4.0 Cask. Pours creamy thick black with nice tan small head. Aroma is very sweet, milky, nougat, chocolate, coffee and chocolate milk. Taste is very sweet, milky, chocolate milk, almost like liquid milky way. Sticky creamy body, yet light. Some nougat at light roast barley in finish.

3.2 Ordentlich milchig mit einem Schuss an Schokolade, dazu eine angenehme Perlung, leichte Süße und milde Süffigkeit. Absolut in Ordnung.

3.3 Bottle from a trade. The beer has got a deep black colour with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of roast, malt, coffee. Taste is the same, little bit on the dry and thin side. Additional milk, bread, chocolate, peat. Roasty and thin finish.

3.5 33 cl. bottle. Black with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of chocolate, licorice, caramel, bread and roasted notes.

3.2 On bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway. Black color, good offwhite foam. Medium aroma intensity; some roasted aromas, milk, malt and toffee. Medium body & complexity . On the sweet side. Enjoyable

3.0 Not a bad looking beer if you can get over the head being somewhat temporary. It looks almost cherry coloured in the bottom of the glass with good clarity in the dark body. The aroma was a little bit oxidised and coming across the other side of the world can’t have helped this. There’s also touches of cola and definite sweetness in both aroma and flavour. Not a bad drop. Warming and endearing.

3.4 Aroma of coffee, dark caramel, and Cola. Dark caramel, faint vanilla and roast notes in the flavour. Sweetish aftertaste. Kind of mild and milky.

3.6 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours dark brown with brown head. Nose is sweet dark malts, sweet chocolate, cold coffee. Taste is also sweetish, roasted malts, sweet milk chocolate, some espresso.

2.6 Bottle. 6.0%. Best before 31.05.15. 10 cl. sample. Pours black, with a small greyish/light tan head. Dry, sweetish, roasted aroma. Sugary sweet, roasted flavour. Fruity finish with a lingering light grassy/apple note. Overall not bad, but boring. 01.05.15.

3.1 Almost black of color with a small beige head. An aroma of cold coffee, roasted malt and espresso. A flavor of dark chocolate, cold coffee and roasted malt.

2.8 Bottle share at VBC. Almost black with a small tan head. Slightly toasty aroma. Medium body, Medium low bitterness.

3.6 330ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - Deep back body, tan head. Nose of chocolate and liquorice, a bit of burnt wood smoke too. Sweet taste, bit milky and some chocolate. Quite enjoyable, but too sweet over the long run.

3.5 Bottle. Near black with a beige head. Aromas are chocolate milkshake with blackberries and earthy coffee. Medicinal with herbal liquorice and prunes. Flavours are coffee and dark berries with cream. Raisins with hints of lemon and nutty cola. Herbal with chocolate and a leafy palate. Good.

3.5 Bottle. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Light sweet and moderate bitter flavor. Roast and lactose present. Moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.

3.4 Bottle from real ale store, Newark. Very dark beer, with a thin tan head. Aroma has sweet malt, chocolate and dark stewed fruit. Taste is mainly sweet. Slightly thin body.

3.0 Bottle. Sweet milk chocolate and some dry roast. Thin and watery body. A pretty middling effort.

2.5 Bottle. Pitch black pour, tiny tan head. Almost no Nose, roasted malts. Taste is slightly sweet, with a clear finish with roasted malts. Heavy body, soft carbonation.

3.1 330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with a dark copperish glimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, some roast. Taste is roasty and chocolately dark malty, minimally tart-ish hints of lactic acid.

3.1 Black color with a tanned very small head that disappears immediately. Aromas are strong: roasted malt, chocolate and some toffee and liquorice notes. Flavor is sweet malt and some final very light bitterness and sourness. Body is a little watery and carbonation is low.

4.0 330ml bottle at Dean swift. Dark black pour with small brown head. Aroma is milk chocolate, toasted malts and coffee. Really smooth stuff. Milky sweet chocolate. Bitter dry coffee. Yum

3.9 Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roast malts, chocolate, a little sugary, taste is sweet and creamy, chocolate, light coffee.

3.5 Bottle; pours very dark brown with a tan head; bittersweet aroma with roast malt, chocolate, with hints of dark fruits and coffee; taste is mostly sweet with chocolate, roast malt, milk, and coffee; finish is lightly bitter; pretty good

4.3 Ruby black with a gorgeous creamy head, aromas of chocolate and creme de cassis. The red currants are back on the flavour, with dark chocolates not much of coffee, and salty caramel. Medium to light bodied, it is still silky creamy on the palate. Gorgeous shit! I love it! Absofuckinglutely!

3.7 Clear near-black beer with a creamy head. Toasty malt aroma. Flavour is sweet and malty though there is a slight sourness to the fruit.

4.1 WYGLĄD: Barwa brązowa, zmętnione. Piana drobna, krótka, oblepia szkło. AROMAT: To co lubię, czyli dużo mlecznej czekolady w aromacie, wyraźny kokos, słodkie kakao, delikatna kawa, piernik. SMAK: Czekolada, czekolada i jeszcze raz czekolada plus kokos. Skojarzenia z Samuel Smith’s "Organic Chocolate Stout" lub baton "Bounty". Minimalna paloność i goryczka. Alkohol świetnie ukryty. Bardzo pijalne. Udany sweet stout.

3.2 Aromat kawy i trochę czekolady deserowej. Barwa czarna z minimalnymi rubinowymi refleksami. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, krótka. W smaku mleczna czekolada i kawa. Wodniste i pijalne. Goryczka kawowa, średnia. Niezły sweet stout, ale jak na milk stouta z bańką mleka na etykiecie (nowy wzór), to zdecydowanie za mało mleczne.

3.0 Bottle 330 ml At home. AlmostBlack in colour with brown head, nice lacing. In aroma the beer is sweet - malt, chocolate, milky. In taste dark malts, sweet chocolate, coffee. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Overall decent.

3.2 On cask at Euston Tap. Pours black brown with a light tan head. Thin for the style. Sweet start, some roast, pleasant enough but I was expecting much more.

3.2 Bottle 330ml @ home Pours dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, lactose, cocoa, coffee and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, creamy, coffee finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.0 Fargen er svart med tynt beige skum. lukter sjokolade og mildt kaffe og malt. Mild kaffe/sjokolade også i smak. Kort ettersmak. Medium fylde.
