Dark caramel color, tiny White head.
Malty Nose, roasted malty taste, smooth finish.
Medium body, soft carbonation.
Øv, jeg havde forventet noget mere. Savner smagen af jul, med sødme og gode krydderier.
Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - brown pour with small white head. Sweet malty with some dark dried fruit, raisins and sultana, nutty, cakey, not bad.

Beautiful persistent foam. Smells sweet and hoppy. The taste is slightly sweet, customize hoppy and spicy pleasant as you’d expect from a Christmas beer. The finish, I think unfortunately is too short. It has a somewhat dry aftertaste. Undoubtedly a fine Christmas beer, just not stand noticeably out amongst the large selection.
Aroma full of hops and pilsner-like. The color is reminiscent of cola. Taste is very bland and full of hops. Reminiscent of a pilsner with some caramel. Not a impressing beer at all.

0.5 bottle. Very dark brown color with a crimson tinge and a medium-sized, beige head which leaves a good lacing. A definite malty aroma of caramel, bread, yeasts, and a bit of dark fruits. Taste is also malty, rather sweet with subtle bitterness; caramel, wood, some smoke, hints of earth. Medium body, creamy texture, and average carbonation. Finish is also sweet - the dark fruits can be felt here more than anywhere else. Overall the beer is pretty alright, simple but strikes a good balance between sweetness and bitter tones.
very light roasty aromas, appear beautiful very dark amber with a fine white head. taste light bitter, and have a creamy texture with a coft carbonation.
Bottle 50 cl from Le Palais de la Bière - Aix-les-Bains (F). Garnet beer with an average beige head. Malted aromas, fruity, spices of yeast, candied fruits, black cherry, plum. The taste is soft syrupy, barley sugar, dry fruits, licorice, roasted and butter. Average bitterness bit proper. Good but nothing splendid.
Nice lager type Christmas Beer with subtle karamel notes and a relative large hop profile for this type. A small amount of diacetyl is perceptible. Nutbrown color with a redish tone.

Medium body, sweet, cane sugar, coffe notes, sweet aftertaste.

Bottle, 50cl. New blue inspired etiquette it seems. Pours deep, dark brown color with beige, creamy head. Aroma is spicy, malt, caramel, some ripe, dark fruits, bread and hobs. Sweet , light roasted malty flavor, cinnamon spiced, toffee, and bread. Medium body, soft carbonation, easy drinkable with nice mouth-feel. Starts promising but miss some depth in the aftertaste, as it ends rather flat and watery.
50 cl. flaske. 5,7%. Nu med ny flot blåetiket. Smuk og dejlig mørkt øl. Smager fantastisk uden den mindste bitterhed
Karamel og britisk ale duft.
Rustrød.
Rund Classic pilsner men med mere karamel og let toffee. Simpel afslutning.

Color is red brown. Aroma is caramel, roasted malts and some spices. Medium carbonation and head.Taste is dark fruits, spices and some dark roasted malts.Descent and ok christmas beer.
On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Aroma of fruit and spices. Taste of sour bitter fruit and caramel. It taste like a combination of wit beer and Christmas beer, not a good combination.
50 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a lighter, golden hue. Small, creamy off-white head. Spicy and malty aroma with caramel and bread malts, lightly roasted, Christmas spices: Cinnamon and brown cookies. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a bit thin creaminess, soft carbonation. Short sweet finish with licorice, malts and spices. Okay, not outstanding and true Christmas-like.

Aroma is spicy and sweetish with some herbs and bready malt. Flavour is somewhat sweet with toffee, bready malt, some roasted coffee and hints of licorice. Not the most typical dunkel. Kind of interesting, but nothing big still.

Bottle (label is now "Svaneke Rød Jul *Ufiltreret*", but the barcode matches this entry) . Pours amber with small white head. Aroma is weak and mostly caramel and hints of cinnamon. Taste is heavy bitter and light sweet. Palate is watery with good carbonation.
Mörkt rödbrun öl med ordinärt skum. Doft av rostad malt, sötma och en antydan av kryddor. Det söta tar över lite i smaken och det finns inte så mycket mer. Tyckte Svanekes mer kryddade Julespektakel var bättre.

Nose is hazel, sweet caramel, little dry lemon, later red apple, weak.hops whiff, feel is watery, carb is mediumweak, taste is heavy sweet malt, cereal note, rotten leaves, later weak sour earth
On tap at The Crossroad Club. Deep red brown. Aroma is caramel and roasted malts with hints of spices. Sweet without much bitterness, but a decent beer.

Bottle, 50 cl: Copper red beer with a large beige head. The aroma is spicy, fruity, malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, roasted malts and x-massy spices. Medium sweet with a nice medium bitter hop finish with medoum duration. The body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Nice head, deep mahogany with a light cloudyness? Light caramel, kandis, dried wood in the nose. Meium boy and a little short. Tasting druy with some caramel. to dry and simple.
