4.4Tasted from bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is strong tangerine and citrus notes. Taste is moderately to heavily bitter with flavors of tangerine and grapefruit. A little bit of resin and pine and some caramel sweetness to balance. Excellent IPA.
3.5Stone Tangerine IPA draft at O’Brien’s. Citrusy, pithy, with essence of tangerine. Almost tangerine blossom, in the sense that the tangerine tangy sweetness is absent, just a bit in the nose. Well brewed, but I found the added flavors simply a distraction from regular Enjoy By. 3.5.
3.3strong citrus and tangerine aroma. gold and clean in color with fast fading head. taste is hop forward but has strong tangerine/grapefruit flavor. finishes smooth.
3.812 oz bottle. Enjoy by 10/31/16. (Ale Jail) St Paul, MN.
Cloudy golden color with a small white head.
Sweet fruity and citrusy hops, mild grapefruit, mild bitterness and cookie malt in the aroma.
The flavour is sweet fruity and resiny hops, moderate bitterness and dry malt.
Strong.
3.8Bottle of the Enjoy By 10/31/16 vintage - good size foamy head, medium gold color, fairly big tangerine and hop aroma, slightly subdued in the flavor but still there for sure, fair malt backbone, juicy finish, very good overall
3.9Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a lasting fluffy off white head. Aroma is of orange, citrus, zesty, grapefruit. Taste is of bitter orange, grapefruit, light caramel, pine. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
4.1(bottle) clear, very bright orange amber colour with a small beige head; aroma of tropical fruit, honey; rich, balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish
3.8Aroma of tangerine. Very nice citrus hops on the taste. Great appareance, it’s a good one.
3.8Halloween bottle. Strong aroma of tangerine amd farty hops. Flavor is bitter tangerine peel. The orange flavors compliment the underlying masterpiece but overwhelm. Interesting twist but the original still trumps.
3.7Enjoy by 10-31-16. Lovely aromas of skunk, tangerine, sweet malts and grass. The body is a clear bright orange with a medium off white cap that leaves some spotty lace. Flavor is bitter tangerine rind with some bulky skunkiness, the bitterness is upfront and long lasting. Overall a solid brew by Stone.
3.3Draft. Orange in color and poured without any head. It does have a thin white lace ring. Orange peel aroma with some caramel maltiness on the tongue. Moderately bitter.
3.6Copper. Nose of sweet orange with some pine and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet tangerine/orange with some modest grapefruit/tropical fruit bitterness. Too sweet.
4.0Tasted from a 12 ounce bottle. It poured a clear golden hue with a big bubbly, quickly dissipating white head that left spotty lacing. Tangerine, grapefruit, and light hop nose. Huge hop taste (as you've come to expect from the Enjoy By line of IPAs) that gives way to tangerine and grapefruit. A tasty little venture into the fruity IPA realm, but I much prefer the original beer flavored Enjoy By.
3.7Bottle from Stone in Asgaya. Big juicy tangerine nose with some orange marmalade and light peach as it warms. Clean with a medium to light body. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Lots of tangerine on the palate. A bit of alcohol on the finish, but still a nice fruit IPA.
4.1Bottle. Moderate roasted grain and faint caramel for the malt, heavy grapefruit peel and pine for the hops, moderate soap for the yeast, with notes of apricot, medicine, solvent and bandaid in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with some slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear medium amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and acidic, and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, slick, with a soft to lively carbonation and a moderately alcoholic finish. Super DIPA with the addition of tangerine.
3.5Enjoy by 10.31.16.
Pours a cloudy orange with a small off white head and okay lacing.
Smell is of tangerine, hops, a touch of citrus, a little caramel, and earth.
Taste is tangy and crisp, tangerine and other citrus, caramel, and hops.
3.7Enjoy by 10-31-16. $3.00 Bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours orange with lively carbonation and a small off-white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, orange (probably tangerine), and roasted malts. Flavor is smooth citrus, definite tangerine, some grapefruit, pine, and bready malts. Nicely done... and good at hiding the alcohol.
3.7Pours dark orange. Smells of malts and heavy citrus. Smooth, malty taste with lots of orange citrus. Pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Tap.
3.9Enjoy by 10.31.16 pours a lightly hazy copper colour with a small white head. Nose of pungent fruity hops mostly in the citrus department. The taste is pretty rich with a good amount of citrus almost orangy hops with a slightly green character as well. A slight malty presence in the middle before mild alcohol shows up in the finish. Full mouthfeel for the style with medium carbonation. nice IPA for sure.
3.0Medium sized white head with good retention and a fair lace. Lightly hazy, copper hued brew. Grainy, citrusy nose, mild. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Fairly dry malts, hint of caramel, fruits and citrus, light grain. Was expecting something a bit more,,, vibrant? Dry, citrus finish, tame bite. Pretty straight forward and unamazing. Medium quaffability. Bomber from statelineliquors.
4.5Enjoy by 10-31-16. Unclear Creamsicle orange. White head. Fantastic hoppy tangerine character. Solid moderate bitterness. Medium dry. Sweetness to balance. Alcohol hidden nicely with just a pleasant hint. Grade A stuff.
4.2Yum! Quality citrus hops and well build body beer. Just what I expected, a high quality citrus ipa.
3.9From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Aroma of tangerines and mandarin orange. Flavors of lush tropical fruits. A real winner.
4.1Strong, sweet orange muffin aroma. Pretty complex on the palate, with some nice tingles and flavor spots. I could taste tangerine, hops, orange oil, fruit tart, and a bit of yeast. Another first rate brew from Stone.
4.0Smells great. Bright tropical notes, tangerine. Drinks super easy for an imperial.
3.8Hazy light gold with a bit of white head. Aroma and taste of tangerine and booze. Even bitterness into the finish. $3/12 oz
3.6Draft at Hop Scholar. Not a huge fan of the added Tangerine. It had an odd, non hop character citrus that j didn’t care for. Good, but a huge step down from the original.
3.8Draught from evening star. Clear deep orange. The exact right amount of fresh tangerine blending into malt.
3.9Bottle. 10/31/16 edition. Bottled CA: 09/25/16. A clear orange/amber pour with a thick and creamy antique white head. Lots of tangy tangerines, bitter grapefruits, pineapples, zesty citrus rinds, pine, vanilla, honey, and caramel in the pungent aroma. Full-bodied and pretty sticky on the way down. Caramel, honey, and some biscuity qualities start things off taste-wise. A little vanilla comes through in the middle. Loads of juicy citrus fruits and zesty rinds finish things off. Resiny. A fair bit of warming alcohol was present from beginning to end. Excellent!
3.6Draft at Moriartys. Hazy orange amber pour that started with solid top of off-white foam that left impressive thick lace. Lots of tangerine peel and piney hops. Medium caramel malts. Hint of fresh pineapple. Bittersweet and pithy. The tangerine feels real and works quite well. Would have again.
