3.1 Taste: Mandarin oranges essence, tropical floral hops, some yeast. Pineapple, dry hopped citrus nose. Bright orange hue, unfiltered with tall white head and ringed lace. Medium body.
3.8 Bottle pour. Hazy orange, large soapy white head, and lots of sediments. Aroma is citrus, pineapple, and tropical fruits. Medium smooth body. Little bitter with a nice salty finish.
4.0 얘는 단맛이 좀 더 순화된 맛
3.7 Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is resin, grapefruit and other citrus fruit, and pine. Taste is light/medium sweet and heavy bitter.
4.3 Pours hazy with obvious sediment. Thick white head. Heavy tangerine aroma. Taste of light citrus and fruity hops. Palate includes resinous hops, tropical fruits and citrus- all in strong quantities. Excellent ipa
3.2 Pours hazy orange-amber with a 1-finger white head. Aroma of orange, with touches of pineapple and grapefruit. Body is medium and lightly oily. Dry finish with a mild astringency. Flavor of orange with a note of pineapple. Resiny hop note at the back.
3.5 Another fruity iteration from Stone...I had high hopes...especially with the nose! Fantastic nose with hints of Tropical, citrus, pineapple sweetness...Taste didn't follow the nose much and the feel wasn't that great as the carbonation masked a lot of the subtlety of the beer. It is juicy and drinkable, but will not be a go-to for me.
4.3 Hoppy, grassy, aroma. Orange pour with white head. Citrusy front end with resins and hops on aftertaste.
3.9 Got this in a 12 bottles sampler. Cloudy gold with fast fading head and light aroma of oranges. Taste is fruity and well balanced for an IPA. Interesting brew that could be easily chugged. OK after drinking the first bottle had to see about chugging the next one. Yep can be easily chugged. Will enjoy and drink this last bottle.
3.6 Solid. A slight haze in this gold beverage. Some caramel in the nose with the fruit. Taste is clean and dry. Not a huge amount of fruit, balanced. Touch of pineapple. Nice balance.
3.5 Golden with a white head - Fruity aroma with hops - Malt body to support a good fruity flavour with some hop bitterness - The fruity flavours goes into the finish - This was nice
4.4 The beer looked like most IPAs, with the exception of the head, which a little thin, and short lived. The aroma was very fruity, showing off the mandarin orange and pineapple additions in a big way. The taste provided much less fruit forward than the smell suggested, because the hops provided a counterbalance. The beer was not overly bitter, but there were enough here to make it interesting. The feel was typical for the style, and the finish was juicy, fruity, and long. Very well balanced IPA, that impressed me more than expected.
4.3 Wow, very nice balance. Citrus fruit tempered with a hint of bitter zest. Hops come on, but not too strong, leading to a strong finish.
3.8 Pours a hazy copper with particles and white foam head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is similar, acidic and then moderately bitter. Has good carbonation. A solid IPA.
3.1 Enjoy by October 17th, for a brewery that emphasizes drink fresh, the stamps on their bottles need to be read easier. Pale gold in colour, no visible bubble action going on, the foam is good and long lasting. Lacing is above average. Bitter smell of tangerines, definitely imparts tropical fruit notes, pineapple, oranges? Not sure aboot that. Taste is tropical fruit, pineapple, wee bit of grapefruit, hints of onions, kinda dank. Almost a hop oil stickiness on the tongue. Good but not an IPA I would return to on a regular basis. Flavours are wearing on my palate.
3.7 Draught @ Stone Brewing - On Kettner, San Diego. Pours golden with an offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet fruity hops, peach, pine. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt, caramel, grass, fruit, citrus, piney. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 010818
3.6 Clear copper pour with aroma of tropical fruit and pine. Tropical fruit sweetness with some grass and pine. Very nice. On tap at Richmond Tap Room.
3.7 Pale cloudy yellow with pure white head. Nice sweet pineapple in the nose with some yeast and citrus. Very floral in its bitterness. A bit grassy. Slightly sweet.
3.8 Vom fass in escondido, Leicht trübes gelb, im gerich fruchtig im geschmack fruchtig herb, lecker
3.8 From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aromas of grass and pine. Only moderately bitter with tropical fruits. Another great IPA from stone.
4.4 Yummy. Aromas are caramel, fresh stone fruit, tropical and citric hops. Flavors are Like Nose with a very nice Bitter, Sweet and Carbonic balance plus some weed. Excellent body and finish. Great drinking beer I want more.
4.1 2018 rating. A unique blend of sweet notes and hop crush. Had this in the bottle.
3.6 Can from Joe's Wine and Liquor, Memphis. Juicy fruity hop aroma with citrus, mandarins, orange, light weedy Mosaic. Sweetish and medium bitter, body is medium. Loads of citrus with mostly sweetish orange and mandarine.
3.5 7/1/18: $1.67 12 ounce can purchased at Binny's 3/4, canned 11/9/17, best before 3/9/18. Murky golden pour, light thin white lacing, mild carbonation. Sweet pineapple aroma offset by mild hop aroma. Taste matches aroma, mild fruit flavor offset by pleasant hop taste. Very firm and dry, nice light mouth feel, smooth drinking. Overall good offering!
3.6 Can bought at Craft Beer Rising, initially poured a clear amber with a big head, but it tasted a bit harsh so i figured it needed the trüb too for the fruity bits... And sure enough, pouring that in didn't just make it slightly cloudy, it also juiced up both the aroma and the flavour. It's still sharply bitter (57 IBU), but now there's tangy citrus notes plus a hint of herbal, almost spearmint, character.
3.5 On Tap . @La artesana, Oviedo 20/06/2018 Color amarillo opaco corona de espuma blanca, aromas a resinoso herbal, sabor maltosa cuerpo denso, final amargo.
3.7 Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus with a light pineapple note. Slightly acidic pineapple/not really ripe. Med body or so. Flavor is very fruity; mandarin orange and a pineapple touch. There's some other stuff, but I can't parse the hops. Seems floral/perfume. This is not dry and it's not bitter (or not very). Just a pleasant thing to drink.
3.8 Pour from a 12oz can. Beautiful hazy pale orange brew with white head. Aroma of resin, tropical fruit, berries. Taste is moderate malt up front with rapidly emerging resin, citrus and tropical fruit. Finishes with an excellent hops flourish dominated by cirtus, orange and tropical fruit tastes. Satisfying but agile palate. My sample was in the clearance aisle and is a couple months past the expiration date, but it is still one of the best brews I've had thus far this year.
4.0 On tap at Craft Bier Bar, Bremen. Pours almost clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, tea, some caramel. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel, bitter finish.
3.7 Pours gold with a film of tan head. Aroma is sweet berry citrus. Flavor has a very mild bitter character but has nice rounded floral notes with a sweet honey finish.
