3.0 Bottle @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with small white head. clear, fruity and malty aroma. Sweetish flavour of fruit and malt, with citric notes. Sweetish amd rough finish. Well, it is not a very demanding pale ale, but it is ok.
2.9 Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with toffee notes, a touch of fruit, and some phenolics. Sweetish fruity and malty flavour with a hint of citrus character
3.0 Bottle 355ml @ fonefan Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
2.9 Bottle. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, medium sweet, little thin, hop and a little bitter.
2.7 Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 231113
3.3 Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, hops, flowers and fruits. Easy drinkable.
1.9 Backlog of ratings. Thanks to someone at one of bu11zeye’s tastings. There is not much smell, some floral and light corn. The taste is light hops, citrus, fruits, and watery. The look is golden in color, whitish head, and clear.
2.5 Pours pale amber. Lots of lacing. Light bodied, even somewhat thin. Dominated by hops bitter. One dimensional beer. But refreshing anyway. Nothing objectionable.
3.3 Bottle, 12oz. It’s a hazy, dark golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has grapefruit and pine cones, with some pale malts in the back. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, with grapefruit and a generic fruityness, some green pine cones and a light malty sweetness as a backdrop. Full to medium body. Quite decent bitterness in the finish, at least overpowering the malty sweetness. Some faint caramel hints. Not the most exiting APA I’ve had, but it’s quite decent. 130828
2.1 12oz bottle, from Party Town. Shared with DanielCoor. Half bottle, capped and fridged and capped for a couple hours. Clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head, decent lace. Little caramel, malty hop, and some bready, kind of lagery aroma, strange. Bigger bitter taste, which would be fine if there was some interesting hop flavor to carry it, but no. Just some spicy, kind of earthy hop, and bigger metallic malt. Medium body. Even hours later, this still feels over carbonated and excessively dry, with a rougher texture. Not a good pale ale.
2.5 Shared by DrSilverworm. This beer has a smell of a American light lager and the appearance is only slightly better. Taste sucks. Skip this sucky beer. Pissed I wasted a rate on this.
2.8 Not horrible but not great. Grassy aroma with a bit too much carbonation but a decent finish. Grab some high life if you want to save some money
3.1 Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Golden with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus and caramel. Taste is of grain and light grass.
2.6 Bottle. I was nervous about trying, and if came through as I thought. Nothing special, way too much carbonation, musty aroma, mild taste. No reason to visit this again.
2.7 Aroma of wheat with a dark appearance, wheat forward taste and a Belgian-like finish.
2.7 The aroma is subtle yet hinting towards hops and bread malts, and the appearance is straw yellow with the thinnest layer of white foam. The taste is mildly bitter with no other complexities, and the palate combines a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and an abrupt finish.
2.3 Pours a see through golden color, this beer had little hop appeal and leaves a funny aftertaste, glad I only have to drink this one
2.4 Very mild pale ale. Has a watery taste to it. Mild hoppiness comes through. Can see drinking this on a hot summer day while outdoors, but this is just mediocre at best.
0.7 One of the worst beers ever. I dumped most of it down the sink. Thoroughly disgusting.
3.2 Appearance: Well, it looks like a pale ale. It has a very bubbly head with some surprising lacing. Lots of carbonation. Probably this beer’s highlight. Smell: Musky. As another reviewer said, I kind of get a kitchen soap aroma in there as well, now that I think about it. Maybe some grassiness. Something about it smells sort of cheap. Taste/feel: Well... I don’t know. Initially it tastes pretty decent, but then the feel/aftertaste really comes in. There’s about a medium carbonation here, but the aftertaste has a -- get this -- watery taste. How? It just does. It’s quite odd. I can see how this could be a good beer when you’re thirsty after a hot day outside, but this really didn’t even deserve to be poured into a pint glass. It’s definitely much better than typical macros out there, but as far as pale ales, this one misses the mark a little bit.
2.9 Does not have an overly hoppy flavor at all Pretty well balanced beer with some slight cardboard taste. Pretty refreshing and very drinkable.
2.9 12oz bottle. Pour is a clear bright orange with a layer of light white lace. Aroma is nicely hoppy, with a clear malt backbone and just a touch of sweetness. Flavor actually reminds me briefly of a corn beer or adjuncts. There is certainly enough hops to call this an American pale ale and it’s refreshing - but I’m worried about what is hidden here.
2.8 A decent, if rather subdued APA, with a relatively dry and light body. The taste is mostly of hops; flaws of omission (intensity and complexity) rather than commission. High drinkability; low interest.
2.7 Score: 81 Color: faded brown Nose: hops and sour mash with a hint of spicy-ness Taste: something resembling sour mash on the front end, a little bit of rye added to a sour mash flavor on the mid palette, rye whiskey and spicy-ness on the finish
1.5 This is shitty beer. Ratebeer.com wants my review to be more than 75 characters, and it is now, and this is indeed shitty beer.
3.9 just like their Amber ale this is quite a good beer! the only "negative" is the finish which is just neutral to me... definitely top notch
2.6 Cloudy yellow color with light head. Aroma is a bit yeasty for a pale. Not hop forward, but not a bad flavor here. Seems like a miss for the style, but not a terrible beer. Won’t go for it again, though this could be a good saegway to craft beer for Bud drinkers, I guess.
2.5 Bottle. This beer has a bite to it has herbs kind of bitter bit of hops good carb. It’s not bad by any means but it’s not good either. Good gateway beer for someone starting out maybe.
2.6 Nicely filtered golden hue with a touch of amber and no head. This is an old bottle with some oxidation issues that I won’t mention. Aroma is primarily sweet caramel malt and a hint of vanilla. Light to medium fizzy body that reminds me of cream soda: sweet caramel, vanilla and no sign of hops until the finish. An unpleasant bitterness lingers. Probably a good "not thrills" beer to chug when it’s fresh.
2.2 From a twist off. Almost lotsa dull hop aroma. Simple ale or lager appearance. Sometimes gets a thin creamy head. Very strong impact, thought it was an ipa. Goodly amount of co2 allows it to grow on you. Still has that big bitter side of tongue thing happening. Yez, sizzzly co2 saves this one.
