3.7Fist time sampling Three Floyds with this and Zombie Dust. Preferred ZD a little better. This is still a smooth feel, and well balance grain-hop flavor. The Bavarian hops give a little more of a noble flavor, some mild fruit and grassy notes. Might be a little wheat in here for some added sweetness and texture. Slightly hazy medium yellow-light orange appearance. An interesting IPA that is slightly different than the norm.
3.8Can from Total Wine Fairfax.pours a clear gold color with a medium white head and nice lacing. Really nice aroma of sweet malt, oranges, and pine resin. Balanced flavor of sweet malt like cotton candy and mildly bitter hops. Another nice 3 Floyds IPA.
3.6Poured from 12 oz. can.
Lightly hazy gold with a 3-finger off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma of lemongrass, grapefruit, caramel and hints of orange.
Taste of orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, caramel, pineapple and biscuit malt.
Medium/full body and medium carbonation.
3.8Gold pour. Thick foam. Even lace. Sweet grapefruit with a nutty note. Citrus and nut palate. Easy carbonation.
3.2Cheerios and lemongrass nose. Cloudy amber, medium head, full of floating pulpy sediment. Orange and lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation.
4.2Can. Murky gold with thick white head. Really nice hop nose, excellent aroma. Taste is well balanced and pleasant. A little citrus, a little sweetness, a little bitterness late. Comes together nice. What I want from an ipa.
3.6Draft @ Milk & Hops Chelsea (9/17/20). One day of freedom during the covid lockdown! Hazy bright yellow with very small foamy whitish head, very faint piney aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter orange peel-pineapple taste, faint resin flavor, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very solid brew.

4.2When you get a perfect classic American IPA you gotta be happy!
Aroma of grapefruit, pine and tropical notes (mango), therefore on high hop levels. Low malt intensity, sweet bread, in support. Clear from yeasts.
Crystal clear golden, pours with good carbonation and tiny bubbles, large, tight, creamy head, with great retention and beautiful Belgian laces along the glass.
Medium-high bitterness, with some sweetness from the malts (caramel biscuit) while the hops provide bitterness and notes of pine, grapefruit and mango, in the most classic way. Dry finish.
Medium body with a medium carbonation bite. Very smooth and creamy.
As I said, a great example of a classic IPA, in a fresh can (Dec 2020). Needed.
4.0Can. Hoppy aroma and taste, citrus and exotic fruit, medium bitter, light sweet notes. Medium body, hoppy fruity bitter finish. Good.
3.9Can from Half Time. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus and green melon with some very light toffee. Med body. Flavor is slightly roasty malt - suggesting toffee - with citrus and green melon. Some floral. Dry. Quite bitter. Heading for dank. Might qualify for WC. Good drink.
3.9Some dank pineapple in the sour-sweet aroma. Well balanced flavor in this IPA. Sweet, blonde malts along with leafy hops. 4 month old can. Very good.
3.4Light aroma of malt and even less from the hops. Hazy orange color with a large white head. Moderate bitter flavor that builds in the finish.
3.9The aroma is hops and cotton candy. Pours a slightly cloudy light yellow/orange with big white head, mostly diminishing. The taste is bitter, a little sweet then bitter again. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish mid to long. Very good.
3.916-ounce can pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a 1/8" creamy white head and lacing. Aroma: grapefruit, pineapple, pine. Flavor: pineapple, mango, honey, grapefruit, lemon peel, pine, toast. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a finish that is both velvety and grainy.
3.6Fruit flavors that are very well blended together. Quality hops for sure. Nice body. Very pleasant taste and aftertaste. Well done!
3.5Clear, golden color. Big, white head. Pine resin and caramel malt in the aroma. Hoppy taste with a solid, malty background. Strong but not overwhelming hoppy bitterness.
3.4Can. Poured a hazy golden color with small to medium head. Notes of orange, pine, spice, grapefruit, and toast. Light to medium bodied. A traditional IPA.
4.1Needs a little more carbonation, strong taste
3.7Can (9/30/20) pour from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is hazy golden yellow with excellent sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, mild vegetal. Taste follows aroma with addition of late bread. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering dry bitterness. Overall, appearance is world class but rest is pretty pedestrian and old school. Not special but OK.
3.7A little hazy yellow. No head. Very faint aroma. Has a little cherry note, grassy. Mango and melon and watermelon with a good toasty bitter grapefruit finish. Tasty, refreshing.
3.7Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade!
Lightly hazy light gold in color with a decent sized bubbly white head. Earthy pine and resin with bits of citrus and tropical fruits. Sweet bread underneath for structure. Decent old school IPA.
3.816oz can from Halftime. Hazy golden pour, spotty head. Fruity aroma, citrus, orange, tropical. Taste continues with the fruity flavors, minor dank notes, thick, juicy. Melon, pineapple, orange.
3.116 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, much thanks. Aroma is caramel malt, maybe citrus. Flavor is more malt dominated. Bready malt and caramel. Hop bitterness shows without any real character. I’ve visited this brewery twice. Let’s just say this beer isn’t going to make me want to go back. Really old school and not in a good way.
3.9Can: Thanks Ilya! Pours a slightly hazy golden with an off white lacing head. Great fresh hop aroma. Pine, citrus, resiny, bright. Nice body with a dry flavor. Crackery malt background with a solid hop profile. Balanced and highly drinkable.
2.4Four-pack of pint cans from Super Buy Rite. Nose sweet with more of this tropical / lotion stuff. Pours clear yellow-golden with a sudsy bright white head. Taste lightly sweet with medium tanginess, not enough to pucker but enough to disturb, minimal malt with lemony citrus throughout. Light body but bright, clean, fresh, alcohol well-tamed -- but I do not like the hops here. [2020.10.09: 2.4]
4.3Very well done IPA.Terrific citrus/mango hops, but smooth
3.5Hazy gold pour. More malt than I expected. Mango and orange come through on top of the malt with a mildly bitter finish. Good not great.
