3.6 Keg at the market cat york. A clear copper amber coloured pour with a lasting creamy beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty, cakey malts, dried fruits, liquorice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet veg, nutty, cakey malts, dried fruits. Creamy. Good.

3.4 30/4/2021. Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours clear deep amber brown with a frothy/creamy off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, malty, nutty, caramel and cake. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. soft carbonation. Fruity to the finish. Quite liked it, would be very sessionable.
3.5 Cask (Kitty's, Helsinki). Clear dark chestnut color. Mellow, grainy, limestone in a good way, balanced, mildly bitter in aroma/taste.
3.4 Aroma; malt, nut, fruit, pomerance, caramel, herbs. Look; off white head, on veiled amber mahogany body. Taste; malts, nuts, fruits, tangerines, caramel, bitters, well minerals, and finishes balanced. Feel; ok body and ok co². Overall; beef friendly. 3.4 Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Slightly unclear amber brown colour, small stable creamy off-white head, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, nutty notes. Mild taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, bit biscuit. Medium body, watery to oily texture, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, light citrus peel, earhy and nutty notes, nice bitter.
2.9 Robe brune, limpide, peu de mousse. Pain, caramel, seigle?, carton. Bouche sur le pain et le caramel, petite amertume de houblons herbeux. Carbo et corps léger, petite longueur. Pas mal foutue, anglaise sans conteste, mais pas trop mon truc.

3.2 Roasty and biscuity aroma, light caramel, light overall but still nice, dark brown to copper colour with huge off-white head, caramel, floral, bitter and toasty taste, thin body, soft carbonation, quite drinkable.

3.9 Bottle, small stable bubbly head, clear copper color, aroma of caramel with hints of fruity hops and hay, clean flavor of caramel and bread with a hint of fruit, light to medium mellow herbal bitterness, smooth. Excellent modern example of the style.

3.0 Bottle. Clear copper with beige head. The aroma has notes of grains, bread, minerals, a bit earthy. The flavor is bitter with notes of grains, minerals, citrusy hops, earthy, some yeasts, a bit metallic. Medium-bodied.
3.5 A dark brown beer, a head is quite big and light beige. Aroma has caramel malts, fruitness of lemon. Taste has some caramel maltyness, nicely strong bitterness that keeps the taste quite dry, wood, some fruitness. Almost medium bodied. Frehs. Good beer.
3.7 Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. One of those you’ve had dozens of, but somehow never rated. Light haze on a dark copper colour. Decent beige cap. Nose has fairly sweet malt. Grassy hop leaf. Some dried fruit. Well done granary crust. Taste is light bitter, with some sweetness on the lips. Light body, with foamy carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Nice bitter. Better on cask though.
3.7 Chestnut brown with an off white head. Aroma of butterscotch malt and grass. Flavour malt dominated, butterscotch caramel. Very nice.
3.6 Cask @Colmore (Thornbridge), Birmingham. 05/02/2020. Color ambarino, sabor maltosa, cereal, notas caramelo, sabor caramelo, maltosa, cuerpo medio.
3.3 Aroma of roasted malts and grassy hops. Pours chestnut body with white lace top. Taste is medium sweet to bitter with strong biscuit malts. Palate is medium bodied oily texture average carbonation and a biscuit finish. You would not know it was Thornbridge.
3.8 From cask at Cardinal. A stylish bitter, rich in hop. Butterscotch, malt and hops.
2.5 Cask at the Watford Town Beer Festival 2015. Deep amber with scummy head. Aroma of toffee, brown sugar and wet grass. Mid sweet flavour.
3.4 Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester as part of their Thornbridge Tap Takeover weekend. Light brown and clear with a ring of beige head. There's a woody, vinous smell to the beer with notes of forest floor, light potpourri, sarsaparilla. Sweet taste with a little dab of oaky sourness. There's more bitterness gathered in the earthy finish. Simple and satisfying.
3.1 On tap at The George, Moss, Norway, served at cellar temperature 10 deg, Pint glass, 98kr. Lovely looking deep amber colour with ok head. Nice bubbles and settles nicely. No sediment. Nice aroma to the beer. Styled as a bitter but i don´t think its that bitter. Nice smooth flavour with a slight bitterness. Definitely drink again.
3.9 From cask at Cardinal (horray, hooray, hooray!!!). Served by gravity in very good condition. And by this Cardinal proves its position as the best beer bar in Norway. Translucent dark golden. Fine off-white lacing and diminishing head. Fruity aroma with mediun roasted malt, berries and hints of herbs and yeast. Superb taste, with medium roasted malt, berries, marmalade and grass. Very good!
3.5 Cask (hooray!), gravity dispense, at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brown colour, slightly hazy, small head. Decent natural carbonation. Malty aroma, a little fruit and yeast. The flavour is also malty but fairly dry, notes of yeast and earthy hops. Will probably be in even better nick a day later.
3.8 Cask at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours almost clear dark amber with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is malty, good toffee with some nutty malts. Taste is smooth creamy malts, good toffee
3.6 2019-01-28: From cask at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark copper with off-white head. Aroma of caramel with floral and fruity notes. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Thin bodied, slightly bitter finish. 2019-09-23: Cask at Cardinal. Pours hazy dark amber to light copper. Aroma of caramel, distinct floral hoppy notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Dry mouthfeel and finish.
3.6 Cask @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours deep clear amber, cream coloured head. Toffee, berries, citrus on the nose. Pillowy smooth mouthfeel, good gentle toffee character with mild berry moments, clean sweet malt with low bitterness. Good bitter.
