2.9 Weak blond beer. Unbalanced, grassy, a metallic note. Not very nice. ........
3.1 Fair Belgian blonde. Not overly rich or boozy. A little malt, a little sweetness. Very basic beer of style.
3.6 Nice pour from this 330ml bottle. Initial sips very positive. Full body with lovely soothing aromas of fruit and spices. Nice beer but I experienced a lingering bitter aftertaste that although wasnt awful enough to prevent me drinking another bottle it does reflect in my ratings.
3.3 0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka. Shared with Vran, Anna and others. Hazy pale golden, small off-white head. Nice spices, honey, cinnamon, cloves. Floral. Light phenolic, some plastic, cloves. Light sweetness, light malts. Slightly tart. Not bad.
3.3 Bottle, huge thanks Riba! As Nikola's Blond, distributed by Istarska Pivovara in Croatia. Golden, hazy body, huge fluffy white head, low retention, fizzy. Nice aroma, apricot, lemon, apple, spices, solid ester-phenol interplay. The taste though, subdued, dry, chalky, mild honey, vaguely peachy, some citrus, too. Meh, just feels too subdued and blunted. Shame.
3.8 the aroma is malty and fruity with hints of apple, grain, hay, yeast and some herbs... the taste is malty and fruity with notes of grain, straw, apple, plum and some grasses... smooth hoppy bitterness... sweet, bitter and dry aftertaste...
Dommage.
3.1 Brilliant white fluffy head stayed on a hazy golden body. Minimal floral aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated with a cloying back. Delicate fruity tastes with a tangy finish.
2.7 33 cl bottle @ CP Erperheide. Golden colour, minimal white head. Sweet, fruity and herbal aroma. Taste is sweet with a slight hoppy bitterness. Body could be a bit stronger.
3.3 Sweet aroma, yeasty, sugary, some fruit, light banana. Cloudy yellow color with medium sized white head. Sweet taste, similar to the aroma. Sweet banana and spices yeasty. Thin to medium body, average to high carbonation. Not bad. //bottle as Ter Dolen Nikola's Blond
3.8 Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier met matig wit schuim. Aroma van sinaasappel en limoen. Smaak is fruitig en sprankelend. Jammer dat de smaak snel weg trekt.
3.0 Clear golden, huge white froth. Yeasty, fruity aroma. Sweet malty and slightly yeasty flavour. A little fruity.
3.2 18 April 2018. Bottle at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant, Ghent. Shared with Anke. Pours hazy golden with a small, lasting, frothy, white head; lacing. The aroma contains yeast, faint banana & pineapple, some iron, spices, (white) bread. It tastes medium hoppy/spicy bitter, yeasty notes, and light malty/bready sweet; dry, hoppy, yeasty finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Quenching, correct.
3.2 On tap @ GBBF Winter. Hazy golden with a small white head head. Fruity and spicy tones. Fruit, malt, spice and hops. Medium body with a bitter / spicy finish.
2.9 Bottled 330ml. -from Roto Promet Karlovac as Ter Dolen Nikola's Blond. Unclear dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, light honey in the nose. Moderate malty, slightly fruity and yeasty with touch of spices. Dry finish.
3.9 Bottled. Pours misty gold with creamy white head. Pretty laces. Aroma: spicy yeast as expected, pale malts, some fruit. medium body. Soft carbonation. Light sweet taste. Malty, spicy. Apple seeds, pear. Drier ending with light hop bitterness. Nice balance. Overall: A very good Belgian blond. Absolutely underrated imo.
Ok
2.8 Robe blonde dorée, limpide, fine mousse blanche. nez caramel, malt, levure. Bouche sucré et candi, caramel, levure. Corps moyen, alcool oyen, longueur moyenne.
3.2 Bottled @ Belgo Baren, Stockholm. Slightly hazy golden, small white head, no lacing. Mild yeasty and fruity aroma, bubblegum and apricot. Smooth, fairly crisp and clean mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Taste follow the aroma, bubblegum yeasty, fruity, bread and hay. Mild bitter finish. Easy going.
3.2 Bottle @ home. Looks amber and somewhat cloudy with high carbo and medium white head. Smell is quite yeasty with some hints of sweet caramel in there. Taste is also yeasty and sweet, with a somewhat bitter and herby aftertaste. Overall, just another solid beer that I’d happily drink again.
2.9 330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden with a white head. The aroma is lightly malty and hoppy with some flowery notes. Medium body with a medium carbonation a light to medium bitterness and a very light sweetness. The flavor starts malty, with sweet grains some caramel, fudge, cloves and a bitter hoppy finish.
3.1 33cl bottle. Almost clear golden with a finger of white head. Malty and sweet aroma. High carbonated. Overall, nice beer.
2.9 33cl bottle. Cloudy yellow with medium big head. Aroma is pilsner malts, watered down honey, apricot, banana, wet laundry, sugar, sponge cake. Strong carbonation , soft and fluffy mouth feel. The beer is mostly sweet grains like some little layer of honey on a bread. A bit white wine acidity there too. Very little bitter finish that is overwhelmed by acidity.
3.3 Nothing bad to say about that one as it offers the typical aroma I would expect. Some vanilla combined with a decent hoppy background and yeast mixed with a bit of sugar and caramel. Quaffy, easy to drink - good one.
3.7 Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Ter Dolen Blond. ABV is 6.1%. Pale golden colour, white head. Yeasty and slightly spicy aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. Yeasty, but not too much. Not too sweet, slightly spicy. Nice one.
3.5 Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 12.05.15. Pale and almost clear golden. White head and lacing. Fine aroma of meadows, birch and green banana. Similar taste, with papaya, pineapple and medium bitterness lingering on.
