3.7330ml bottle. Hazy golden amber with a nice white head. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and bitter. Good!
3.5Bottle from Worldwide Alcohol bottle shop, Chelmsford, shared at Dan’s. Pours golden with a small white head. Light aroma of hop, and citrus fruit. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body and sticky texture, carbonation is soft. Enjoyable.
3.6Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a very slightly hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus fruit, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily buttery yeast, toffee, fruit, alcohol palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

3.3(Thiriez Dalva) Tap at Borefts.
Orange coloured body, clear, with a small and thin off-white head on top, with average retention.
Not as hoppy aroma as I expected, rather malty, with some heavy citrus afterwards.
Taste is quite sweet, alcohol, malts light citrus.
Medium thick body, good carbonation.
Okay, maybe worth of another try.

1.7On tap at Borefts. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of diacetyl with a touch of old hops. Sweet diacetyl flavour with fruity notes and old hops

Ruikt fruitig, zoet fruit, hop. Smaakt kruidig, hop, bloemig.
4.0Wazig goudblond bier met grote witte wandklevende schuimkraag. Geur: zoetig, honing, beetje kaas, wat fruitig, mandarijn. Smaak: bitter, moutzoetig, citrus. Goede balans bitter - zoet. Medium volmondig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: droog licht bitter en licht zoet.
3.1Bottle from The Beerhive in Edinburgh. First impression: over-carbonated. Poured an enormous, thick, frothy head that filled half the glass before growing over the brim. Colour is deep golden/tangerine. Very hazy and resinous. Yeasty, citrusy aroma with some smooth vanilla tones. Full mouth-feel. Just a shame the ridiculous head made it feel like only half a beer.
3.533cl bottle at home. Somewhat pale orange with a small white head. Medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with subtle bitterness. Mango, peach, tropical fruits, pine, caramel and malts. Quite OK.
3.5DIPA from one of the more progressive French breweries, hopped with American hops as well as some rather unknown French variety. Medium thick, off-white, moussy head breaking in the middle but well retaining on the edge, lightly hazy peachy orange blonde robe, cloudy with a darker pinkish hue with deposit added. Aroma seems to have more in common with Belgian tripel than with American DIPA, yielding impressions of banana (even bubblegum), peach, orange flesh, paprika, ripe gooseberry, sweetbread, honey, white pepper, jute, marmelade, sweet white wine, dry hay, tulips, toasted white bread, yellow plum, ginger, horseradish, very weak toasted onion and grapefruit peel. Fruity, estery onset, hints of gooseberry, sweet ripe banana, pineapple and peach, with a redcurrant sourishness surrounding it; medium carbo. Slick, slightly oily, supple but ’full’ caramelly and even honeyish malt sweetness with a toasted bittering accent, while fruity esters as well as phenolic spiciness dance on top. Finishes in a thoroughly earthy, spicy hoppiness, gently tonic water- or grapefruit-like but nowhere near as firm as one would expect from a beer calling itself ’double IPA’; retronasally, I get notes of citrus peel and even some very subtle pine, but not enough to save the day. Caramelly malt ’juiciness’ comes through, accompanied by the earthy hop bitterness. France is slowly becoming aware of the craft beer revolution - but very slowly indeed; if even Thiriez is uncapable of evoking the American IPA experience, then who remains? This is not a DIPA: this is a Belgian IPA at best, in other words: a tripel adorned with far too moderately applied American hoppiness. Bittering, sure, but where are the New World hop effects in the nose and what is that truckload of isoamylacetate (banana) doing here? Reminds me a bit of Brabant’s Plato’s Cave, but less daring and way too ’Belgian’ to qualify as a DIPA. By itself not a bad beer by any means, but I expected something way more American so in that sense, a bit of a disappointment. Regard this as a ’Belgian IPA’ and you’ll enjoy this a lot more, I think.
2.4Flarra. Syns stoora bubblor kallas kolsyra.
2.9330ml bottle bought @Johnny’s Off License (Rome). Pours deep golden/light amber with a medium and persistent off-white head. Aroma is malty, sugary, resin, pine, citrus. Flavour has a strong malt profile with a decent bitter end, a bit unbalanced. Medium body, light carbonation. No.
3.6At bruine kroeg, bottle courtesy of Maakun. Almost clear golden brew with huge fluffy white head. Sweet fruitiness, chalkiness and comfortable bitterness. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Smooth carbonated feel. Like it!
4.2Slightly cloudy yellow with white foam appreciable layer that leaves some loop. maltose candy and biscuit, and a blanket of pine and resins (perhaps also some grapefruit) that play on the palate sensations and bitter resinous characteristics of an IPA, complemented with notes and spicy wild plants. With a dry, bitter and earthy end, leaves a long lasting refreshing mouthfeel,
3.233 cl bottle. Hazy orange with a thick frothy head. Yeasty, doughy, citrusy. Very sweet, sour and bitter finish, from bittering european hops. High carbonation, quite heavy stuff.
