A beautiful golden-hued brew in the pale ale style. The lightest of our beers, it includes a nice hop flavor and all pale malts.
[Note: this beer doesn’t have Bells in front of the name by explicit request from the brewer.]

2.8Bottle shared. Pale yellow, white hops. Yeast, green hops, generic bitterness. Dry.
3.4straw yellow with a small white head. light malty aroma, light lemon. taste light bitter light sweet. medium bodied, average carbonation.
3.2From bottle. Pours a hazy light orange with only a hint of white head. Aroma and taste of pine with some citrus. Strongly bitter with a bitter finish.
3.0Flaske. Hjemme under madlavningen som denne lysegule med et stænk orange øl passer glimrende til. Der er ikke så meget mere til den. Standard let citrus. Quaffable men ikke mere end det.
3.8Bottle at home. Pours a clearish golden with a white head. Crispy dryness with a mellow sweetness. Aromas of very grassy hopsprofile with citrus fruits. Also malty notes of hay. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Long and quite bitter finish.
3.5bottle. Poured hazy gold with sediment and a frothy off-white head. Nice malt aroma, slight citrus. Light body, creamy carbonation with a crisp tart finish. Grainy malt flavour, hay-ish with some piney hops.
2.7Pale yellow, crisp and refreshing, like buttery corn with herbs. All around okay, but not remarkable.
2.7Bottled. Rather average. Malty aroma low carbonation. Hazy golden. Drinkable.

2.8From a bottle. Pours clear bright Amber with lots of particles floating around and a thin, fizzy off white head. Tastes like dry toasted malt, a hint of citrus. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty, roasted, and cereal malt, and a hint of citrus.
2.9Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with particulates all throughout the beer. Aroma is Captain Crunch, light funk, and wet bread. Flavor is dry and bland with weak hop character. Light/medium body.
2.6Smells like a bmc adjunct with a tiny bit of hops. Taste I off puttingly metallic with floral hops and some clementine. Some cereal taste too.
2.0Weak and watery. Tastes like a macro brew. Faint orange bitterness but not much other flavor. Skip this unless you’re REALLY thirsty.
3.3Sweet floral fruits in the aroma. Dry sweet malt up front quickly hidden by a peppery bitterness. Call this one an ale pilsner. Finish is average as balance is somewhat muddy.
2.8Golden straw color with thin white head. Smells of biscuit and malt. Thin and dry palate. Mild clean taste. Almost no bitterness. Nice light pale ale.
3.4Old rating. Bottle from old town. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw with a minimal white head. Citrus, lemon, grass, biscuit and malts on the nose. Very pils like. Clean, crisp and refreshing dry and peppery finish. Good for the style. Like a floral pils.
2.7Hazy and yellow. Smells like corn and grassy hops. Tastes same. On the light side even for an alleged APA. You want a drinkable beer that’s not gross and has a considerable hop kick, this could be it. Personally it leaves me cold though.
2.712 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. There’s a finger worth of white-colored head, as well. Retention is just average for the style, but there’s something to be said about leaving a lot of lacing behind...and this one certainly does that.
S: Well, there’s a promising salvo of hops on the nose. Nothing too extreme, but certainly existent. This naturally makes me assume this won’t be some bland, middle-of-the-road blonde ale. There’s also a strong crackery presence coming from the malts. I’m not blown away, but the promise is there...
T: Up front is the crackery, bready malt profile. Past that is where the hops come - sadly, they’re kind of undefined, bringing only generic bitterness along with maybe a *twinge* of citrus. Sadly, the hops don’t really add anything to the bready backbone, even creating a clash between the two elements.
M: Unusually full-bodied for the style. Sure, the creaminess is nice, but the thick texture does nothing for its drinkability. Some out there will like the low carbonation, though. Still, it’s definitely not crisp or clean enough for the style.
O: As a hoppy blonde, this isn’t turribly successful. There’s way too much hop/malt clash for me. Having said that, this isn’t something I’m going to drainpour - it’s only kinda crappy instead of godawful. I don’t need to have this one again.
2.8bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light golden amber, white head cover, bands and dots of lace. Taste is malt that moves abruptly through the palate, adding hops on the swallow, with the bitter lingering in a medium finish. Pretty much a "big box" beer, but it’s on steroids, so, much better.
3.9Perhaps those giving low ratings do not have taste buds... this is a very good beer for what it's supposed to be. From a bottle poured into a pint glass. Slightly hazy coloration with minimal head and lacing. Aroma is earthy with citrusy overtones. Grassy taste with minimal palate feel. A great beer for what it is. This is what mill workers should have been drinking in the '70's!
3.112oz bottle pours a hazy golden color with a bit of head. Mild hop flavors and not a lot else.
3.4Bottle, pours straw color small white head. Slight floral aromas and taste. Nice crisp beer a little to close to what you might get from a larger brewery.
3.2"not a standout as i’ve grown accustomed to from Bells, but definitely better than some other lackluster pales. a refreshing floral and grapefruit hop aroma and decent malt balance, with a little sweetness. a tad weak, but very approachable."
1.8Pours a cloudy straw, good carbonation with little head. Malt aroma with a strong skunk smell, reminds me of Old Style. Bitter taste with slight malt and heavy skunk throughout. Sticky malt aftertaste.
3.5Aroma is surprisingly pleasant. Relatively strong fruity aroma with some grainy, bready malts and a bit of spice. Appearance was mostly nondescript; a straw color with a very white, small foam head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing. Appears as though there is a bit of sediment. The taste is very faint citrus, with mild bready, biscuit malts, with a bit of hops. Not much else going on. Palate is very thin and watery. Overall, nothing to see here, especially for Bell’s.
3.6pours hazy very pale yellow with a small white head, some retention and lacing. very floral grassiness, almost woodsy, pils and lean pale cereals, some grains - bread crust, sulfur, lemon, cattiness, grass. moderately low carbonation, light body - just a tasd watery, dry and assertive peppery-citrusy finish. american pils-like - yes, i gather it’s an ale and they use american hops - anyhow, this brew seems to be misunderstood. good.
3.6Draft at Louis Benton -pours a vibrant yellowed gold - grassy oh aroma , taste is citrus and pine .
3.1Draft. Pours a hazy light golden color. Aroma and taste are light malts and hints of citrus.
3.2Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking light golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking around the glass but ending up sliding just a bit.
The smell had some light bitter citrus hops and a light sweet malt to back up pretty well.
The taste was mainly sweet but still had a decent bitter citrus hoppy blend.
The palate had a fairly good sessionability about it and had a decent carbonation about it.
Overall, this was a pretty good beer that I would have again.
4.2Very nice and refreshing. Pours golden and slightly cloudy, with thin head that diminishes quickly. Pleasant, light bodied brew with more flavor complexity than expected. Will buy more again.
