Cloudy gold. Moderate white head. Nose: fruity yeast, banana, light perfume, dried fruit, some malts, spiciness. Similar taste. Relatively dry. Light ending bitterness. Good tripel.
A very nice triple
0.33 l bottle. Thanks Vran! Shared with Anna God, him and others. Hazy golden to amber, small off-white head. Spicy phenols, some zest, malts and light molasses. Malts, spices, alcohol. Sticky, moderate body, soft carbonation, light finish with a fruity yeasty touch.
Bottle @ home. Giallo ambrato limpido schiuma beige fine e persistente. Aroma intenso fruttato albicocca lievito belga zucchero candito zenzero pane appena sfornato speziata cardamomo. Gusto amabile acidulo fruttato albicocca secca, vaniglia, leggermente agrumata speziata poco amara. Mediamente corposa carbonatazione intensa calda lievemente spigolosa perfettamente equilibrata ed armonica.
the aroma is malty and fruity with hints of apple, white wine, citrus and some herbs... the taste is fruity and herbal with notes of sweet citrus, dry wine, apple, candy and some grasses... sweet, bitter and dry aftertaste...
Hay orange beer with thick lasting head. Nose is nice, malts, some hop, candy sugar. Taste is rather sweet, not so spicy. It's a nice Tripel but not really exciting.

A golden beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has generic frutiness, also some dried fruits with apricot, sweetness of honey, hint of spices. Taste has fruitness, drying spicyness that's needed, as there are some sweetness left. Medium+ bodied, high carbonation is needed. Fruitness is dominating, maybe untypical Tripel but as a beer, very nice.

Prima tripel met een aangename frisse geur en aroma van Belgische gist. Tarweachtig, wat gist en zuidvruchten en hooi en hop.
As Ter Dolen Nikola's Tripel. Clear orange color with small white head. Malty and spicy aroma. Sweet and light sour taste.
Pours hazy dark yellow with a small, foamy, off-white head. The aroma contains ripe peach, pear & banana, yeast, hops & spices, some honey. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light spicy bitter; the finish is yeasty, not too dry, with a lingering fruitiness. Medium to full body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. A 'modest' Tripel.
Clear, golden colored, medium frothy white head. Aroma is of malt, some brewing sugar, bit spicy yeasty, some fruit, not that strong. Taste is medium sweet malt, some brewing sugar, bit fruity, spicy Belgian yeast, bit perfumey, spicy medium bitterness, dryish finish. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, bit oily. Some cardboard notes throughout aroma and flavor... not amazed.

33 cl. bottle from Carrefour, Hasselt. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, fruit, spice, citrus, alcohol, sweetness, hops and caramel.
Cloudy amber pour. Sweet cherry and spice aroma. Fruity with dry finish. Not bad
zoete mout, licht gistig, rozijn, beetje alcohol, wat esthers... zoet estherig met lichte fijne bubbel... estherige afdronk
Belle couleur blonde, mousse soyeuse et persistante. Bulles très fines. Au niveau du nez je dirai que cà sent bien le malt et une légère amertume, rien de conséquent, une belle notion de fruit sur les agrumes le tout sucré. En bouche la carbonatation est un rien trop douce à mon gout, mais elle plaira a certains. au niveau du palais, on sent très bien le malt, mais c'est un peu trop sucré à mon goût. Les agrumes sont présents aussi mais le sucre et une sensation de forte sécheresse viennent gâcher le tout. On est sur un coté fruité malté intéressant qd meme. Cà reste sympa à boire mais malheureusement cette sécheresse fait que votre langue se rétracte et cà j'aime pas. Si on boit une bière c'est pour etre désaltéré pas pour avoir soif après. :/ Dommage.

AROMAT : Srednio intensywny. Fenole (gozdziki) i lekki cytrus. W tle nuty karmelu.
SMAK : Wytrawne. Rzeskie. Cytrusowo-fenolowo-slodowe. Wysokie nasycenie. Dobrze wkomponowany alkohol.
WYGLAD : Barwa zlocista, zamglone. Piana wysoka, drobno i srednio pecherzykowa, nietrwala.
OGÓLNIE : Musze przyznac, ze jest to calkiem spoko piwo. Oczywiscie jak na styl.
Très bonne bière, bon goût fruité et qui se boit facilement. Peu amère et qui est agréable à savourer
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear copper to orange with a small and fading white head and an aroma of syrup, orange, alcohol, peach and some bitter hops. The taste is heavy sweet with some alcohol and a bitter finish. Way too sweet for me
Off white creamy head stayed on a finely carbonated, translucent golden body.
Spices, sweet citrus, yeast & orange aromas.
Medium bodied, prickly on the palate, crisp and a very slightly cloying yet dry aft.

Falls flat quickly. Oranges and bread in the smell. Ok-ish beer, although it feels a little like a pilsner mixed with a tripel. A bit plain. Oranges, wheat, some spicy notes, coriander.
Bouteille de33cl. Couleur dorée légèrement cuivrée, mousse moyenne detenue assez faible. Des arômes fruités : pêches, melons, une pointe de caramel. Un peu collante au palais. Trouvée à Vanuxeem - Ploegstaert.
Triple en bière d’abbaye reconnue .. ce qui est une responsabilité !!
Mon exemplaire était à quasiment 3 ans après sa date, et aurait pu s’améliorer .. Il y a peu de chance
que ce soit le cas au final !! Niveau abv de 8,1%, pour 17,9° plato.
Couleur ambre cuivré à la clarté nette.
Bulles fines, partout, nombreuses, à montée lente.
Mousse beige, crémeuse, stable à 2 mm.
Arômes de caramel, candi, cannelle, le tout dans une formule un peu sirupeuse …
1ère bouche très souple, à l’entame fruits mûrs/malt/levure.
Arrière-bouche caramélisée.
2ème beaucoup moins équilibrée.
Arrière-bouche avec des pointes métalliques.
3ème très caramélisée, avec une pointe de muscade.
Arrière-bouche assez vague.
Longueur confuse, imprécise, sans harmonie.
Jambes huileuses, collantes.
Levure terreuse, ligne basique.
Alcool correct, mais ne maîtrise pas le sujet.
Finale quelconque.
CONCLUSION : pas du tout une triple pour moi, une amber ale assez passe-partout, mais
au vieillissement absolument confus, voire fautif par ses côtés métalliques … Donc pour la belle triple d’abbaye, on cherchera ailleurs !!
Une triple classique à la robe blonde, à la mousse crémeuse, au nez fruité et malté sur un fond de levures et à la bouche à la fois ample, fraîche et fruitée. Belle bière.

Zacht zoete tripel met hinten van sinaasappel en licht bittere nasmaak. Way mij betreft een uitstekende tripel.
Clear, dark golden. Fluffy, offwhite head. Malty, spicy aroma. Flavour starts off sweet with yeast and spice. Light malty notes, some orange and warming alcohol. Nice.
