3.2 Bottle @ Den Bette Ölhus. Golden with a tiny white head. Fruity and hoppy tones. Fruit, malt, herbs and hops. Medium body with a bitter / fruity finish.
2.3 Bottle.
Spritzig getreidig, weich herb. Gut trinkbar. 8/7/8/7/6/7
1.9 50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40. Aroma of grainy malt, corn. Taste of grainy malt, soft metallic hops, corn, meh...
3.2 Pours clear golden with medium white head; aroma is malty, slightly honey, pilsner, gentle herbal; taste is sweet malty, herbal, finish is low to medium bitter; sugary mouthfeel with average carbonation
3.4 Bottle at Krik Vig Camping og Hyttepark. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma of herbs, porse, light bread, floral notes. Tastes sweet with balancing bitterness.
2.1 pale, clear, white foam, cereal, bread, hay, medium body, sticky, average carbonation, bitter, medium sweetness, medium bitterness,
2.2 Flaska från Netto i Köpenhamn. Ljust gul med vitt skum. Doft av bröd. Lite citrus i smaken.
2.4 Bottle. Clear golden with a fast fading white head. Fresh carbonation. I have never tasted bog myrtle, but aroma and taste has some grain and hay with a spicy bitter taste to it.
2.5 Copenhagen 25/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Rema1000. Very golden label to indicate that this beer has an ABV in excess of 5 pct. and a drawing of some herbs. Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is sweet with malts and herbal notes. You can actually smell the myrtle. Light carbonation and watery palate. Taste is sweet with a very distinct herbal tang. Only light bitterness. Sweet aftertaste with myrtle and a little bit metallic. Nice one if you are into drinking your kitchen garden. By the way why is Danish beer with an ABV > 5 always "export beer". Aren’t the Danes capable of drinking semi-strong beer - they have to send it out of the country.
0.5 L, flaske, 5.8 % ABV, BB: 03/09/17, købt i Netto i Valby.
Godt
2.8 Pours light golden with short white head. Aroma is sweet. Taste also sweet with citrus notes. Carbonation fresh
2.5 Bottle from Rema. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste is sweet malts, herbal, hops, bread, grass. Soft carbonation. Watery texture. Light bitter to sweet finish.
2.2 50cl bottle bb06/2016, shared during Freiburg 2015 Jolly Cellar Clearing. - Brackish golden pour. Faded gale bogmyrtled down into a bland Danish export: cooked proteins, grain husks, tired generic lagerbeeriness evaporating from the glass. Apart from a mildly foreign vegetal (spelt, leek) bitterness (which just as well could have been a watered down metallic hop extract) there is little retrievable, let alone redeemable bog myrtle/sweet gale character here. Fine enough mouthfeel, apart from the sweet & creamy corn body and hop metallics. - References: Belgian Gageleer, Gruut.
2.6 Flaske.
2.6 Clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grain, hay and citrus. Taste is bread, herbals and lime
2.0 (5) Average at best. Fun story. Nice touch of porse - although nothing that blows your mind.
2.5 Nice foam and the smells of spicy bog myrtle. By not how byg myrtle smells, so I think it is best described as a cross between hops and fresh bog myrtle. The fragrance is certainly lovely. The taste is malty and spicy quite briefly before it turns into a bitterness that is a blend of bog myrtle and hops.
2.7 24-SEP-2015, bottle @home, from Rema 1000. Clear golden with a nice, lasting, slightly lacing, white head. Strong herbal aroma - like nettle. Sweet malt aroma. Touch of alcohol, slight citrus but mostly sweet malt - almost corn-like and the herbs. Nice creamy body, medium carbonation.
2.7 Flaska av en kompis, tack Tomas! Ljus gyllengul vätska med vitt skumlock. Gräsig doft. Lika gräsig i smaken.
Tja, ganske godt! Sommerfeeling
2.5 Bottle. Light grassy aroma. Sweet and a bit spicy flavour. Quite bitter. (Påland, 20.07.2015)
1.9 A strong light orange lager with Myrica Gale and white head. Aroma is Juniper. Taste is sour bitter.
2.3 From bottle @ HK’s Øl-messe 7th February 2015. Aroma of light malt, not much. Small shite head, not lasting, clear golden colour. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, watery texture, avg. carbonation, short finish.
3.1 Appearance: pours clear straw yellow with ok soapy white head with good lacing. aroma/taste: grain, hay, bread hints of herbal (bog myrtle?) notes. palette: medium carbonation, light to medium body, some malt sweetness, average bitterness, medium duration and a watery texture. Overall: nice lager with a herbal twist
2.9 On bottle from Vinmonopolet (BU). Clear golden color, good foam. Aromas of malt, some honey, fruitiness and boiled vegetables. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Pretty decent.
