1.4 Light clear yellow about a finger head disappears quickly good carbonation smell of grains malts grassy taste watery light malts not much in taste refreshing beer not bad
4.5 My favorite beer of all time. I drink it to relax and enjoy my company. If I wanted something stronger I’d just reach over to my tequila bottle. Goes down EXTREMELY smooth.
2.1 Lata. Yellow colour, bubbly fair medium white head. Mild aroma of grains and some malt. Thin palate. Mild flavour: grains and some malt, mild bitterness.
1.8 (12oz bottle) AROMA: minimal nose, nothing bad or off, only very light hints of biscuit and cereal APPEARANCE: pretty light straw yellow, clear, thin white foam, looks refreshing TASTE: light soft grain, hint of sweet corn, tad fruity, almost no bitterness PALATE: quite sparkly, light, cleansing, clean and short follow through OVERALL: kind of like a good Coors light. Weak in flavor and body, but drinkable.
0.8 Not a bad light beer. Better taste than Coors or Bud light
1.9 Tastes very faintly grainy. Not much else going on. Clear yellow in colour. Ok for a low calorie beer
1.6 From backlog. Bottle at Fred’s Mexican Diner, Old Town San Diego, Ca. Light yellow with white head. Malts, Thin.
1.6 Smell nothing, taste slight sweetness. Nothing more.
1.5 Can @ Best Western Plus. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, corn, sugar, hay. Flavor is sweet, malt, corn, sugar, little lime hay. Thin watery body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 23 oz for the sink. 310718
4.0 Tecate Light is a kick back beer it has a good mild taste and a soft aroma when cold you can enjoy Tecate Light all day with friends
1.7 355ml Dose. Klar und golden mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Getreidig. Etwas Malz. Sehr leicht.
5.0 Buena cerveza
1.7 24/6/2018. Draught at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, Las Vegas. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of corn, lime, grass, fruit and hops. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of citrus sour. Light body, thin texture, above average carbonation. Fruity finish. Quite poor.
0.7 Can. So Tecate claims this beer has a full taste. Don't believe them. It does not. Very, very weak.
1.6 Pours wan straw yellow with a thick ivory head. Aroma offers a fair malty note, not anything more. Flavor features an unenthusiastic malty note. Texture produces wimpy body and fizz. Well, it was two bucks.
0.8 Pours a pale straw, sweet corn aroma, watery and thin, my only advice is drink it cold.
2.5 16 oz pour on draft at El Tio in Falls Church. Clear golden straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, corn. Tastes of malt, corn. Light body with a dry finish. Pretty bland.
3.5 Beer 2 from the sampler pack on Cinco De Mayo. Rating it with the lime. Certainly not bad. Little flavor most of it's from the lime. Certainly drinkable but not the best Mexican lager.
1.1 Pours a light yellow with a white head. Nose is grain. Body is thin. Taste is grain, corn with a slight resemblance to Tecate in the aftertaste. 12 oz bottle in a variety pack.BBD 1/2019
2.6 12 oz can poured in Playa Del Carmen. Senses. Going brew hunting until tomorrow, but until then, I will keep enjoying these sub 4 percent beers that are quite fitting for the sunshine and bright blue water scenery. For rating purposes I chose to pour my first of a few cans of this beer. I swear I had this a couple years back in the Dominican, but either I'm crazy now, or it wasn't worth rating then. Pours consistent with the bulk of the Mexican lagers. Shiny golden and clear. Soda like carb. Active fading fizz cap. Cream corn like flavor to start, but it fades to a minimal existence, and the remainder is actually a bit sweet. A cool front on the flavor keeps this being an instant refresher that goes beyond first grabbing the near frozen, sweating can from the cooler. Cornish, almost wheat like aroma here. Grassy but subtle. This has little enough flavor to where I can get on board with it if I'm put in the proper scenerio. Sitting in the sun and over analyzing a cheap pale lager on my rating account is that scenerio today.
3.1 24 ounce can into lager glass, best before 4/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A touch of fruitiness, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Minimal herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Solid robustness and good balance of pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Pretty watery, but not bland. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.9%. Overall this is a okay pale adjunct lager. All around solid robustness and good balance of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful for the low ABV, despite being watery. Nice clean pils malt/grain flavors and mild earthy hop balance. A fairly enjoyable and non offensive offering.
1.9 Draft to pint. Looks solid for the style; a completely transparent gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes like watered down piss and grain with a light-bodied mouthfeel. Meh.
1.7 The aroma is very light, maybe a slight hint of soap. Appearance is clear gold with a thin white head. Taste is weak and not much to mention. Easy to drink as most light beers are. Overall about what you would expect from a light beer.
2.3 Clear very pale yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is mild corn and boring. It has a light body with thin texture and soft carbonation. The taste is bland.
2.0 Drank previously but didn't have time to rate at that particular time. just getting around to it.
1.0 12oz can from the can. Very little flavor. Minor gag reflex with each mouthful. Not even a hot day can help this one.
1.9 At a Mexican restaurant: drank from a can but we all know how this looks. Aroma is light grainy pale lager. Taste is watery but with some flavor. Not too terrible for a light beer.
1.8 The hint of a decent aroma but too light. The appearance is of a slightly dehydrated person's pee. It is easily drinkable though. The beer, that is, not the pee...
2.8 Muy ligera y refrescante sin nada de amargor perfecta para mezclary preparar bebidas
3.1 Considered the light version of the "working man’s Mexican beer". Has a very light and ultra clean flavor that actually serves better than regular Tecate on a scorcher of day where a frosty bottle is soooo good hitting the lips.
