Cask, Regular; A porter designed to be smooth and irresistible, Black is back, with a controlled roast character, hint of coffee with chocolate on the side followed by a depth charge of palate cleansing late American hops.

3.6Bière brune, goût fumé.
3.5Can. Dark brown with a cm of tan head that hangs around just a little while. Aroma is somewhat roasty with caramel, chocolate and hints of spices. A taste reveals some coffee too. Just medium bodied with chocolate and bread soon countered by light roast and firmish bitterness. Straightforward with clear flavours and nice balance.
3.6Can 33 cl, poured into a tulip glass. Pours pitch black with a small beige head and an aroma of burnt malts, salmiac, toffee, espresso, cocoa and vanilla. The taste is medium sweet with a medium bodys and a long lasting dry and roasty finish.
3.8Nothing out of the ordinary on one side, but a really nicely executed classic style on the other.
I really don't think there is anything to dislike about this beer.
Quite easy on the body, but with a strong alcoholic personality for such a mild ABV. Lovely aroma, really like the brown and fine head as well.
Perhaps balanced to be a little "less" rather than a little more, not that sweet, not that bitter, not that full, not that carbonated....but i enjoyed the subtleness of this beer nonetheless
4.0nice easy going porter. nothing special or fancy but certainly not bad!
3.3330 ml can, from the brewery webstore. ABV is 5.1%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate aroma of dark malts and dark chocolate. Light bodied. Medium dry flavour, notes of dark malts, dark chocolate and mild coffee, hints of prunes.
3.429/8/2020. Bottle from Beer52 as Tempest Elemental Dark Ale and shared at the Wroclaw GP bottle share. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, oats. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth texture though a little watery, average to soft carbonation.
3.0Zwart bier met beperkte beige schuimkraag.
koffie, mout, geroosterd met bittere afdronk
3.8Can at home, from the brewery, 19th June 2020. Pours a black beer. Aroma is cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, cocoa and dark chocolate, bitter and dry finish. Pretty good.
2.7Standard porter taste. Smokey and oak carmely. Pours dark black no head. It is a bit bubbly but as it is tempest its better than average
3.9Color negro, opaca. Textura acuosa y ligeramente oleosa. Carbonatación media media alta.
3.6Dark pitch with a fine khaki lid. Aroma saline, demarara, dark bocky loaf, hint of Twiglet and rust. Deep, chocolatey and full of grilled veg and rust. Malt loaf and iron filings. Burnt caramel. Really good.
3.3330ml bottle from Beer52. Deep and dark brown with a halo of beige head. Aroma is almost like a Dunkel; sweet malty and nutty notes, along with hints of cinnamon and allspice. Moderately sweet flavour, but not saccharine. Finish is grainy and dried fruit flavours.
3.5Bottle: Almost black, smaller creamy tanned head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of dark and toasted malt, caramel and traces of chocolate cake; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly no acidity, medium bodied and very soft; lingering and smooth sweet-bitter finish of dark and toasty malt and some coffee. A very nice drop...
3.5Drinkable not too strong
Jambes huileuses, assez longues.
Levure basique.
3.5Pours a pitch black / very dark ruby with a small porous head. Not getting much on the nose but dark malts with a hint of chocolate. Dark malts on the palate, goes down very smooth and balanced. Not very hoppy, but a good drinkable Porter.
3.6On tap @ wildcat , Birmingham malty ,toffee aftertaste not to cold a very nice beer
2.4Bottle, 330ml. A deep brown colour with a small tan head. A metallic, vaguely coffee aroma. Flavour has a little malt, barley notes, some chocolate as it warms up. Some clove notes in the finish. Moderate carbonation. Not very exciting.
3.5Advent calendar beer #13, pours near-black with a fast-settling tan foam and aromas of cocoa, coffee and a little cream. Roasty-sweet and plummy, with a burnt dry edge and hoppy bitterness. Very nice Porter, though I'm not sure I'd have pegged it as London-style.
3.1Dark tan head on pouring. Nut flavours, with a decent chocolate finish. Slightly carbonated on the tongue. Enjoyable.
3.0Porter niks bezonders
3.2Bottle shared at Monyo. Pours deep brown with beige head. Nose is low chocolate and toasted notes. Taste is light chocolate again, dark malts, toasted notes too. Light body, soft carbonation, goes down easily. Pretty thin altogether.
3.6Chocolate, roasty, moderately sweet, roasted malty taste. Medium to thin body. Not bad.
