Sweetwater Goin' Coastal

Sweetwater Goin' Coastal

Slide into Summer and step off the grid by Goin’ Coastal with this pineapple laced IPA. The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple - and just like those three day weekends, its finish is quick.

3.2 Bright golden color with yellow tinged sudsy crown. Fruit hop aroma punctuated by citrus and melon. Some decent bitterness in the finish. Nothing special but if you're craving a fruity IPA this one's serviceable.
3.4 Dégustée le 2019-12-01. .
Belle tentative.
3.4 Can - 500ml. Pours a slightly hazy, golden body with a thin, white frothy head. Good hoppy aroma with malty and pineapple hints. Its well balanced taste is similar to the aroma. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable.
3.5 Нравится мне это пиво. В меру фруктов, хмеля!

3.1 Tap at five and dime. Hazy golden, low off-white head. Sweet fruity pineapple, light mango. Medium light mellow body. Lightly bitterhopped fruit juice finish.
3.3 Aroma of pineapple, sweet malt, and perfume. Taste is pineapple, lemon, hops, and some vegetation.
4.0 Fruity, clean, easy to drink but has a hoppy bite
3.5 Pours clean orange, nice head. Aroma: pineapple, pine, oranges. Nice light bitterness and oranges in the taste.
3.5 21-04-19 // taster at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Clearish golden. Indeed a pineapple nose. Ipa body but more sweet.
3.6 Bottle at Taps, Desa Park City, Malaysia. Poured a hazy orange amber with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, pineapple citrus, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a fresh, crisp, light tart citrus, dry pepper spice, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
2.5 Oranje/geel kleurend bier met een mild stevige schuimkraag. Het bier smaakt in het begin zoet en citrus achtig met veel aroma van ananas en bloemen. Daarna wordt de smaak zuurder en valt de milde bitterheid in.
3.5 355ml bottle from Beru Vykhodnoy in Russia. Pours slightly hazy gold with a tall white head. Aroma is sweet malts, citrusy hops, pineapple juice notes. Taste is medium sweet followed by light hoppy bitterness, caramel, pineapple.
3.6 Well I kinda expected to hate this, the idea of pineapple in beer just don't sound right, even though some hops these days have tropical fruit notes. And the only other beer I had with pineapple in it was borderline. Anyway, this was a nice clean IPA. Fresh hop notes, some resin, def tropical fruit, so I guess pineapple is there but it wasn't very distinct. Semi dry bready malts, fairly drinkable.
3.6 Foggy golden. Decent white head. Nose: fruity hop, pineapple, honey malts. Light to medium body. Taste: light sweet, medium bitter, clean, hoppy enough. Just a touch of pineapple. Well-made
1.9 Bottle, probably another ubiquitous IPA. Who cares what this IP looks like, its probably just another clear pale or cloudy pale west or east coast BS. So what if its cloudy, so what if its clear, its bullshitty IPA, ubiquitous and available everywhere, no longer is it special. Yes, bitter and cold, sizzly for a change, for frikken IPA ale, makes it almost tolerable. So, if I cool this to almost freezing it gets better? Let me try it at the moment it starts to harden. Pretty bold I'd say. Yes, bitter mouth hardening cutting carbonation. So much so fresh so cutting. Cutting almost makes me transgender want more. But in the end, its just another stupid azz decent IPA.
3.2 From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy and chunky gold with an off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus.
3.4 Draught @ Brew and Bird. This is a decent little IPA nice tropical notes coming from the pineapple.
3.6 It pours golden and clear. Head retention is excellent. The aroma has pineapple and grapefruit up front. There are other tropical fruits and cantaloupe. It has pineapple flavors with cantaloupe and grapefruit. Other tropical elements and low in the background. There is a bit of sweetness in the flavor from beginning to end. It has a medium body. The sweetness carries through the finish. It is not really all the bitter. Overall, a nice tropical IPA with a lighter bitterness than the average IPA.
3.4 Tat at O'Connell's. Cloudy golden yellow beer with white head. Malts, sweet fruits, citrus, light grapefruit, hops. Medium body, average carbonation, fruity bitter finish
3.5 Bottle. Pours a dark golden color with a foamy head. Aroma of citrus, pineapple and trace of grain. Taste of tropical fruit, pineapple, and bit of malt. Nice bitterness and clean finish. Medium body, crisp, clean and quite refreshing. Tasty.
3.3 Bottle from Beer Republic. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, pineapple and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 071018

3.5 pours a dark gold pour with a beige head. Nose is delicious bittersweet pineapple, and very fragrant. Taste is bittersweet , hoppy blended nicely with deep pineapple. Finishes on the bittersweet ‘ lengthy ‘ notes.
3.1 (Keg at William K Kurvi, 20180929) The beer poured deep golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and pineapple. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pineapple, soap, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A brew with bit too weird taste.
