2.7 0.25 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before May 2021. Clear, deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fairly fruity aroma of peach, sherbet and a touch of gooseberry. Quite sweet, a little sourish, rather fruity taste of peach, sherbet and a touch of sparkling wine, followed by a short, minimally tart finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Drinkable but way too sweet, where's the lambic?!
2.9 God, fruktig
2.7 bottle that pours clear light gold with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. sweet peach, david's tea *TM fake dehydrated peaches, very light acidity not coming from "fruit", light sulphuric notes, faint herbal notes as well, plain white sugar sweetness. moderate carbonation, light body, sweet but not cloying fruity finish. just like its strawberry brother, them peach flavours are unmistakebly artificial and very much akin to peach-flavoured soft center candies like kerr's *TM. respecting its clientele, but disrepecting lambic. ugh.
2.6 Aroma; sour peaches, herbs, candies. Look; off-white head on silky golden body. Taste; peaches, apples, herbs, sugar, and finishes sweet. Feel; ok body n co². Overall; it`s juicy.
3.1 Bottle 25cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Strong peach nose. Clear medium golden colour, huge frothy white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma ripe peaches, candy sugar. Taste light heavy sweet and light sourish, peach, candy. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, sweet and sourish aftertaste, sugary notes, refreshing, easy to drink, actually quite okay.
2.9 Bottle @ Håndverkeren. More than less clear golden body with a small white head. It smells a bit like canned peach with some acidity. Flavor is sweet peach, syrup with some balancing acidity. Disappointing for a lambic based beer, but otherwise not bad as a refreshing fruit beer. Compared with todays fashioned sweet and fruity beers without any bitterness this should have a fair chance, but without a fancy label and a hyped brewery name it’s a dead end. Not very impressive but way better than the overall score indicates IMO.
0.5 at De Graaf van Vlaanderen 1 sip of this stuff was enough; peach ice tea with a little alcohol, okay it has a fruity acidity and a co2 bitter tone but it is not a beer
3.1 Clear deep golden colour. Small white head. Nose: peach jam, hints of barnyard, cheese. Light body. Taste: light sweet, light sour, moderate peach, barnyard, green apple peel, autumn leaves. Tart ending. Quite short. I was afraid it would be sweeter. Considering that not bad.
2.7 Backlog, Bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a white head. Notes are painfully fake lambic and sweet like all their offerings. Syrupy candy peach and fruit. Cloying.
3.6 Bottle: 330 ml, Price: 1,85 eur Limonas, malonus kvapas, skanu..
3.4 Bottle from JK Fine Foods. Bright, clear orange with a small white lacing. Nose is full of peach cordial sweetness. There's a light mineral softness. Tiny alcohol heat leading to a sharp dry finish. Medium-light bodied with bubbly carbonation. It's really easy drinking. I do prefer Pecheresse for my "ridiculously easy drinking fruit beer" but this is a fine alternative.
2.8 Bottle. Dark golden color, almost white foam. Aroma: peach, other fruits, a little sugary, sweet, nectar and compote. Taste: sweet, peach, compote, sourness, a little bitterness, mediocre.
3.6 Very sweet. Nice peachy aroma. Low in alcohol. Not overly noticeable as a lambic. Certainly no sourness. A easy summer drink.
3.5 Ljusorange med tunt vitt skum. Doftar sött och fruktigt, persika, lite ananas och mango. Smaken fyllig och söt. Eftersmaken tämligen lång med lite fruktig sötma.
4.0 De Alcampo. En copa Teku. Leyendo Intro to Python Ch16.
2.9 Bright golden color with a small head. Aromas of peach. Taste similar. Sweet with a wierd aftertaste: tart it should be. Light body and carbonation. Overall nice, refreshing. I would expect to be a bit sour as most lambic.
3.0 25cl bottle at Eetcafé Groothuis, Emmen. Poured by the waiter. Appearance: clear deep golden to amber with medium sized white head. Aroma: peach, slightly tart, sugarry. No funk. Taste: high sweetness, no bitterness and subtle tartness. Notes of peach, peach candy and quite sugarry sweet malts. Palate: medium bodied, watery yet slightly sticky texture and medium carbonation. Overall: very sweet, easily drinkable and quite enjoyable, but there is (close to) no lambic character in this one.
5.0 Get this on draught at Bar Fringe in Manchester. Superb in every way.
2.7 250 ml bottle, as Timmermans Pêche Lambicus, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sugary aroma of peach candy and ripe peaches. Medium sweet flavour of peaches and peach candy, very little acidity. Not much lambic character here.
2.8 330ml bottle. Pours a clear gold-orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, apricot, peach and musty yeast. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, peach, sugar and yeast with a mildly tart finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Very sweet, lacks any Lambic qualities. Refreshing however, but in a peach soda sort of way. More of a fruit beer.
3.2 Aroma: Strong peach notes. Appearance: Gold color with clear liquid and white head. Taste: Medium/heavy sweetness with light bitter notes. Palate: Light body with thin texture and average carbonation. Long sweet peach finish. Overall: Very fresh and easy to drink. Sweet but not too much.
2.3 250ml bottle. Pours gold. Peach, apricot, banana, yoghurt, biscuit, cardboard, carbonated water, bit of rotting veg towards the finish. Nice spritzy body. The banana note is weird and the finish is downright unpleasant. Normally I find that I like even the low rated Belgian fruit beers, but this one is actually pretty bad.
3.0 Bottle at dockyard Manchester. Nose is peach, apricot, banana. Palate is sour Peach, orange, apricot. Not too bad, just a bit too sweet.
3.2 Bottle (as Timmermans Oeche Lambicus 4%). Pours golden with whiteish head. Aroma is massive peach, sweetness. Flavor is sweet and sour, peaches, metallic notes, sugar. Finish is sugary and peaches. Overall: ok sugar coated peaches lemonade.
