2.5 Aroma : Tiny bit of sweet caramel malt, light floral/citrus/grassy hoppiness. Taste : Light drying citric touch and with a slight mineral note. O.K. even if flavours a little understated
3.7 A great table beer! I would have added a spice or increased perception of body. The nice hoppy character makes this a satisfying beer.
3.6 Draft at Mikkeller London. Hazy yellow. Fresh fruity and piney hops aromas. Sweetish, fruity, grassy bitter hops, dry finish. Light-bodied, smooth. Nice.
3.2 Bought in Ghost Whale, Brixton. Very cloudy, honey yellow with a thick white head that persists . Citrus aroma, pineapple sweet, and a marked citrus taste too, with lingering bitterness. Well carbonated - frothy and airy. I like the unassuming title - and the beer looks like it belongs on a picnic table alongside a cheese plate and crusty bread. Low alcohol at 2.6%. An everyday drinker
3.7 Bottle (330ml, ABV 3.2%). Golden pour, slight haze, good sized white head. Aromas of biscuit malts, citrus fruits, mild grassy notes. Quite flavoursome and full bodied for such a low alcohol beer. Zesty citrusy finish. Credit to brewers for this mid-week/lunchtime marvel!
3.2 Keg at We Brought Beer, Tooting. Lightly hazy pale golden with a big white head. Aroma of straw, minerals, peaches and soft fruit. Easy drinking with a decent body for the ABV.
3.2 2.9 on tap chiara velata poco intensa leggero citrico amaro contenuto nulla di che ma non cattiva
4.1 Keg. Nose is orange, mineral, herbal, honey, citrus. Taste is orange, citrus, hint of lime, mineral, touch of resin, malty. Bone dry. Delicious very well balanced lunch beer.
2.0 GBBF, 7th Aug 2019, on-tap. Slight haze to the light golden body, wispy white head. Not too sure why people 'bang on' about The Kernel beers, this was just a bog standard table beer with very little going on aroma or flavour wise, a few hops hanging around maybe, handy for washing my glass out though, saved me using any water.
3.6 Tap at Mother Kelly’s, 22nd July 19. Pours a light golden. Light floral aroma, light citrus. Taste is clean and refreshing, citrus. Easy to down in the heat.
3.5 On tap at TCBW 2019. Pours golden yellow colour. White head. Pleasently fruity aroma. Dry palate. Dryness and minerality at first. Taste reminds aged hops. Some fruitiness too. Easy drinkable, simple brew.
3.6 TCBW19. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is fruity, slightly citrussy, hoppy. Taste is malty, crisp, hoppy. Light body, high carbonation. Very nice
3.2 Tap.Muddy yellow colour with small head.Aroma is light and hoppy with note of citrus and grass mild crispy finish.
3.4 Tap at TCBW 2019. Pours yellow-golden. Aroma and flavor are dry, fruity, sweaty-hoppy. Body is thin. Overall: ok.
3.1 On keg at the Hanging Bat. This one is 3.1%. Appearance - orange with a slight haze. Neat lacing. Nose - a bit dirty funky yeasty up front. Pineapple on the turn. Taste - light orange but dominated by biscuit. Palate - light bodied, crunchy in texture. Dry finish. Overall - ok.
4.0 Hoppy,green,peas
3.6 Weak aroma of pale malt, citrus and tangerine. Thin body and avg carbonation. Taste is citrus and pale malt.
3.3 Tap at Frisches Bier. Cloudy neon yellow. Fluffy white head. Pineapple Dank and lychee hop notes, medium light body, grainy cheeiness, light mealy, pleasant herbal and citric finish.
4.0 Bottle from wine shop in Stoke Newington. Hazy colour. Beautiful bitter juicy hopped ale. Remarkable beer for 3%. Why cant we get this in ICA at home :-(
4.0 500ml bottle from Oddbins. Best Before 27.01.19. Hops listed on bottle as Simcoe and Bramling Cross. Drank cold and from pint glass. Very different taste, aroma to the last I tried over the summer. Which I remember being very Mango dominated. Aroma was citrusy, s bit of mango, grapefruit, hops. Hazy and yellow in glass, well carbonated, small head that disappears quickly. No mango in the taste this time, but grapefruit and a hint of pineapple. The similar to what I remember Lilt tasting like. Bitter aftertaste. My main criticism is that the mouthfeel is watery, but for a low ABV it’s still good. Highly recommend, and if you do drink it... Drink it as fresh as possible!
4.0 Fles, 2,7% amarillo hops. Van een tafelbier verwacht je niet dat de smaak zo sterk is. Dit tafelbier is krachtig, geurig en voortreffelijk. IPA. Heel licht van kleur. Citrus.
4.0 On tap at EST during Brighton & Hove Beer Week. Straw colour with grapefruit aroma. Bitter grapefruit taste. Light and refreshing.
3.2 On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild citrusy flowery nose. Citrusy, light flowery, mild touch of passionfruit and grass with watery palate of course. Drinkable, not bad but I don't see real purpose of this.
3.7 Draught at Brewskival 2018. Shady golden. Bready malt with tropical fruit hops. Dry, medium bitterness.
3.2 Strong flowery aroma, honey, lemon, malt in the background, light bread. Hazy yellow color with small sized white head. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, heavy lemon, some bread and very mild grass. Thin body, watery, no wonder with this ABV, average carbonation. One of the best low ABV beers i had, no wet socks, no off flavors. Nice. //tap at Craft Room
3.5 3.1% Keg at Bayley’s of Bromsgrove. Hazy pour with lasting head. Taste is juicy fruity; apricot, peach a with grapefruit citrus bitterness in the finish. Unbelievable taste and mouthfeel for such low ABV. Superb. Oct2018 bottle 2.9% eldorado & Amarillo hops. Juicy yet bitter, not watery or thin. Great again.
3.8 Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 10.07.18. 3,0 % ABV with Citra and Centennial. Translucent pale lime colour. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of lemon, lime, meadows, sorrel and mint. Medium bitterness. Good mouthfeel for such a low ABV. Very quaffable.
3.3 Little head and clear gold body. Soft hops aroma, rather floral. Flavour is crisp floral hops, hints of peach and apricot, with a dry finish. Amazing low alcohol brew and not at all like the Belgian originals it calls itself after.
