Stone Ripper

Stone Ripper

When it came to creating Ripper, we drew inspiration from the coastal surf cultures of SoCal and Oz. Sourcing classic Cascade from the Pacific Northwest and Australian Galaxy hops from…yes…Australia, we made a beer both lovers of frothy peaks and hoppy green buds will be stoked about. At the same time, we stayed true to our San Diego roots by pushing the hop boundaries of this style. While some might think it lingers on an edge far closer to an IPA, with all the dry-hop flavor and aroma, it’s actually right in line with the current-day interpretation of a West Coast pale. Ours just so happens to have an Aussie accent that’s cascading with a juicy amount of grapefruit and passion fruit hoppiness. So veg out or venture out. Either way, rip one open and taste this awesome golden nectar!

3.0 Poured from a can. Dark gold. Big head. Decent lacing. Lemony aroma and taste. A little watery mouthfeel.
3.7 Smell of hops and grapefruit. Taste of hops, grapefruit and passion fruit. Very IPA finish with a nice bitterness.
3.7 Pours a golden colour, an average white head. Aroma is floral, spicy, citrus and tropical. Taste is sweet malt, which quickly gives way to grapefruit and passion fruit. Finish is resinous and citrus bitter hops.
3.9 Thuis uit een blikje. Redelijk heldere gouden kleur.
3.5 Golden color, citrusy, mango, a bit tropical, hoppy aroma and a citrusy bitter taste.
2.9 Pours a hazy orange with frothy white head Notes of juicy fresh hops Crisp earthy aftertaste Can version from CO OP
3.6 De 32gp. En copa Teku. Leyendo C++20 for Programmers Ch8. Agradable apa de fondo resinoso y terroso que se disfruta bastante a pesar de cierta sensación industrialoide que presenta. Deja un largo retrogusto amargo en boca que se agradece mucho
2.9 Smell- weak hops, fruits. Foam- thin, hops, malt, some citrus faint fruits. Head is medium-sized, white color. Appearance- quite simple can with a devil-like figure on it, should I give a bonus. no? Eh.. not this time. Slightly cloudy orange amber color. From- snifter Taste - some fruits, hops, malt, acidic, pine. Quite neutral, medium bitterness drink. Not bad, I would like it more fruity.
3.4 Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Piney hop, some spice, smoke, pleasant bitter finish. Interesting beer.
2.9 hvala goblet store na dostavi ovog piva.. ok pale ale ...moze se piti..okus slatkast ...vocan ..i malo cudan ....nekakav aftretaste cudni..
4.1 Can from Geers, Oostakker. Pours clear dark golden with a stable, small, white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple, grapefruit peel, cheese crackers, pine, pepper, biscuit. Taste has sweetish mango & pineapple in biscuity & cracker-like maltiness, soft spiciness going into bitter grapefruit & pine, before an earthy & resinous finish hits with bitter juicy hops. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Excellent APA with all the desired elements.
3.4 Blik 33cl thuis. Droog, bitters, hoppig, citrus, aardtonen, fruitig, zacht, hazy. (21-5-2020).
3.6 Marketed as "San Diego Style Pale Ale" - I would agree with that classification. Pours amber and only a little cloudy. Strong and lasting foam, and a lot of it. Pilsener type nose. Bitter on the lips but easy, almost "light" to drink. Long bitter aftertaste. Strong lingering Malt on the palate. Almost no fruitiness overall. Taste could be described as "dusty malt" but in a good primal kind of way. Bitterness masks the 5.7% alcohol pretty well. Bought at Kaufland Germany
3.7 Amara ma non moltissimo, agrumata ed erbacea. Ottima.
1.8 Good initial taste. Too much of a bitter aftertaste for my liking
4.4 Taste and smells like a summer day in Berlin
4.0 33cl can from Geers. Brewed in Berlin. Doesn't taste too German so I figure the hops and recipe made it across the atlantic. Pours golden to light copper, very frothy creamy head. Nose is green hops, resin. Not too tropical. Excellent bitter balance for this ABV. MF is refreshing, finish is short to medium, with a balanced fading bitterness. A true summer session pale ale.
3.6 Drinking the German version of this beer. Dirty amber with a frothy head. Piney smell with grapefruit and passion fruit notes. Bitter, fruity taste with a malty undertone. Mouthfilling, foamy carbonation.
3.7 Kolor bursztynowy, delikatnie zamglony. Piana biała, średnio wysoka, o długim czasie redukcji. Aromat intensywnie owocowy, soczysty i świeży.  W smaku na pierwszym planie jest zestowa goryczka. Jest intensywna i długa. Dalej jest podobnie jak w aromacie, soczyście owocowo. Wysycenie średnie do wysokiego. Treściwość raczej niska, jest zbyt wodniście. Piwo pije się szybko i łatwo.
3.6 Can 33cl. brewed in Berlin, from a local AH supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Slightly unclear medium amber colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, earthy hops, lemon, orange. Taste medium bitter and light sweet, malty, light grapefruit, earthy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, pine resin, has a kind of coarse feel over it, just okay.
3.5 Murky pale yellow. Small yellowish head. Notes of hay, citrus. Classic pale ale taste. Well refined.
3.2 Can from Dash. Slightly malty, bit of pine, citric. Slightly bitter and dry.
