2.3Aroma : Lightly toasted sweet bready caramel malt, some indistinct citrus fruit with a light piney/earthy note. Taste : As aroma. Light citric bitterness throughout, but far from the promised 'Intense hit of hops' more like a less inspiring APA than a robust IPA
3.3330 ml can. Pours a clear amber with a smallish head. Aroma light mandarin and grapefruit. Taste of citrus and pine and some bitterness at the end.
2.5Ну такое, по горечи соответствует, а цвет скорее темный янтарь чем темное. Из особенностей в запахе хлеб и скорее ржаной.
3.0Amber coloured, short lived while head. Aroma malty, with a hint of citrus. Taste is fairly bitter but marred by an aftertaste of rye. OK.
3.2Pours copper with white head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy and caramel. Flavour is medium to heavy bitter, light sweet and pine.
3.2Bottle - Pours a clear amber with a smallish head and a light mandarin aroma. OK mouthfeel, somewhat juicy citrus and pine and some bitterness at the end. Decent IPA.
3.3Can from London Bridge. First drink of the weekend on the train so for that reason alone it was great. Otherwise, OK, nothing too special but certainly not offensive
4.2Świetny aromat owoców cytrusowych i egzotycznych, wyczuwalna żywica. W smaku jest naprawdę dobrze. Pijalne piwo.
0.8I was walking the pier, having a not so good day, when I stumbled across 13 guns. my mood was lifted instantly, until I opened the can that is. The smell instantly burned my nostrils causing my sinuses to flare up. I was shocked. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt so I dived in head first to what was the worst experience of my life. I've been through a divorce that was smoother then this beverage. The taste of ass has been lingering in my mouth for 3 days now. Overall, wouldn't recommend.
3.6330ml bottle. Pours dark amber with a very thin tan head. Aroma of peppery spice, bread, biscuit, malts, grapefruit. Woody, earthy and floral. Taste is more of the same with a orangey grapefruit kick in the finish. Light to medium body. Very enjoyable.
4.3Crisp IPA with pleasant bitterness and fruity flavours. Probably more suited to a quick drink after work than for experience seekers (who may find it rather standard).
3.1Very nice dark ipa, very refreshing
3.4Mild smell of hops, some citrus. Dark amber colour, high beige head. Aroma of spruce, orange peel, some earth in finish. Also hints of malts. Medium bitter, half flat carbon. Medium dry palate. Decently balanced.
3.0Flaska på Manna la Rosa, Tallinn. Bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. Hyffsat humlig, mest drag åt skog.
4.5I bought this beer from Morrison’s and it was a really nice IPA . Great hoppy taste, Amber in colour. Would recommend
3.5Orange color, middle foam size. Good balanced beer. Drinkable and fits into style.
3.2Bottle from Darts Farm, Topsham. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are bread, malt, caramel, little fruits, hops and has a light bitter finish.
3.4Bottle from a Carrefour in Metz - many thanks, Anke! Pours clear amber with a lasting, unstable, thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of perfume, soap, red apple, pear, biscuit, grapefruit peel, paprika, fried onion. Taste is light fruity sweet, ripe apple & pear on biscuity maltiness, revolving around a hoppy bitter core of grapefruit, orange peel, accentuated by spicy pepper & onion, leading to a dry, piney hoppy finish, lingering maltiness, grapefruit, bit of a soapy effect. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good 'standard' IPA, balanced but also torn between two worlds.
3.4330ml bottle drunk on a cloudy July evening. Pours clear dull amber with not a lot of head or lacing but plenty of fast-rising carbonation. On the nose, pine resin, herbs, ripe citrus, cream caramel. In the mouth, bitterness from the start, some sweetness to balance it, biscuit, honey and caramel malts kept in check by citrus and tropical fruit hops, light carbonation, medium texture with dry bitterness taking over at the back of the palate, hoppy flavours into the finish. More old-school Bitter than IPA, but not a bad drop if that's what you're into.
2.2Nothing special, just a decent commercial IPA.
3.5A lot of caramel, toffee and rich malt flavour backed up by tropical fruits but without overpowering the malty base.
2.5Malty beer. Biscuit and bready. Rye aromas are powerful. Not much hoppy. Flowery taste. A bit bitter finishing. Exactly an english ipa. Cloudy appearence. Buttery smell. Not much foamy
0.9Very poor. What you’d expect from a mainstream brewer trying jump on the craft bandwagon. Picked up a can at Victoria Station with high hopes thinking small brewer APA... would could go wrong? Then tasted. No resemblance at all to the APAs I’ve come to know and love. Then spotted Thwaites on the back of the can in slightly smaller font than the message telling me not to drink if pregnant. Stick to your roots guys. Never again
3.3Malt comes to the fore in both aroma and taste. Medium bitter backbone runs through and lasts nicely at the end.
4.3Juicy juicy juicy, tropical taste with pine, apricot, soft sweet and very good bitter! Nice
3.431.03.2019. 0,33l Can. Wine and beer store at Charing Cross Road, London. Golden dark Amber colour with white head. Very fresh hoppy aroma. Grassy with spruce and pine. Oily texture. Pretty rich with a good malty body. Sharp hoppy bitterness armt the end.
3.1Bottle 0,33L. Clear, dark cooper color with small, frothy, off-white head. Malty aroma with gentle fruity touch. I expected much more after reading what kinf of hops were used. Light sweet/light bitter start with caramel notes. Finish is medium to heavy bitter notes of burnt caramel and cask wood. Typical English bitter/ipa.
3.8330 mL
Jaka aroma, lijepa bakrena boja, ali bez pjene..
Okus prepun citrusa i agruma te izrazite gorcine.. vrlo dobro pivo..
3.4Bottle at home from a French supermarket. Clear deep amber/copper with beige head. Soft toffee and bread, grassy hops, lime peel, dank weeds, drying grass, chicory. Quite malty but there’s also some ‘green’ hops with bitter fruit, leaves and a bit of pine. Light milky and cardboard. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. Quite OK.
3.0Botella @ Brewery Õlleklubi, Tallinn. Toasty malty caramel fruity hoppy aroma. Flavour: Sweet malty caramel, fruity hops, ok bitterness. The labels reads: "An intense hit of hops" ....... I disagree to that....
