3.7Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a white head. Aroma grapefruit, pine, tropical fruits, a bit dusty. Sweet stonefruits, citrus, pine, a bit of grass, some sweet malty quailities - bready caramel. Light bitter and light dry finish.
4.0Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops with juicy citrus, orange, tropical fruits, grapefruit, passion fruit, some malt and pine. Light sweet with a solid bitter flavour. Body is medium. Damn good IPA from The Kernel, firm in hop and flavour!
3.3Bottle, 6.8%. Cloudy orange, low offwhite cream. Peach, lychee and lemon hard candy hop aroma. Medium to light body, a bit fizzy, dry resinny hops on the palate, hayish and fruity base, astringent bitterhop notes, slightly cheesy in the finish. Grassy and herbal retronasal.
3.6Bottle, bottled 24.1.2018, 6.8%. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is bready, yeasts, dusty malts. Taste is passion fruit, mango, bready, dusty malts again, biscuity, zezty, bitter finish with a bit of pepper in the back. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very good character, but too much yeast cake for me, despite the fact that I poured very gently and left the sediment in the bottle.
3.8100 ml taster from bottle, bottled 24.1.2017 at Werckmeister's place, courtesy of Werckmeister, many thanks! Slightly hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy with ripe sweetish fruits (peach, mango, some orange). Medium to medium-full body with a light sweetness and a medium bitterness. The flavor is again full of ripe fruits (mango, peach, papaya, orange, grapefruit, lychee) along with sweetish malt (biscuit). Finishes with a hoppy bitterness, resinous and hints of alcohol.

4.0Optisch nicht so der Kracher. Irgendwie ein bisschen gräulich, wie so viele Kernel Ales. Dafür duftet es fantastisch. Tropical in Richtung Papaya, Litschi & Mandarine. Später noch mit einem Lupulinflash. Cool. BREWCOMER KIEL. 6,8%. AGAIN: Tap Edition.7/4/8/4/17 Funky, juicy & sourhoppy. Wheatflair, Pampelmusenspirit & IntenseHoneyHarzFinish. Also für jeden was dabei 👌😉...Erhebliche Unterschiede zur Buddelversion!! Interessant 😎... BEYOND BEER HH.
4.2Tap at 6dN Aberdeen. Looks deep hazy peachy gold with a tall fluffy white head. It simply looks amazing. Aromas have lots of citrus fruit, sweet mandarin with a light, fresh leafy finish. Flavours have a light lemony front, a dry straw middle and a leafy green bitterness that lingers. It feels medium rather than the full body I expected with a sharp, moderate carbonation. Everything feels like it was made for maximum refreshment and drinkability. Yet another superb IPA from the Kernel. The whole spectrum of IPA goodness of covered from sweet fruit through dry grain and fresh, damp leaf.
3.6On tap at the Grove, Huddersfield. Pours hazy orange with medium white head. Moderate hoppiness, citrus, some tropical fruit, malty, some ripe fruit, sweetish. Moderate bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.
3.7ładny miks chmielny, zmętniony, treściwy, goryczkowy, poważny, dla miłośników bezkompromisowego ipa pozycja obowiązkowa, jak większość Kerneli, po prostu.
3.8Keg qt Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Resin and grass. A hazyvelement to the aroma. Some initial juicy floral. Gold. Slightly hazy. Thin but creamy white head. Light bitter. Juicy citrus core. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. low key finish. Good shit. JUICE.
4.0Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Yellow/gold pour with a white head. Apricot, mango and peach aroma. Bags of sweet fruit in the flavour, lots of mango, apricot, tangerine. Very nice indeed.
3.5Bottle. Classic Kernel IPA, lots of citrus, some oranges, zest, grapefruit notes backed by solid bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.
4.2Over the years as my tastes in beers have changed and developed, I’ve taken a backseat with the big new world hop IPAs and pale ales. However, every now and again I pick up a Kernel or two. Very glad I did with this. Bottle from The Kernel. Pours rich looking rusty orange amber, slight haze. There’s some bits of stuff in it. Minerally deposits and yeast. Nose is big citrus, orange and grapefruit fruit and peel, fizzy orange pop, orange sherbert, earthiness, some tropical fruit, pine. Taste is big fruit citrus orange and grapfruit with the orange fizzy pop thing going on. Sweet orange fruit and grapefruit peel bitterness with pine and minerals, earthiness. Fruit in this is so fresh. Superb beer. Wish it was a regular.
3.8From notes. Bottle at home, pretty malty for a Kernel, tropical notes, citrus, light yeasty feel. Nice;
4.06.9%, top class west coast IPA. Four great hops, work together to give a big fruity punch. Nice subtle sweet malt backbone.
3.9December 3, 2016. Bottle at home, bottled Nocember 1, 2016.

Taste is light sweet, fruity, smooth medium bitterness. Medium bodied, average small bubble carbonation, rounded mouthfeel. Finish is smooth, slightly dry grassy, piney, zesty and slight greenish vegetal bitter, light sweetness with some mango, tangerine and grain.

3.6Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy golden body with a small white head. Tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, hops, sweetness, alcohol notes. Expected a bit more from this. Still good though.
4.133cl bottled 02/06/16, Geers. - Juicy classic c-hop oils both freshly doused and boiled down into a citrus peel and wet pine astringency accomodated by a pillowy-smooth light English ale body. - Fresh passionfruit, pineapple and sweet lime aroma smell like they have real fruity substance opposed to the airfreshener category of PoMo IPAs. Tight even taut citric and resinous flavours offer a more advanced take on the international West Coast IPA, coating hop oil juiciness with pith resins. Clean and on point, with a bit of a subtle malt surplus.
3.8Pours murky Kernel amber (eg dirty peach) with low white head. Aroma of mango, passion fruit, pine, orange and tangerine. Taste is mellow fruit sweet with a light bitter finish. Not as through and through sweet as some of the recent Kernel IPAs have been. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation.
3.9Bottle from Oddbins in London Bridge, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, peach, orange, pineapple aroma. Tastes the same, hoppy, peach, orange, pineapple, rich tropical fruit, quite sweet but very nice indeed. Top draw as usual from the Kernel.
3.7Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy orange, nose is orange, pineapple, mango, taste is juicy fruit, sweet, dry.
3.9Keg at Salt horse. Pours hazy pale golden. Nose is fruits, grass, citrus. Tastes fresh hops, grass, citrus, bitter finish. Tasty.

TASTE: hoppy, fruity, pine, florar
4.1Tap at Kaapse Brouwers Anniversary 2015. Skunk ananas perenijs ipa. Backlog from 2015/05/30.
3.8(On tap @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Nov 2 2015) Pours lightly hazy med orange with moderate white head and lace. Aroma of tangerine, peach, light grapefruit peel, bit of lemon and pine needles as well, some light caramel malt sweetness. Flavour lead by citrusy hops, orange most prominent, with a fair bit of peel/pith to match the fruit. Some peach/mango components, grass and pine needles. A bit of a sweet malt core, caramel present but not too strong. Finish medium bitter with lots of orange peel, pith, grass and light pine, a little astringent. Medium bodied with average, active carbonation. A bit jumbled from the hop mix I thought, but still pretty good balance and juiciness. Good IPA.
3.6Hazy deep golden color with a fine white head. Rich ale as usual. Pine, toffee, dried fruits and grapefruit hoppy. Solid stuff. Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and a bitterness that quite note balanced the sweetness. Still a nice powerful IPA.
