Taybeh Beer Golden

Taybeh Beer Golden

Bottle: Unpasteurised.

Ingredients: Malted barley, hops, pure water, and yeast.

A distinctively flavoured beer with a clean, crisp taste. Taybeh (tai-bey) in Arabic means "delicious." Our Taybeh beer is hand-crafted in small batches in German traditional style using a top fermenting yeast and cold lagering. Brewed with only the finest natural ingredients. The fresh, flavourful alternative to imported beers.

This beer is also brewed for export at Strubbe in Belgium.

2.4 끝맛이 아주 쓰다. 그래서 매력적이다.
3.8 Poured from a 333 mil bottle into a Taybeh glass. Nice dense head which settled down leaving a nice lace. Not much smell. Very refreshing taste with an initial hint of citrus and finishing with a slight bitterness, just what I would hope for from this style of beer. Interesting use of top fermenting yeast with lagering, which produces a refreshing dry beer that is more complex than many lagers. This is a beer worth looking for and I would buy it regularly if it were available at my local off licence.
2.7 Mała butelka (innych nie widziałem). Aromat słodowy, smak niezbyt wyrafinowany. Trochę lepszy sikacz niż przeciętne piwo żydowskie.
2.2 0,33 litre Bottle from Gulating Oslo Sentrum. Golden with white head. Malts, yeast, sweetness.
1.8 Pours clear dark golden with one finger, white head. Aroma is corn and light skunk. Taste is corn, moving to light roast. Finish is roast. An less than great golden.
3.0 Pours a clear golden with white head. Honey and malt aroma. Balanced, clean taste...light banana. Notes: bottle in Bethlehem Jul '19
2.9 Robe or vif, limpide, mousse faible, carbo plutôt moyenne. Nez de grain, un peu sucré, brioché. Attaque de malt légèrement sucré, fort goût de pain frais, grain en bouche. Légère amertume herbacée. Une lager très classique mais plutôt sympa, qui se boit très bien.

2.7 33cl bottle bought in Belgium. This is the Strubbe version of the beer. Definitely an ale, and similar to how I remember Courage Light Ale to be. Good in a hot country where you were really thirsty. Not so much in autumnal Belgium.
2.5 Bardzo puste i nijakie. W posmaku delikatna kwaśność, zboże i posmak tyskiego. Na plus na pewno fakt, że wcale nie męczy i jest całkiem pełne, niemniej żadna to przygoda ów wypić.
3.2 330ml bottle from Tel Aviv. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is grassy, malt, hints of grain and hops. Taste is light sweet, bready, grassy hops. Mild bitter finish. Actually rather decent (for a lager, which is what the bottle says it is). I’ve had worse new country ticks.
2.1 Słodowe, kwaśne. diacetyl i aldehyd. Nie ma wiele do zaoferowania. W smaku jak woda.
4.2 Its one of the best beer from Palestine so far, good beer to enjoy at bbq or a night at home with friends, good smell and not bad taste
2.7 "The beer is golden in colour with a medium white head that lingers. It also has a solid amount of carbonation that lasts. This beer actually looks alot better than it tastes. It tastes malty but has a weird bitterness to it that is not to my liking. The same bitterness also stays into the aftertaste making it hard to really enjoy this rarity from Palestine." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com Date: 13/01/2018 Bought at: Somewhere in Jerusalem, Israel.
3.1 Bottle from Fauzi Azar Inn, Nazareth. A little unfair to rate it as a golden as it is in fact a take on a German lager. It does well with the pilsner malts, a slight spice. Quite smooth. Overall, an ok lager. ---------------- Tap at Taybeh Oktoberfest & Ramallah as well as bottle in Jericho. A decent enough lager to be honest, 2.5 to 2,7 (15/9/18) --------------------- Bottle at walled off, Bethlehem. kept at 2.7. decent sweet helles style (20/5/19) ---------- Bottle at the brewery after a long hike. 2.7 to 3.1. A really fresh lager that actually came across more pilsnery this time with an almost there pilsner bitterness. Liked it.
2.3 Bottle - 330ml. Limpid golden body with a fading white foamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with bready hints. Its ordinary malty/hoppy taste carries bready and herbal notes. Ends with a fair bittersweet finish. Boring.
2.6 Clear oily golden. Light grassy and citric hops, butter, dominant malt bill. Body is light and thin, only bitter with a very low carbonation. Chicoree. Okay.
4.0 Una birra fresca, dal gusto delicato
2.7 Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar Belmont. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Kind of bready on the nose and tongue. Kind of Oily on the tongue. Eh!
2.5 Bottled Golden with a brief, white head. Sweet, cereal Aroma and flavour. High carbonation. Low bitterness.
2.6 Bottle pour at Osaka Beer Fes 2017. Cardboard nose with sugary malt and some hay. A bit stale and oxidized, creamy and sweet. Meh. 5/3/5/3/10
2.2 Golden blonde colored with a nice head. Very airy nose with just a hint of grains. Tinny cereal grain body with a watery grain finish. Underpowered, and underwhelming.
3.2 Living in Jerusalem, this beer is my staple and, given limited choices, it’s not a bad option to be stuck with. It’s aroma - hay and grass - suits my preferences well and I enjoy its medium body and lively carbonation. Quality control at Taybeh does seem to be an issue as the beer can vary from batch to batch - in a way, this is all part of the experience, but it can be a bit annoying sitting down to enjoy a tasty cold one and being served something resembling a half-flat Carlsberg.
2.4 #1191 Tap. Clear golden body, small white head. Aroma of apples. Taste is neutral. Apples, malts, peaches. Light body, medium carbonation, a bit watery texture. Not really good, but still acceptable.
2.6 Draught at Peace Center, Bethelem. Clear, pale gold colored. AROMA- apple, citrusy. FLAVOR- neutral, slightly bitter, lightly malty, lightly citrusy, touch of metal. Light to medium bodied. Acceptable.
2.1 Butelka 0,33 kupiona w Betlejem. Jedyne palestyńskie piwo jakie piłem. Wodniste, bez zapachowe, o lekko słodowym smaku. Ciekawostka.
2.5 Bottle from a trade. Clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Malty caramel aroma, biscuits, some cream. Malty bubblegum flavor, fruity, some biscuits. Almost ok.
2.2 Sampled from the bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Enthusiasts’ Festival. A golden lager with a white head. A gentle, slightly malty Pilsner with hint of honey and a quite a good mouth-filling taste for Mediterranean lager. Not bad as a thirst-quencher in a hot climate.
