Tempest Red Eye Flight

Tempest Red Eye Flight

“A red-eye flight is any flight departing late at night and arriving early the next morning. The term derives from the fatigue symptom of having red eyes, which can be caused or aggravated by late-night travel.”

Shake off and wake up with our powerful and rich mocha porter, Red Eye Flight. It starts with our rich and roasty blend of seven malts, before adding in high-quality organic cacao and finishing off with a cold-infusion of Three Hills Coffee’s Sumatran coffee beans, roasted exactly to our specification. Crack one open to unleash a waft of fresh ground coffee aroma, followed by a smooth mouthfeel, and creamy toffee, coffee acidity, and bitter cocoa nib flavour.

4.0 On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Pitch black with tan head. Roasty, malty, nice deep coffee taste, dark chocolate, strong bitterness in finish. Dense. Medium bodied.
4.0 On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina Zagreb. Black, small lasting beige head. Coffee intensely present. Caramel, toffee, light chocolate. Some fruit and alcohol underneath. Very serious coffee character, getting that woody, slightly roasty, dry coffee flavours, like freshly brewed coffee and not coffee beans. Chocolate with liquor. Bitter dark chocolate with dark cherries. Coffee present throughout. Lasting dry finish. Good balance, good drinkability. No bitterness here. Very appealing. Quite different than your usual coffee stout.
3.9 Pours a deep coffee black color with thick tan head. Coffee forward aroma. Cold brew and chocolate malt flavor, light to medium bodied. Notes: on tap at the Craft Beer Corner, Köln Apr ‘19
3.0 Bottle at a tasting. Aroma evocative of chillies or paprika. Taste as well. Lol I literally almost taste nothing else. No coffee, nor cocoa. Not really enjoyable, unbalanced and feeling weird. Average.

Medium koolzuurprikkel. Redelijk volmondig. Afdronk: bitterzoet, koffie. Lekker.
4.2 Kran w krakowskim House of Beer. Ciemne, ładna, trwała, ubita piana. Kawowe, palone, treściwe, alkoholowe w doznaniu. Jest chmiel, pełne.
3.7 Czarniutkie z brązową, niewysoką pianą. Wytrawny zapach kawy, czysty i przyjemny, trochę słodów palonych. W smaku jeszcze więcej kawy, wytrawnej do kwaskowej kawy.
Ottima.
4.2 A nice sweety dark beer with high percentage of alcohol. Really good choice for dark beer lovers.
4.0 My first porter. very rich and dark. 1 finger dark head. Mocha aroma. Strong stout
3.9 Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa Pours dark chocolate with quickly disappearing head. And aroma and taste? Coffee, coffee, coffee. It's like you are chewing coffee beans. Very good
2.9 On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media e persistente.
