The Crafty Brewing Company Irish Red Ale

The Crafty Brewing Company Irish Red Ale

This full flavored ale has a slightly sweet and fruity aroma with a dash of roast. The single aroma hop comes through in the taste and like any gentleman leaves a great lasting impression.

3.5 Ruby red Heady aroma, fruity berries, malty. Cherryade, berries, sweet, malty, nutty, refreshingly fruity. Bitter dry aftertaste. Creamy mouth feel, soft carbonation. Nice! Plenty of taste for 4,1%. One to savour. Lidl Germany British Ales box. Irish beer is British? Tell them that!
3.2 Bottle 0,50L. Courtesy of Marjan and Irena. Clear dark red color with thin, frothy, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt and nuts. Taste is light sweet and caramely, finish is light to medium bitter and nutty. Light body with lively carbonation makes it very drinkable. Light, malty and hoppy.
3.6 Surprisingly light initial flavour. Burgundy colour, murky, small beige top, low to average carbonation. Sweet well toasted caramel malty aroma with bread, grains, bread, light dark fruit, medium bitterness. Malty finish.

2.9 Botella 500ml de LIDL. Color rojizo cobrizo, transparente, espuma beige, fina, alta, retencion media. Aroma malta, malta tostada, caramelo, frutal.
3.3 Bottle shared, darker amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, bitter, sweet, slight metalic, meh ok
3.0 Bottled 500ml (Lidl Suomi) Red colour, small beige head. Fruity caramel, quite sweet aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish, caramalt, a bit nutty flavour. Very typical Irish Red Ale. Ok.
2.3 Aussehen: sattes kräftiges klares Rot, bräunliche mixporige semistabile krone, kaum carbonisiert Aroma: dezente röst malz note, dunkles Brot, untypisch schwach Antrunk: Midtrunk: leicht herb (orangenschale), röst aromen, Abgang: röst bitter, Mundgefühl: untypisch schwach und unausgewogen, kein öliges Mundgefühl Sehr entäuschend hätte mich gerade auf ein schönes sattes Red Ale gefreut.
3.3 Bottle at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, caramel... simple but surprisingly tasty.
3.0 Tapados keserű, szép habbal. Nem szűretlen. Édes
2.2 Recht dunkle Farbe, gegen das Licht gehalten tatsächlich rötlich. Süßlicher Geruch, Malz, etwas Traubensaft. Geschmack: Röstmalzig, röstig bitter, nochmal süßer Traubensaft. Ein bisschen süßstoffartig. Für nur 4,1 % Alk. relativ dicht. Recht rauer Nachgeschmack.
3.4 A: Mahogany, murky looking, medium sized tanned head which disappeared fairly quickly, left some lacing. S: Malty, sugar beet. T: Raspberry, malt, semi dark chocolate. M: Low carbonation, medium to thick texture, smooth enough. O: An OK take on a red ale, sessionable, would be nice to drink by the fire in a pub on a cold day.
3.5 Bottle from German Lidl, rich red-brown with a tan foam, malty-sweet and smooth, lightly nutty, woody and fruity, very nice.

3.5 0.5 l bottle from Lidl (in the center of Helsinki). Sweet caramel malts no sign of rosted malts. Quite nice and easy to drink.
3.2 Copenhagen 12/3 2021. 50 cl bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Deep red - almost burgundy - label with a free-flying mustache getting pinched by an hand. Pours almost clear dark amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium intense wire a sweet, malty odor mingling with roasted notes. Caramel, biscuit and hints of brown sugar. Roasted malts. Medium carbonation. slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is toasted. Decent if somewhat generic Red Ale.
