5.0 Quite simply, the greatest
2.9 'Only sweet toothed plebs would find this drinkable.' See 3 reviews down. That made me laugh. I am certainly a happy enough peasant after drinking this one. Its a typical euro lager but with a bit more malt content and less watery than some. Its got a reasonable bitterness in the finish. Of course flavour wise its nothing special being malty, grainy and semi-sweet. Carbonation is done well here, one of the best for a macro lager I've had excluding Pils. Decent for this style although not a great beer overall.
2.4 Slightly lemony flavour means it’s not completely devoid of feature, despite having almost discernible aroma and a watery finish. Dull but not as bad as many macro lagers.
2.7 Golden color with a thin foam. Nose. Malt, sweetish. Weak fruit notes. Taste. The body is pleasant, soft carbonation. (Good) The taste is malt, reminiscent of American light camps on a richer one.) A pleasant Euro lager.
3.7 Kergelt mesine ja tsitruseline maitse.
5.0 The holy nectar. 10/10 all round
5.0 Tried this for the first time recently and fell in love. Perfect.
0.5 Absolute crap, tastes thin, watery and sweet. Only sweet toothed plebs would find this drinkable.
4.0 For a macro brew its certainly hard to beat. The mouthfeel, though initially reminiscent of grapefruit, takes on a more aggressive note with every sip. Upon consumption of the pint, the drinker is finally reminded of the note to which the colloquial glaschu toungue attributes to "the big juicy". "Rust". It doesn’t overpower the pallet with the boozy sting attributed to hoppier alternatives. Light in colour, heavy in personality.
4.7 The bouquet induces one to reminisce of fresh summer days as a youth spent frolicking gayly in a meadow. The flavour is unlike any beer produced by mortal men. Overflowing with juicy citrus notes, a refined generous hoppage and that smooth biscuit baseline it is know for the world over. All of this tied together by a buttery mouthfeel. This is truly the divine ambrosia of the gods. No other beer can match the serene grace of Tennent’s
2.4 From the moment the so-called ‘big juicy’ touched my lips, my taste buds were overwhelming by a symphony of disappointment. With a taste like piss and a head worthy of a flake, it was clear to me that this was not a quality brew. However, for a reasonable price and when a sesh is beckoning, the lure of a tennents is simply irresistible. Simply a cheap pint to get you wankered.
1.1 This has to be one of the worst lagers out there its pure piss water, it has a decent look of it and a decent price but that's as good as it gets... Toilet water may actually taste better than this desperate attempt of lager... If this was the last thing liquid available on earth I would rather suffer dehydration than have to taste this hideous Creation....
4.6 When you're rating a British pilsner style larger, the first to grace these Isles still acts as a great bar that all the others have to meet. One of Scotlands finest brewers produced this and its remained the same for 125+ years, being a reliable standard for all who know it well; As well you should if you've ever been short on cash and looking for a fine tipple, Tennents should be the only option. I would akin Tennents to Guinness Extra Stout in that while it's not the best beer in the Union (with Guinness not the best stout in Ireland) but it is definitely fantastic, refreshing and a great way to taste the palates of the masses of the past.
3.0 Easy drinking macro lager. Golden malt. Frothy head. light bittering. Not a bad macro brew. Nice mouthfeel.
2.0 500ml can from McColls, Jedburgh. Pale golden colour, white foamy head and aroma of corn syrup, malt, papery. Taste is sweet malty, corn grain with cardboard notes and some bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry cardboardy finish. A bland pale lager.
2.9 A clean golden yellow coloured pour with a a frorhy white head. Aroma is apple crisp, light braddy, grainy. Flavour is comoised is semi sweet. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, semi sweet. Mint, light tangy. Good., nice. Fine.
5.0 The best pint of liquid gold ever to reach the face of God's humble green earth. I won't lie to you, there is too much culture in this pint to have the audacity to claim its lack of viable taste as a negative implementation to the tipple that is a 'big juicy'. For me, Tennent's is a way of life; whenever you go to the pub the first thing you ask for is a Tennents, when you're on the continent all you look for is Tennents - in a way, it's a bit like God - with a much more violently passionate cult following.
1.4 Had this one in a pub in Glasgow, didn´t like the little taste it had. I wasn´t very fond of this at all.
5.0 Most satisfying lager ever! Has great after taste, served to perfection and nice glass
2.0 Not bad for a larger
2.3 Pours a golden color with white head. Light straw malt aroma and taste. Notes: can in Edinburgh, Jun ‘19
4.4 Good 🍺
1.6 Cheap beer énormément bu en écosse. pas beaucoup d'alcool très légère en goût rien de fou.
5.0 Quality light golden pint with a foam head. Very popular here in Scotland. My favourite beer by far.
1.6 Keg at the Manchester, Blackpool, in a plastic pint glass, no less. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is eggy corn and sweetcorn. Taste is cold water, card and corn.
Bastante comercial. Normal.
3.0 Nice lager simple and sweet
3.7 Light, smooth, little spicy, dry and good golden beer! 500 ml can. Drinkable
2.9 Molto beverina. Una buona lager un po' più amara delle classiche. Assaggiata ovunque da Glasgow dove viene prodotto ad Edimburgo.
