3.7On tap at As Is. Pours orange brown. Bubblegum, lavender, lemonade, big honey sweetness, lingering bitter finish. Full body. Good.
3.7Can. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, pale malt, grassy hops, earthy hops. Flavor of caramel malt, spices, citrus. A little malty and alcohol heavy but nice.

3.8Can (9/29/20) pour from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is cloudy light brown with nice sparkle, 3-finger width off-white foamy head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is pine resin, citrus and malt backbone. Taste is strong pine and malt. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, old school with piney, malty mix. Good strength to aroma and flavor but not complex or novel.
3.6Can from Mr tfontana, thanks for the trade!
Lightly hazy light gold in color with a huge frothy white head that persists. Big bready toasty light caramel maltiness with plenty of pine and resin to counter. Light earthy fruitiness as well as a bit of spicy alcohol flavor.
3.9Canned 9/29/20, consumed Nov/'20: Nose of sweet straw; fluffy white head with gold hue; full mouthfeel with soft / smooth carbonation; taste is candi sugar with sweet melon & pine and with medium bitterness. Has a salacious bitter sweet finish.
3.716-ounce can pours slightly hazy golden orange with a 3/4" creamy beige head and lots of clingy lacing. Aroma: honey, orange, pine. Flavor: caramel, honey, malt vinegar, grapefruit, pine, white pepper, dry toast. Mouthfeel: medium- to full-bodied with a somewhat slick, yet bone dry, finish; the hop-induced dry finish is a tad too astringent.
3.716oz can. Pours copper-gold with a medium off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, caramel, orange, pine, floral hops, a little lemon, and a hint of booze. Taste is caramel, grapefruit, pine resin, slight lemon, a touch of mango, and spice. Drying, spicy finish. Solid bitterness. Medium-full body. Moderate carbonation. Oily-pillowy mouthfeel.
3.9Light citrus aromas. Gold and hazy in color with great head. Taste is of caramel malts, grapefruit, tangerine, light pine, faint tropical notes.
4.0Can from City Beer: pours clear copper with a white head. Aroma is loads of pine and grapefruit. Taste is solidly bitter, pretty sweet, actually quite juicy. Lingering aftertaste. Very nice.
3.9Amber color with a medium white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Floral hops, citrus, sweeter toffee malts, orange candy, pine, grapefruit, and light booze.
4.122oz bottle. Poured a cloudy golden color with an averaged sized head.Citrus, pine and juicy fruits.
4.0The Aromas are not fresh resin Hops and caramel malt. Flavors are like nose, oxidized resin hops and caramel malt. Slightly soft carbonation good body but I'm really not that impressed. Update: Citrus and mango hop aromas with some caramel. Flavors are bittersweet again with the Citrus and mango and caramel coming out more. Increasing bitter finish with full body and good carbonation. Much better beer this time around.
4.3cloudy light gold with a frothy head and a little lacing, chock full of citrusy hops and aromatics, this beer was on tap at vintage estates on a trip. really full mouth though the it is highly tilted to the hops side.
3.5Pours a mostly clear dark golden with a dull white head. Sweet lemon and caramel malt nose. Flavors are the same with some clove. Healthy mouthfeel and a bit oily. Drinks pretty cleanly. Finishes with mild bitterness.
4.0Amber golden color with frothy white head. Orange pekeo, spiced apple, peaches in the nose. Slightly sweet. Big malty backbone lots of stone fruit, spiced apples and orange pekeo. Really well balanced. A touch sweet. Very nice
3.9Bomber to celebrate the end of an era. Good-bye cape cod. Pours a slightly hazy orange with big aromas of pineapple, caramel and a touch of papaya. Flavor is a big burst of that tropical hops presence with a bit of ABV warmth and some sugary malt. It comes together very well.
4.38/1/18: $12 22 oz bottle purchased at Three Floyds Munster, two pours into pint glass. Orange pour, thin white head, heavy carbonation. Strong citrus lemon hops aroma. Very strong dry taste and mouth feel, excellent hops blend, balanced with citrus. Drinks smoother and easier than the strong ABV. Solid mouth feel, bitter, carbonation and dryness holds, Overall excellent offering, worth the trip to Munster!
3.9Solid DIPA with abv well masked. brewed with pig destroyer! It was fairly big bodied dipa with pretty hefty malt presence but tons of hops piney and citrus to balance out the big body. Went down pretty smooth despite all this.
3.7(Draught at Beavertown Brewery Tap, Tottenham Hale, London, 26 May 2018) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, passion-fruit, orange peel and resin. Fruity, malty, hoppy taste with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, pink grapefruit, mango, resin, sweet malt and warming alcohol in a finish with a generous bitterness. Full body, with chewy mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Warming and quite powerful, with lots of hops and tropical fruit. Nice one.
5.0Tasty
4.3Taster at Mondial de la Biere 2018 Montreal. Really fruity, citrus, peach, tangerine. Strong moutfeel, but cannot taste the alcohol at all. Perfectly balanced.
3.9Trying to catch up on 150 or so ratings. Scores were memorialized at time of tasting, tasting notes were limited.
4.3Floral and citrus hops with a bread and caramel toasted malt aroma. Cloudy appearance with an orange color with a frothy head. Sweet, fruity taste. Feel is medium-thick, with a filling, grainy texture.
4.2I mean, it is really good, but I think I've had much better Imperial IPA's before. Little bit let down.
3.3Doesn’t smell like much. Nice looking, a bit dark for the style with a tiny cream colored ring of foam. Honey malt sweetness with a moderate punch of citrus rind hops. Great palate, by far the best aspect of this beer. It’s hard for me to criticize 3F but I’m not feeling this one.
3.7Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours hazy orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, orange marmalade, tangerine, candy, sherbet, orange blossom and brioche. The taste is crisp, dry, fairy soft, lemony, orange blossom, warming booze, resin, bready, citrus rind, bread and earth. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Good old-skool hop juice.
3.6September 2017 - Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Three Floyds Permanent Funeral'. Dark amber orange, hazy and translucent, foamy off-white head. Aroma is resinous, tangerine and orange. Body is light and a little frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is orange, rich sugars, not much complexity, resinous with a spicy and boozy finish. Probably impressive in its heyday - less so now but chuffed to get the chance to try it. (6-4-7-4-15=3.6)
3.8Bottle from Val-U. Pours a deep gold to light marigold yellow with a finger of foam that lingers. Big piney, resin notes with grapefruit, bright orange, malt and honey aromas as it warms. Good balance between sweet and bitter. Orange & apricot come through on the palate. More resin, toasted caramel and citrus zest. Finish has a good jolt of bitterness, but still balanced.
