4.2 Great beer, surprisingly tasteful, quite well-balanced. I like the unfiltered spin of it.
4.0 Can: This one pours a hazy golden color. There was a white head that leaves some lacing. Nice nose of lots of hops. Citrus, tropical fruits and pine. The taste is very good. Just a bit of bitterness and a little sweetness to it. A good blend of hops.
3.7 Can. Aroma of light citrus, resin, light herbal. Hazy orange with white head. Taste is moderate bitter, resin, light orange, light sweet. medium body, smooth feel and bitter finish.
4.8 Can thaks to Harri. You know what I like. Pours hazy yellow/pale orange with nice white head. Aroma: tropical fruits, pine, citruses. Taste: the same, hard bitter with some balancing sweat notes, resin. Bitter ending. Thats the kind on (D)IPA I like. Don`t drink it if you like the sweat stuff. Its like chewing pine brunch what is dipped in citrus jam or something. Excellent.
4.0 455 ml can from Mikkeller Beer Club. Hazy golden with white head. Fruity, tropical, juicy with stone fruit and caramel. Semi dry with medium bitterness and medium carbonation.
3.9 US pint can. Thanks, Juks! Pours pale golden yellow colour. Thin white head. Very juicy aroma - pineapple, sweeter peach, lots of citrusses and some other tropical fruits in the aroma. Tangerines and pineapple at first. Slight sweetness and tangerines in the middle. Citrusses and lots of hop character in the end. Bitter and dry too. Very fruity and long aftertaste. Blood orange and apricots. Crisp and slightly spicy palate. Nice brew.
3.9 Pale to cloudy deep golden pour with a decent soapy head and light lacing .... aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, dank hops, mango and some tropical notes, with floral hops as well .... taste is dank, some floral hops, bitter dry hops, pine, grapefruit, orange and mango .... some tropical notes and sugary but not too noticeable ..... finish is very dry and bitter hopped with lingering pine, grapefruit, mango and orange .... slick and oily mouthfeel .... very sessionable
3.7 Can at home. Pours hazy orange, nose is sherbert, citrus, mango, taste is juicy, grassy, pine, little herbal.
God, men nästan i mäktigaste laget.
4.1 Can. Hazy orange pour, small somewhat frothy head. Nice and floral nose, hints of grape. Taste is crisp, very floral and a slight note of citrus. Loooong bitter finish, average carbonation.
3.1 Can (thanks Juks). Cloudy dark amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Sweet, fruity, harsh rubbery citrusy hops in aroma and in taste. Alcohol is covered I think. Drinkable brew.
4.2 Cloudy yellow pour with a fine head. Decent lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks nice and inviting. Lovely hoppy aroma with a fine intensity. Nose sex. Pleasant mellow carbonation level. Easy to drink. Smooth texture. Fine lasting hoppy tail. Grapefruit/citric hoppy, fruity and pine in the flavor. Lovely tasty and very session able stuff. Dangerous.... [Can from Mr EGO Christer]
4.1 US pint can. Clear golden colour, sticky bright white head. Aroma is very hoppy, fresh green hops, earthy. Taste is hoppy, slightly tart, green fresh hops, citrussy, buttery. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite well covered alcohol. Very nice extremely overhopped ipa. I really enjoy it
3.9 Cloudy, copper colour with a frothy light tan head. Fresh tropical aroma, piney hops, citrus, malts. Heavy, hoppy bitterness, malty, light sweet finish. Medium body, low medium carbonation, soft mouthfeel.
5.0 Can at home bought from mikkeller's website via the mikkeller beer club. Poured hazy and couldn't taste the alcohol. Wasn't expecting to taste pine and bitterness in this beer but you really do taste it. Lovely beer
3.9 Very nice, bitter DIPA. aromas are more piny and grassy. Quite bitter in taste, but not very much.
3.5 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Can 47 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium to medium-low hop aroma with a pine and resin character. starting to show faint oxidative notes. medium-low background of a neutral-sweet malt character with a medium-low alcohol presence. APPEARANCE: gold color and hazy. medium moussy white head with good retention. leg formation. TASTE: medium to medium-low hop flavor with pine and resin characteristics. medium malt presence (neutral malty and slightly sweet). high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish that lasts. PALATE: medium body with a smooth texture. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a DIPA without much hop complexity, maybe from the time on the can.
4.3 Can from Mikkeller. Decent, small ehite hrad that stays long enough on an unclear, amberish gold body. Floral hops, super ripe mango, thick whey-like passion fruit, floral notes, pine needles. Super round. Starts lightly sweet, turns surprisingly tart and zesty which adds lightness, medium bitterness. Medium, thick body with small pearly carbonation. Quite delicious and by now means indicative of it's strength. Super well balanced, not caring about trends but only about drinkability. Top notch.
4.0 Sample courtesy of Sander, big thanks. orange rather hazy color, small white head. smells pine, dank, lychee, passion fruit, bit earthy, lightly citric. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, lychee, passion fruit, some oats, bit leathery, pines. finishes rather bitter with notes of lychee, oats and light leathery notes. very nice one, taste is rather on the bitter side but overall still quite good to drink.
4.2 Can from Mikkeller web shop. Hazy orange with a massive white head. Malty, biscuits, plenty of citrus, orange zest, grapefruit, resinous, piney, herbal, dry, very good.
4.0 Can @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Pours hazy deep orange with a creamy white head. Big tangerine, orange and tropical notes. Piney bitterness. Smooth and very dry and bitter finish. Green and herbal dank. Dope.
3.8 Can, mikkeller online . Golden .. hazy. Clean fruity nowe. Grapefruits, some green pine, green citeus... Med bodied, smooth, clean, really easy, slight hop residuey finish real nice, fruity easy packing a punch..
4.0 0.473l can@: canbed 11/5/18: WC dipa brewed in NE manner~Citrus, pine, floral, slightly grassy hop profile~high hop bitterness~smooth~classique.
4.5 Beautiful white head. Really hoppy with intense pine and grapefruit aromas. Perfect example of a really well balanced double IPA.
4.1 47,3cl Can @ Mikkeller Webshop, Copenhagen, Denmark. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, tropical fruits, pine. Taste is hops, citrus, grapefruit, mango, resin. Medium body, average carbonation.
4.0 16oz can at home (trade from CT). Hazy golden orange pour with a full white head that drops to a lasting thin cover. Aroma and flavors are big, fresh citrus and tropical fruit - orange, mango, tangerine, lemon and lime with a hint of grapefruit. Medium resin, dry citrusy and grassy hops and enough bready malt to keep it balanced. Soft carb and texture. Alcohol is there but not out of place. Citrusy, bitter finish goes on for days. This is seriously good, and seriously hard to put down.
4.0 Can. Cloudy golden pour. Big tropical fruit nose, orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, notes of resinous pine too. Huge juicy flavor, with pine resins and tropical fruit, citrus. Lovely.
4.1 Where and how: on tap @ brewery Aroma dunky with notes of lemongrass and citrus fruit and herbs. Rich, smooth, very nice. Appearance : Top: medium plus white top. Base: cloudy amber gold. Palate : medium plus bodied, soft all across. Long finish. Taste: as in aroma, just add raw greens. very intense and satisfying. Thankfully not going overboard. World class.
