3.6Weak malty aroma but looks great. Very drinkable, long lasting bitter hop profile. Slick palate, short sting of carbonation. This was good. No way I would have thought it is 9%
3.8Hazy orange with a white head. Tropical notes, grapefruit, mango, candied pineapple, resin. Medium body. Sharp bitterness in the finish. A bit hot from there booze. Good brew.
4.7Poured it from a bomber. A golden-orange pour with a patchy foam head. Has a lot of pineapple and mango like fruit on the nose from the start. Very impressed by the first taste and it hangs around. The taste starts with some bitter earthy hops accompanied with some citrus fruit rind like bitter notes. It finishes creamy. It’s an excellent Imperial IPA. Very tasty.
3.9The smell is spruce/ citrus hoppy. The appearance was a nice golden orange brown in color with a decent foamy head. Good taste with some sweetness included. Fizzy carbonation, not offensive just not optimal. Finish has a little bitterness, abrupt ending
3.822 oz bottle poured. Shared by Tyler. Thanks! Double header baseball beers. Love it. A shiny golden orange pour with a patchy foam head. A ton of pineapple and mango like fruit on the nose here. Impressionable, and it hangs around. Flavor is a ton of bitter earthy hops, as well as some citrus fruit rind like bitter notes. Orange peel. Creamy reminder late. A bit of a warming finish to it, with a strong bitterness continuing. A fun imperial here. Tasty.
4.2On tap at Indiana’s beer mecca. Beautiful orange and golden color with minimal head but strong lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit and slight pine. Taste is pleasant sweetness underlining a traditional but amped up hoppy citrus and almost pineapple imperial IPA profile. End has resiny characteristics and leaves you wanting another one. This is one wolf worth hunting.
4.0Appearance: Deep honey amber. Hazy. Finger of tiny white bubbles.
Nose: subtly sweet malt with grassy, citrus and pine hops.
Taste: Again sweet with good hop bitters. Light caramel, grass, pine and orange zest.
Body: Medium to a touch thicker.
Parting thoughts: An above average IIPA. Sweeter than some. Good hop profile. Flavors blended very well.
3.8Bottle, thanks to Dr.Fabulous. Pours hazy dark orange with large foamy off-white head, orange/grapefruit peel aroma. medium carbonation, bitter grapefruit zest taste, somewhat thick body, long bitter finish. Tasty, flavorful, on the bitter side.
3.8Draft at J’s. Pours a clear gold with a full finger of foam that lingers. Big candied orange, peach and some dill on the nose. Rich and full bodied. Citrusy mikan, pithy bitterness sweet and bitter. A big 3 Floyds in your face bitter double IPA.
4.0Tap at local option Chicago. Pours a hazy orange with a white head - looks a treat. Aroma is sweet grassy orange candy. Medium body, medium carb. Not as sweet as expected. Wood, pine, pithy bitter orange, lemon, white toast... ABV well concealed. Tasty.

-the wolf is unforgiving

3.9Bottle brought back from Chicago and shared on Christmas Day. Pours a medium straw color, nose is pine and malty sweetness. One finger creamy white head that disappears rapidly. The taste is malty with a bit more hoppiness than I expected.
3.7Tap at Tap House Munich. Muddy orange color with white head. Aroma is resinous, bready, piney hops. Taste is piney, bready, lots of toasted malts and pine cones, bittersweet finish. Oily mouthfeel. Good piney DIPA, just probably not nearly as hoppy as it would be fresh in the US.
4.2on tap @Tap House, Munich, Nov2016.
I used term "hops pie" when tasted this one, delicious, bold, rich of flavor.
Good balance, reminds classy WC DIPA (pine, resiny, citrus, fruity hops aroma and flavor in perfect balance with slightly sweet, bold malt body) but with a twist - pine/resin fraction of "pie" is substituted with grapefruit bitterness, although flavor does not tend to be grapefruity. Long lasting dry, heavy bitter finish. Color- pale amber to yellow with write, thick top. Drinkability still good for "big" ipa. Price 10 euros for 330ml was painful but worth to try.
3.9Draught. Lightly hazy golden orange with a lasting thick foamy off white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, citrus, caramel, hint of alcohol. Taste is of grapefruit, exotic fruits, mango. Thick oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
4.3Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
4.2Tasted from draft. Pours a hardy gold with white head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is heavily bitter with a mild to moderate sweet malt backbone. Flavors of caramel, grapefruit, tropical fruits, resin. Incredible imperial IPA.
4.1Bomber, by way of trade with jmbeergeek. Cheers Joe! Hazy, dark gold. Film of white head. Loads of viscous legs. Nose has bruleed tropical fruit. Charred pineapple and grapefruit. Hint of herb and soft spice. A tad dank and gluey. Taste is rich, spicy, oily bitter. Some sweetness. Some savoury character, too. As it goes along it gets more oily and resinous, replacing that fruitiness. Chewy and super tasty.
3.8Bottled 08/29/16. Pours deep orange, orange-tinged white fluffy head. Aroma is very nice citrus, orange, grapefruit, resin, pine, caramel maltiness is prominent, slightly dank, again, those bright citrus notes really pop. Great nose. Flavor is orange, caramel, a very piney hop bite, floral, nice citrus presence. Slightly slick? But at the same time, dry. Pretty good.
4.1On tap at The Tipsy Cow. Pours Hazy orange. Aroma is strong hops. Taste is sweet fruit, pine, apricot with a really strong bitter finish. The malts support but stay out of the way. Medium bodied very good
4.0Tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, sweet citrus fruits, sherbet lemon. Slightly hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. Bitterness intensifies, bittersweet orange, lightly herbal notes, pine, resin, soft to medium carbonation, bitter and dry finish, full bodied, alcohol. Nice IIPA, great aroma, slightly harsh in the palate. Keg at brewery, Munster, IN.
4.1On tap at the Brewpub with Patty on our way to vist Erica in South Dakota. Clear orange amber color with a white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, mango, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel balanced with peach, orange citrus, tropical fruit notes, grapefruit & pine bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very enjoyable. The best of the night!.
3.6Arctic Panzer Wolf
Sampled on 8/4/2016. This imperial IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head with good retention and decent lacing. The aroma is citrus and piney hops, some malts and some mango.
A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are piney and citrusy. Nice balance between the hops and malts, but definitely on the hoppy side. Good carbonation. A whole lot of hop flavor with a whole bunch of hop bitterness. Nice long lasting hop flavors with some lingering bitterness and a nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.
3.7Bottle. Pours a clear amber color. Aroma and taste are pine, citrus, and some caramel.
4.3On tap @ Monterey Bar, Berlin - DE. Color: clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: hoppy blast, grassy and resin. Sweet caramel finish and small alcohol notes. Taste: full body with fresh hops, resin and grassy. Floral notes. Very drinkable. Good attenuation. Alcohol finish. Aftertaste: dry sensation dry bitterness, astringent. Hoppy.
3.6Bomber, bottled yesterday. Golden color with lots of fine carbonation. Pine, slight mango, vanilla wafers and malt. Has a brief initial sweetness followed by a intense, lasting bitterness. Medium body with a fizzy feel. Don’t know if it’s the freshness, but definitely bitter.
3.9Hazed, thicker looking, golden/orange colored liquid with plenty of floaties and swinkles. Modest sized off-white head. Decent lace. Fresh pine, oranges and grapefruit aromas. Hints of pale malt, caramel and light plum scents. Hints of floor cleaner and glue come out slightly as it warms. Full, lightly oily feel, but plenty of zip to keep it light on the tongue. Light syrupy sweetness in the front. Fruit syrup in the middle. Hops join in late with a citric bite. Interesting as it warms, the hops seem to take a backseat to the sugars. Still a hop bomb, but one that gets stuck in a syrup vat. A few off-key notes in a style that keeps getting more demanding. 7/10
3.5Orange pour. Nose is a boozy orange creamsicle bomb with a touch of maltiness. Taste is orange creamsicle, dank hops, much less malt character, some booze near the finish. creamy sticky mouthfeel.
3.9Bottle, 650ml. A clear amber beer with a small frothy white head and some sediments. Floral aromas with citric hops and malt. Taste is bitter with fizzy carbonation. Astrigent and with a long malty and bitter finish.
