Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, grass- hay alike hops, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, leather alike yeast - hops notes. 3.7 Not a favorite during my Belgium visit. Clash between NZ hops and Belgian blond yeast perhaps. Love the cartoon though.
3.7 Bottle (330 ml). Clear golden with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is grainy and grassy with light spiciness, yeast and floral presence. Taste is also grainy with a some spiciness, grass, floral notes and malt. Moderate lingering bitterness and light alcohol warming. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel. A tad oily. Dry finish. Good Belgian Ale/IPA. A tad hot. Balance isn’t great, but it’s still quenching.
3.2 Slightly watery complex beer with huge yeast character. Slight sourness. Motuecha not too obvious but good saison like brew.
4.0 Pours Golden brown like a wheat. Citrus aromas. Malty, citrus with a strong hoppy taste to finish. Nice carbonation so the taste doesn't linger making it a refreshing beer. 7.5/10

3.0 Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Clear blonde with a huge white head. Aroma is a bit grainy and a bit fruity with some hoppy notes. Flavor is a bit sweetish and malty, a bit bready, with some fruitiness, mild hoppiness and a finish with some bitterness. Medium-bodied.
3.6 Sampled from keg. A lace of dense blond foam, over a deep honey golden body. Leafy and herbal hop aroma with tones of lemon and resin. Fairly light body. Taste is hop driven, zesty citrus, herbs, some floral tones and mild resin. Dryish restrained malt body. A fine fruity-spicy bitterness linger in the finish. Highly drinkable.
3.4 On tap at Haand Festival. A dense, finger-thick off-white head sits on top of an unclear, golden-orange body. The aroma has vinous notes, citrus peel and pine cones, and some pale malts in the back. It’s lightly malty on the palate too, pale malts only, with a medium to full body, quite dry and with a strange woody mouthfeel. Citrus peel, pine cones and some hints of white wine in the flavor, lasting for some time. Well, I like the vinous touch in this one, else it’s a bit ordinary. 130525

3.1 Color between gold and amber. White head. Citric and hoppy nose. Same for the taste, with an alcoholic note. Since I know the potential of the Motuecha hop, I’ve got to say I’m a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, a good beer with a high drinkability.
2.9 Donkergele kleur met een aardige schuimkraag. Ruikt beetje zurig. Wat matte en waterige smaak.
3.0 Keg at Borefts Bier Festival 2013. Floral and soapy with a big head, not a bad beer
