige head. Nose has a full-on sweet barley sugar with a grassy leaf. Light dry spicy grain. Soft medium body with moderate carbonation. Malty sweet ale with a balanced leaf bitterness. Very enjoyable.
3.2 Banana and biscuity aroma. Medium bodied, nice on the palate. Pleasant malt flavour, again with some biscuit/banana. Some gentle bitterness at the end. Not my favourite style but pleasant drinking nonetheless.
2.3 Very much my problem: another tired, autolysed tin of mock-craft on a Saturday night. Shamesbury’s need to sack their tasters. Or outlay a bit more on beer that doesn’t insult their customers’ intelligence. Broth, fruit refuse and eucalyptus aroma. Amber brown with a fine patina of bits and dense low head. Some rye-like pepper and heady mandarin. But mostly yeast and alcohol. Unlikeable.
3.3 Can. Hazy orange gold, thin short lived white head and low condition. Spicy nose with hints of fruity berries and estery yeast, and some hop resin notes. In the mouth it is quite sweet and fruity with some bubblegum yeastiness, some chalky bitterness and a muted but lingering peppery hop spiciness. Finish is quite dry with yeast bitterness and a hint of grainy sweetness.
3.5 Bought from can in Edinburgh, aroma of toffee and wood. Copper colour. Bitter and malty taste. Went well with chicken wings!
3.3 Can. Clear darkish brown with light off-white head. Strawberry, tropical fruit, belgo yeast. Sweet with strawberry, some wheatyness and rye, resiny hops. Long finish of rye and hops. Multifaceted and difficult to classify.
3.5 Darker and a little heavier than anticipated. Malty, Toffees...not really to my taste, but perfectly drinkable.
3.5 330ml can. Poured a clear copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is toffee malt, light resin, big tropical fruits, dry woody hop. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a malt, fruity, toffee apple, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty going on and with a solid backbone.
