This Imperial Raspberry Stout pours rich and dark with aromas and tastes of liquorice and chocolate, complimented by the generous infusion of prime Scottish raspberries. Hops: Bramling Cross. 4.7 Pours a deep black with thin tan head. Aromas of raspberries and full roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee. Taste is smooth, rich, a complex blend of fruitiness and slight sourness from the raspberries which feature prominently backed by chocolate and intense roasted malt flavours, plus some liquorice. Full bodied with gentle carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter with raspberry fruitiness lingering. Really enjoyable beer.
4.2 Bottle@Kerho, Tampere, Finland. Batch 2013. Dominating first bite of raspberry, then IS nuances like licorice and a hint of slightly roasted malts. Still, nuances are superbly blended and in balanced order. Wide taste spectrum and long aftertaste with licorice and some raspberry. Medium/strong body with light/medium carbonation. Overall, a top notch product with a bit too dominating raspberry.
3.9 500ml bottle. Thick, black beer with a generous tan head. Heavy raspberry and dark chocolate nose, carried through to the flavour. Like a raspberry cream from a box of chocolates. Very tasty indeed
4.3 500ml bottle. Pours a deep black with off white head. Sweet raspberry on the nose with hints of the alcohol lingering. Full body with strong raspberry at the front again fading to chocolates and other malt flavours. No noticible alcohol in the flavour.
2.3 Neat beige head deep dark red pour mild carbonation aromas raspberries chocolate caramel vanilla licorice rich fruit the flavours dark chocolate raspberries roast malty taste barley cocoa soy a salty taste what a harsh note really not to my liking very sickly or just too bad of a mix seems strongly too over done the main two tastes they have come out very against my palate sorry
3.6 Dark with a trace of swirly beige head. Body medium to full. I'd prefer the raspberries to be more subtle; they're front and centre with the stout flavours a bit subdued. Dark chocolate comes through and provides lingering bitterness.

4.0 Bottle - Dark chocolate covered raspberries and roast. Jet brown with a nice rich light brown head. Intense raspberry and nice dark chocolate. Intense and really nicely done.
Alles heel mooi in balans. Subliem genietersbier.
4.1 Noire. Nez intense de framboise. Riche. Liquoreuse.
4.2 Aroma - fruity, with lot of raspberry and blackcurrant jam slightly diluted with alcohol, cask notes, roasted malt, a bit of chocolate with milk and raisins. Taste - intense, quite a bit sweet, predominantly roasted malt, chocolate with milk and raisins, blackcurrant, sour raspberry, some matured red dry wine, wild black fruit’s sourness, slightly bitter, very few alcohol. Very good, balanced and easy to drink.
3.5 Bottle: Aroma is raspberry chocolate, bit artificial sugar notes, raspberry cake. Dark brown reddish color. Flavor is dark chocolate, raspberry, cacao. Bit strange.
3.7 Bottle, 50cL. Home. Easter. With my parents. A shining black beer with a big beige foamy head ; medium retention. Raspberry nose and aroma (++), light roast. Medium round sweet, light to medium dry bitter, light warming background. Medium good body, light silky texture, soft carbonation, lasting dry fruity finish. Overall, really good ! Nevertheless, what a pity this raspberry aroma hides everything...
4.1 Bottle. Lovely aroma of raspberries. Taste is even better, raspberry, bit of chocolate, rich and lovely. Was a bit smashed at this stage.
3.7 Bottle. Pours dark brown, black with a small, dark beige head. Aroma is somewhat sweet with berries, strawberry, raspberry, roast. Taste is roast, raspberry, coffee. Strong aftertaste with raspberry and coffee. Nice sipper.
4.1 Bottle share at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a deep brown colour with a medium tan head. Aroma of molasses, raspberry, some dark fruits, slight liquorice, a hint of smoke, a little chocolate and subtle brown sugar. Taste of molasses, treacle, some dark fruits, slight raspberry, chocolate, a little roasted malts, a hint of coffee, maybe brown sugar and subtle spicy, earthy hops. Full bodied and a slick texture. A slick and smooth, treacly finish with a soft roasted bitterness in the aftertaste. Complex and well made and the raspberry adds a subtle sharpness to the rich and smooth malts. No hint of alcohol either. Very nice.
4.1 500ml bottle. Black with a nice tan head. Raspberry, dark chocolate and coffee. Light aroma of olives. Very good.
4.1 Pours pitch black with a fine cappuccino coloured head. Aroma is very very dark, the dark malts are very straightforward. Coffee is quite apparent, raspberry is more in the background but there. Some treacle and plums. Thick and oily mouthfeel, medium to heavy body. Flavour is complex, loads of dark malts, honey, treacle, raspberries, rather earthy and even some hops noticeable. Finish is rather long with some wood and smoke and also the raspberries! Great beer!
2.7 Great beer I got in a bottle. It was great tasting - really enjoyed the flavor and aroma that came off of the glass when poured
4.5 Bottle of 2013. Deep dark brown colour with beige head on top leaving small lacing as it dissolves. Aroma has intense raspberries, dark chocolate and some roasted malts. Taste has lots of raspberries but some dark chocolate too, roasted malts and more berries. Full body and low carbonation.
4.4 Bottle at home. Pours black with medium sized long lasting tan head. Aroma is raspberry, cocoa, licorice and a hint of strawberry. Taste has bitter raspberry, roasted coffee and cocoa. Medium carbonation. Quite bitter for a stout. Overall great beer.

3.9 Bottle, 10%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, raspberries, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, raspberries, medium sweet, little liquorice, hop
3.7 Bottle. Black with a medium sized light brown head with good retention, lace and regeneration. Lots of raspberry in the nose with some chalk, chocolate and sugar too. Also plenty of strawberry in the flavour with sugar, mild chocolate, chalk and light roasted malt. Full body, oily texture, fine carbonation, medium sweet and bitter. Finishes with chocolate and raspberry.
3.6 Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Some raspberry present. Heavy bitter flavor. Strong chocolate, roast and raspberry notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. A Little unbalanced but nice.
3.6 Dark brown, coffee head. Smells raspberry, light roast. Surprisingly medium body. Tart, berry taste. Some roast. Bitter-tart finish.
3.8 Well, this is pretty nice raspberry stout. Chocolate, raspberrish, sweet, but quite much roasted malts.
