3.4Hazy light orange/straw color with minimal head. Smells of banana, clove, some tropical fruit. Taste is the same, with a bit of wheat/corn, a little vanilla. Good sweet and spicy flavors, easy drinking.
3.7From 22 ounce bottle shared at tasting. Very banana in flavor and nose. No big clove here. Wheaty. Light orange yellow in color. Nice.
3.5At Brewpub. Quite banana-y hefeweizen, Rich yeasty smell, soft and full mouthed. Serving: Tap

3.5660 ml bottle, kindly shared by the ever generous Dennoman. Pours light yellow with a white hue, nice steady head. Aroma profile includes wheat, banana, iron and some yoghurt whey. A very creamy and subtle palate, tastes lke wheat, yoghurt, whey. This is a tasteful beer, regardless of the style (that I don’t know that much)
3.9Thnx to Dennoman !
Pours unclear yellow, small white head .
Smell is banana , buttery , dough .
Taste is buttery , bit banana ( way less than in the scent ) , bit bitter , very nice and balanced . Probably ( one of ) the best I had in this style so far !
3.3Bottle 650ml @Beer Hunters.
Hazy orange color, small white head. Banana in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish banana, some spiceyness, mellow. Balanced, but 37? for bottle was a bit too much.
3.565 cl bottle @ Beer Hunter’s.
Pours hazy golden color with a hazy head. Wheat and distant berries on the nose, fruits and mild herbs. Fruity flavor, apricot, wheat, mild spice notes and wood. Decent but not worth the money it cost.

3.5650 ml bottle @ Beer Hunters, Pori. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet malts, orange, some floral notes and bread. Flavour is rather sweet with caramel, orange zest, grass and yeastiness. Some bubblegum. Medium bodied. Finishes fruity and a bit yeasty. Good.
3.4Bottled. Pours hazy and deep golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of banana, spice, wheat, caramel notes and yeast. Sweet flavor that end up more dry and slightly bitter. Light to medium bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation. A nice wheat.

[ As Three Floyds Drunk Monk ].
Clear medium orange color with a small to average, quick, frothy - fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy yeasty, exotic fruit, yeast, clove notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, exotic fruit, sweet fruit, yeasty, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140405]

Mikkeller & Friends. Bottle share with Fonefan, Rlgk and ChrisO. Clear gold beer, tiny pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Sweet malt with sweet banana and cloves. Touch of floralness. Light airy finish. A clean and sweet Hefe.
3.5Bottle at Mikkeller&Friends, Copenhagen. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Clove aroma, banana, wheat, citrus, biscuits, caramel, earthy notes, some toffee. Banana flavor, clove, wheat, cream notes, hay, citrus, some toffee, cream, some grapes.
2.8Bottle. Pours crystal clear orange, come on, how the hell is this a hefe? Small white head, some lacing. Aroma is wheat, a bit of clove, perhaps banana. Flavor is very strong clove, clove, clove. Clove. Did i mention clove? Holy shit. Clove. Medium body. Finish of lingering.... You guessed it, clove.
Clove.

4.5Got a bomber of this at the 3 Floyd's brewery. Pours dark golden orange. The aroma is a beautiful blend of banana and vanilla, almost banana bread like. The taste is smooth hefe weisse with more banana flavors. Very palatable. Hints of clove and vanilla shine through the wonderful banana flavor. Another great beer from 3 Floyd's.
3.222.03.2014, 0,65l bottle @ home:
Small creamy mediumlasting head, very muddy color. Aroma is kind of weird, wheat, broth, yeast, banana bread, hay, clove. Taste is yeast, wheat, hay, banana bread, broth, citrus, cereal, clove. Little bitterness, yeasty mouthfeel. Fair enough, just strange.
2.6Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is candy like malt, some caramel. Flavour is wheat, malt, yeast and dust.
3.0Bottle. Hazy golden, medium sized diminishing fizzy white head. Banana, raspberry, grain, honey, cloves. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. A bit thin and sweet with no bitterness. Overall it makes little sense to buy an expensive American hefe weizen in Denmark.
3.3Pour is yellow/orange with a small white head that fades quickly. Extremely carbonated. Aroma is of apple juice, wheat, banana, and yeast. Flavor is tangy and peppery - spice, nutmeg, banana, cloves, orange blossom. Light and spicy finish.
3.265 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are banana, clove, wheat, citrus, and yeast - with a slightly dry finish.
3.0Bottle @ Dean to Mouth tasting, courtesy of kermis. Pours a hazy amber beer without any carbonation going on in the glass. Aroma is fairly flat, faint fruity yeasty esters going on, slight touch of banana. Really missing the typical hefeweizen aroma here. Flavor is again very flat, boring and really missing the spot here. Slight fruitness going on, furthermore rather boring. Easy drinkable though, but no match to any other hefeweizen in my book.
2.3Sampled from bottle @ The Hague Tasting. Murky yellowish color, small white head. Smell and taste wheat, banana, sweetish. Not far off a German hefe weisse. Unfortunately I don’t like hefe weisse beers. Anyway, not a bad brew.
2.6Bottle at the "Lets celebrate the fact that Dean is already the Mayor of M&S Den Haag even though it’s only been open for 24 hours tasting!". Poured a hazy light amber with no life at all. The aroma is citrus fruit. The flavour is acid veggie with a light pear banana watery palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Pretty awful. The worst I ever had from Three Floyds.
1.6Hazy orange with a thin fully disappearing white head. Smells of orange, grass, cherries and a bit of honey. Medium oily body. Tastes of pale malt, rotten fruit and a sour stale rot finish. Not very nice and lots of old oranges.
2.5Poured a murky milky orange with no head. Aroma of sour fruit and soft malt. Medium body, flavour of lactose, light fruityness.
3.4Bottle shared at THT. Pours cloudy dark golden. Aroma is some smoke, banana, pineapple and yeast. Taste is moderate sweet. Good for the style. Medium bodied.
3.3sample @THT courtesy of Kermis.
Thin white head. Cloudy golden blond pour. banana aroma. very good.
3.822 ounce bottle into weizen glass; no bottle dating, but was released fairly recently. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with decent retention, that reduces to a spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big orange peel, pear, apple, banana, apricot, wheat, bread, bubblegum, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, malt, hop notes; with good strength. Taste of orange peel, apricot, banana, pear, apple, wheat, bread, clove, bubblegum, light pepper, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of orange peel, apricot, banana, pear, apple, wheat, bread, clove, bubblegum, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, complexity, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, malt, and moderate hop flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and very smooth mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hefeweizen. All around good balance, robustness, and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, malt, and moderate hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
