2.4 0,33l bottle. Looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, quite fruity like lemon, mild sourish hints. Finish still mild, almost a bit washy. Average.
2.5 Cloudy yellow. Abundant artificial lemon aroma and taste. Light beer character. Good body, but low bitterness and while there is a touch of pale malt character, most of the sweetness is sugary (label doesn't indicate anything at sugar, so taken at face value it's like a lemon syrup more than a lemon juice. Still, if you're feeling radler, you can definitely do worse.
3.4 Tasted from bottle into sampler glass at the 2109 Centennial Fest, it poured a clear yellow colour with moderate white foam. Crisp clean pale lager plus lemon soda, predictable radler traits, medium residual sweetness. Good and refreshing, but I like their grapefruit version better.
2.9 500ml can found in Winnipeg. Good cloudy yellow body and decent bleach white head. Sweet fake lemon juice aroma and vague grain funk behind it. Flavour is subdued lemon, not too cloying. Full on the mouth. Refreshing and balanced, not too sweet.
1.8 Pours hazy thin golden with a three finger, white head. Aroma is lemon and wheat. Taste is corn syrup, moving to sickly sweet lemonade. Finish is lemon zest. Basically a hard, sweet lemonade.
2.8 Nice cloudy yellow color with a fine head. Good intensity in the aroma. Off course a bit thin texture. Pleasant carbonation level. Flavor are off course lemon dominated. Very refreshing and fine. [Bottle at E-Wok Asian Restaurant (Vienna international congress center)]
4.1 Ar: Bright, hugely tangy lemon; minerality and refined light maltiness. Ap: Perfectly and uniformly cloudy light golden; large white head, airy and puffy, with very good retention, slowly receding and leaving chunks of lacing along the glass sides. T: Sweet and bright lemon-lime up front, fresh and zesty; pith and oil of citrus, with some lively tangerine; lean and minerally pale malt; bitterness is almost nonexistant, with no discernible hop flavor; finish is lemon zest. P: Light body with high carbonation; dry finish. O: A fresh and flavorful shandy; lots of lemon, with a flavor quality that tastes natural, not artificial; a true thirst quencher.
3.4 Found out of can from total wine in Charlotte, NC. Pours a hazy yellow with thin white head. Taste is sour lemonade.
2.3 Bottle. Hazy pale green color with a minimal head. Aroma and taste of lemon soda. Refreshing. Thin body.
3.3 Can, 0.5l. Hazy pale yellow pour, two finger frothy white head, quickly diminishing. Little to no lacing on the glass. Sugar and lemon candy in the nose. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel, soft texture. Mild sour taste with slight sweetness afterwards. Aroma of candy, lemon and lime. Nicely juicy, mild citrus tart. Sugary notes in the aftertaste. Not much of a finish to speak of. Overall, not much of a beer in here, but tasty and refreshing drink. Not bad.
1.5 Verfrissende radler met een lekkere bier/citroen smaak. De gebruikte limonade is niet te zoet en overheerst het bier niet te erg. -backlog de BierApp-
3.5 500ml can. Pours a hazy lemonade-like colour with a big white head, lasting quite long (especially for a radler), with some foamy lace. Very lemony aromas, like Sunlight, but not chemical or fake. The taste feels even truer with the beer yeast coming through the lemon juices that do not seem too sour. Does not list sugar in the ingredients, but sure seem like some is in there. At least, it is not syrupy. Pretty nice.
3.2 Aroma is lemon, ginger, and syrup; aroma of 7 UP or Sprite. Taste is sweet, lemony malt.
2.3 500ml can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of lemon and grainy pale malt. Sweet flavour of lemon, sugar and grainy pale malt. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. More lemonade soda than beer.
2.9 A pretty great radler. It's light and bright with a real fruit juice taste. Of course, there's lots of sugar and fizzy carbonation. Fun drink.
4.7 Zitrone has a thick, fluffy, white head, a cloudy, lemon-yellow appearance, with racing bubbles and moderate glass lacing. Aroma is of sugary lemon, with underlying malt, and the flavor is the same. The body is medium, and Zitrone finishes crisp & tart. RJT
2.7 Can. Cloudy yellow body with white head. Aroma is citrus lemon peel. Taste is sour citrus lemonade and some malts in the background. Aftertaste is sour and sweet.
3.4 Pours a lemonade yellow color. Pretty fizzy white head, like a soda. Doesn’t last long. Not much to see here. Aroma s lemon zest lemon soda. Taste is lemon zest and lemon soda. A little tongue numbing. Cracker malt. Mouthfeel is light bodied. Prickly mouthfeel. The tongue numbing is weird. Overall not bad. I’d much prefer the grapefruit. I’ll not be buying it again.
2.0 Aroma is fruity like candy or lemonade. It smells like citrus aroma. Hazy light yellow color with an average sized white head. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter. It tastes like citrus-lemonade, sugar and a subtle grapefruit note. There's hardly any beer taste. Mouthfeel is sticky, body is light, finish is short and sweet. Too sweet for me. 0,33l bottle.
3.4 500 ml can. Cloudy pear-colored pour with a small white head and fair retention. No lacing. Citrus nose. Soft, sweet lemony flavor. Not sticky sweet. More of a lemon soda than beer. Light and crisp mouthfeel. Very refreshing, but not really beer.
3.0 500 ml can. Pours cloudy pale yellow, no head. Lemon peel, orange, lemonade, tart. Slightly sour, bitter and sweet. Carbonation is soft, texture is watery and body is light. Dry sour finish. Good thirst quencher.
3.7 500 ml can into pint glass, canned on 3/18/2017. Pours hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart lemonade, lemon/lime zest, citrus peel, cracker, white bread, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of lemon soda, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of lightly tart lemonade, lemon/lime zest, citrus peel, cracker, white bread, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/citrus peel bitterness and lemon soda tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemonade, lemon/lime zest, citrus peel, cracker, white bread, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and balance of lemon soda, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, and fairly grainy/sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 2.5%. Overall this is a nice radler style. All around good robustness and balance of lemon soda, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery feeling for the low ABV. Well balanced lemon soda and helles flavors, with solid earthy hop presence. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example.
3.3 .5l Can from Boise Co-op. Milky yellow, initial frothy head fades to skin. Aroma is lemonade, lemon candy. Taste is light and sweet, lemonade, fizzy. Refreshing, light sweetness lingers.
3.4 Sehr angenehm trinkbares, erfrischendes Radler. Der Zitronensaft ist deutlich spürbar, insbesondere im Abgang verbleibt eine frische, leicht bitter saure Note.
2.0 From 16oz can to shaker. Pour is a cloudy orange, thin fizzy white head. Nose is orange, lemon. Taste is light bodied, sweet. Very smooth finish.
3.5 Can - Candied lemon and sweetness. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Lemon and some hard candy with a light finish. Nice.
3.1 Aroma - is pretty straightforward; lemon and some musty yeast and minimal hops Appearance - hazy yellow with an average white head Taste - lemon zest, musty yeast, and some minor hops. Palate - body is light, texture is thin, the carbonation is fuzzy, and the finish sweet, citrusy, and dry.
3.2 Can from Liquor Express. It poured a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. It has a light citrus aroma with a lemonade flavor. It is slightly tart. Very light bodied.
3.3 From the can so I didn’t see it. Doesn’t pop quite like the grapefruit, but definitely a refreshing summer beverage enjoyed in hot weather more than the score (part technical merit part enjoyment) indicates. Lemony wheat and a soda like carbonation. 3.2%.
