3.5 Bottle. Thanks Lorebá! Bronze color with white head. Resiny sappy hop aroma. Bitter, resiny hops, some medicinal herbal notes, honey. Palate is a nice bitter honey taste. Nice enjoyable classic British ipa.
3.6 0.5l bottle thanks to Lore. Amber body with a yolk head. Nice British style IPA with significant toffee notes rounded by floral hops, honey and toast. Nice one.
3.2 #2123 Tap. A bit hazy, gold to amber, medium white head. Fruity aroma with herbs, wood and caramel. Taste is moderately bitter, neutral. Caramel, fruits, leaves. Medium body and carbonation. Unfortunately only average IPA.
3.3 Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy, pale amber colored. AROMA- hoppy, fruity. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly bitter, fruity, touch of bubble gum, floral hoppy tones. Medium bodied. Average IPA.
3.6 Tap @Klasterni Strahov. Clear dark amber, offwhite froth. Caramely aroma, some spicy hops. Sweet flavour, spicy hops and alc warmth. Slightly rough in a nice way.
3.4 Draft. Slightly cloudy beer golden IPA with a fruity, candylike, hoppy taste. Alright little IPA
3.6 At the brewpub. Hoped to dedicate my 6000 to what was my favorite place in Prague until today. Uncalled-for rudeness from some of the staff in the restaurant building, clearly incapable with dealing with people in a professional manner, made us leave the place angry, without ordering anything. After a beer I decided not to miss the IPA yet again and just grabbed one from my feet. But those people should be ashamed of themselves. Murky amber body with a lasting white head. Citric and slightly tropical, classic aroma. Sweetish taste, notes of tropical fruit. Citric undertones. Bit oily-herbal finish without much bitterness - doesn't seem like 60 IBUs. Bit salty though. Dunno. The subdued bitterness unbalances what's otherwise a very classic, flawless IPA, pushing it in the sweeter direction that rarely suits me. Glad I finally tried it. Just sad I had to try it this way...
3.8 Golden with little beige head. Aroma is grapes herbs peach peel lots of apricot type fruit some yeast. Taste is sweet fruity with a nice bitter hoppy hinge. Nice finish of fruit and hops. Full body yet quaffable. Good.
2.9 0.4 draft @ Klasterni Pivovar Strahov Delicately hazy, dark amber color, small white head. Aroma is very hoppy and even weed-like. Taste is bitter and once again plants dominate. Some lingering bitterness and flowers. Overall, just about average.
3.6 7-3-7-4-15 On tap @ Klstern Pivovar, Praha. Pours hazy golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is hoppy notes with apricots and citrusy orange, as well as malts with cereals and toffee. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is hoppy tropical notes with apricots and orange peel, as well as malts with cereals, toffee and honey.
3.8 On tap @Monasterio Strahov Praga. Ambar oscura, de abundante espuma blanca. Aroma delicadamente lupulado, bastante herbal. En boca bien malteada, acaramelada en la base, con notas de miel y contrapunto de amargor moderado. Muy cremosa y suave en el paso en boca, donde ahora el predominio es floral. Final más seco. Y en conjunto, muy agradable y muy bebible.
3.5 Spritzig hopfiger, weich würzig-grasiger Antrunk. Sehr süffig, vollmundig, blumig mit Noten von exotischen Früchten. Angenehm milde Karbonisierung, langer Nachhall, trocken werdend. 12/11/10/11//11
3.7 1 l bottle tanks to my mate Borut. Also several pints at Strahov and several bottles at home we brought from Prague trips. Pours orange yellow with small dissipating off white head. Lacing is nice. Aroma is mix of pollen and honey sweetness of Czech pilsner malt with some light caramel and rather mild citrus malts. Taste is medium sweet pollen or honey like, with medium bitterness. Body is medium, texture is slick, carbonation average. Finish is quite long, mix of sweet pollen or honey like with decent easy bitterness. As far as I can still remember, aroma was much more hoppy at Strahov.
3.3 tap @ Prague near Monastery. Aroma of skunk, green bottle (penthynylomercaptan). From behind - citrus. Taste of citrus, hops.
3.8 Draft at the brewery across from the Monastery. The IPA poured a hazy gold color with a white head and lacing. This is very attractive looking ale in a 1/2 liter glass. The aroma of floral hops and citrus greets you. This is well brewed ale with excellent malt structure and floral hops. The medium body ale has average carbonation. The waiter called this IPA "Matuska". The IPA was above 6.3%. With language issues it is sometimes difficult to sure what you are drinking. No ABV were listed.
4.1 On tap at brewery. Amber color, hazy liquid, white head. Aroma of pine, tin of citruses, fruity. Medium pleasant bitter. Very good.
3.5 Malty, light orange amber, hazy, white foam, frothy, very bitter, a little fuity citrus medium body, average carbonation, bitter,
3.5 On tap, @Klášterní Pivovar Strahov, Praga. Viaje 03/2017 Color amarillo corona de espuma beige, aromas principales florales y herbales seguido de notas a caramelo, el sabor es herbol con un final amargo.
4.2 0.4 L from tap at the monastery. Pours nicely, great yellow color, not clear, and fastastic flavour. Not very hoppy, and weak to the nose.
3.4 330 ml bottle shared by my friend Mike. Label with Ganesha, elephant deity. Courtesy of a friend, thanks Ben! Picked up in Prague sometime in August 2016, so aged a bit too long. Clear amber with beige head. Aromas of malt, floral. Tastes of malt, biscuit, floral. Medium body with a dry finish. Not bad despite the age, would like to retry it fresh.
3.5 Pite 21.02.2017 Aromat słaby ale przyjemny, przede wszystkim cytrusowy, chyba też trochę brzeczkowy. W smaku lepsze. Goryczka jest wysoka ale bardzo przyjemna. Dosyć słodkie, ale w wyjątkowo przyjemny sposób
3.7 Draught at the brewhouse. After a boozy weekend in prague, it was probably not the best time to try this beer but it was a delicious IPA. I’m not sure it would be as good as read about (one of the best in the world??) but certainly a great beer full of flavour.
3.7 Draft Third of a Pint at GBBF 2015, Olympia, London Aug 2015 - Hazy Deep Orangey Gold in colour. Average off-white lasting head. Good lacing. Very Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Hoppy; grassy hops. Spicy. Malty; toasted malts, caramel. Bitter very fruity hoppy and dry throughout. Very drinkable. Lovely IPA! (2015-08-12)
3.6 Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy copper colour with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grassy fruity hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh crisp refreshing fruity light metallic hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.5 Keg at the brewery. Pours clear amber, nose is orange, caramel, grapefruit, taste is sweet, pithy citrus, juicy.
4.0 Tap @Klášterní Pivovar Strahov, Prague. Pours hazy amber with a quickly thining white head. Nose is citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Taste is along the same lines as tbe nose but with a hoppy/cheese vibe going on.
3.8 Cask at Svaty Norbert brewery. Dark golden in colour with lasting head. Citrusy aroma and taste, both very nice. Refreshing, drinkable, bitterness lasts for a while. Very good IPA.
3.5 Tap (Klášterní Pivovar Strahov, Prague). Dark amber colour, a bit hay. Long white-grey head, good lacing. Herbs and small malty note is aroma. There is quite bitter but definitely with herbs charakter, too long and too heavy like for english not american IPA. Despite this it’s quite nice in summary.
3.5 Clear amber body. Aroma has grapefruit like soapy notes. Bit thick caramel sweetness. Rich and smooth.
