3.5 Bottle, Beer52. Poured clear gold, big white foam. I enjoyed this more than expected, light sweetish malty base, some interesting fermentation notes, citrus and touch of spicy hop, moreish bitterness. It’s not amazing amazing but nice in the current beer world to have a pale ale more balanced between hops/yeast/malt than another ‘session ipa’ thin hop tea.
2.9 Bottled, 330ml from Beer52, Edinburgh. Hazy gold with white head. Initially this is malty, grainy in character, lager malt notes with a yeasty aside. There is a hopped note that comes through, a little over pasteurised, tinny but with grassy, herbal citrus notes. There is a slightly heavy hand on the carbonation nozzle. It's okay.
4.0 Better than avarage.
3.4 Pours hazy golden with a medium sized head. Aroma of malts and citruses. Taste of malts, bread, dough. Medium carbonation. Light bitter finish.
3.2 Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy golden pour, two finger frothy white head, good retention. Lasting head, nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is somewhat herbal and grassy, nltes of coriander and citruses. Light body, lively carbonation. Soft mouthfeel, lightweight, chewy, refreshingly fizzy. Bittersweet taste with citruc sour touch. Aroma of herbs and grass, grains, yeast, citruses. Coriander, floral notes, hints of spice. Earthy, minerals. Short lasting finish, lingering sour notes Refreshing but nothing to get excited about.
3.2 Straight form the bottle sitting in a park in Vienna. Citrus and a bit of stone fruit. Average
3.5 Slightly cloudy gold with a frothy white head and a floral, fruity aroma. Has a yeasty character to it, with light malt and citrusy bitterness balanced out nicely, before a dry bitter finish
3.8 Really tasty, fruity, balanced and easy drinking. Nice finish.
3.1 Bottle from Beer52. Bright yellow gold, thin but sustained white head and good condition. Gently fruity nose with some muted sweet grain and a hint of floral hops. Quite dry in the mouth with some bready yeastiness and a slightly estery fruitiness, and some earthy hop notes. Finish is soft and muted with some soapy backnotes and subdued hop bitterness.
3.2 Bottle from Beer52. BBE Nov 2021; Drank May 2021 - Hazy orange gold. Medium white head. Citrus fruity and stone fruit. Moderately hoppy, grassy. Pale malts, grainy, bready. Fairly dry. Bittersweet. OK. (2021-05)
3.2 Hazy golden. Hoppy pine aroma as well as hints of malt. Taste is a sweet malt with hints of grapefruit and pine.
2.9 Bottle from Beer52, hazy amber-gold with a small fine foam and a crisp noble hoppy nose with notes of bready malt. Palate is malty-sweet, a little waxy, and dry-bitter, rather reminiscent of a bittered-up Kellerbier. Turns a little harsh on the finish.
3.3 Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle, pours hazy golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruit, citrus, flora, yeast, hints of pepper & malt. Moderate body. Dry mild bitter finish
3.1 Pours murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is lager malt, some orange cordial, funky yeast and white pepper. Very watery. Taste is light malt, almost Belgian yeast and a tiny citrus tang. Dry and bitter finish. Refreshing enough but very bland tbh.
3.2 Bottle. Pours a pale gold colour with a tight white head, plenty of fruit in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and fruity with a dry bitter finish.
3.0 Bottle 330ml; Look: Hazy light Amber with moderate carbonation. Thin off-white head. Aroma: pale malt, yeast Body: thin Taste: pale malt, hop bitterness, grass Overall: crisp and clean. Sessionable
3.1 33cl bottle from Beer52. Thin white head. Hazy golden pour. Not much to it.
3.1 Lightly malty, some cereal, and a lemony and peppery finish. A bit lager-y. It’s ok, but a bit too much gas.
2.9 Bottle. Lots of corn, sweet malts. Some citrus and floral hop backing. Plum. Huh, not quite what I expected. Is that yeast in the flavour? Sure. Well, I didn't quite like that, but a decent beer nonetheless.
3.4 Pale, straw like pour little froth and little retention. Aroma; feint, sweet notes and yeasty. Taste; clean and crisp, yeast adds a nice fizz and a little sweetness from the Barley. Easy drinking pale ale. Characteristics are more those of a pilsner beer.
1.9 Bottle from Beer52. Slightly hazed gold with a light fizz and a thin white head. Lemon, sweetcorn, wheat, a little white pepper and economy white bread. A bit thin, with a cardboardy bitterness to finish. More than a hint of cheap lager. Poor, verging on unpleasant.
3.9 Clear golden pour with practically no head. Citrus hop aroma with a pleasantly light malty taste.
3.2 330ml bottle. Cloudy gold, small white head; looks ok. Not much on the nose, some fresh and floral hop, pale malts; its fine. Taste is pale malts, light floral and citrus hop, slight yeastiness. Light to medium bodied with some smoothness in the malts, nicely refreshing, somewhat dry. Its pleasant but I'm not going to remember this beer in one weeks time let alone a year.
3.0 Cloudy, hops, malt and citrus on the nose, tastes a but like a pilsner with extra malt in. Refreshing but unexciting.
2.8 Pours a amber hazy colour smells a slight citrus flavour Taste a slight orange zest taste a beer for a nice warm summers day
2.0 From Beer52 had at home, 330 bottle in April 21. Its okay nothing special.
3.2 Hazy gold with a white head, light yeasty, citrus aroma, medium body light bitterness, citrus, light spice, quite dry
3.2 [33cl bottle from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; saison style aroma - yeasty with a hint of farmyard; dry in the mouth with a wine-like body and taste; and a clean finish. Interesting.
