5.0 I had wanted to try this beer, and by luck I found it in a box set at my local grocery store. I've tried lambics before but this caught me off guard. The aroma made me think of fresh cut strawberries, the kind for strawberry shortcake. I expected a candy strawberry, but it didn't smell artificial. The taste was well balanced. It was surprisingly tart, then the only sweetness came from the strawberry taste, which was subtle. It ended on a tiny bitter note. It was a delightful fresh beer. It felt like it would be the perfect summer beer. Instead of having the stereotypical lemonade after working hard in the garden, you have a strawberry beer.
2.7 Can at home in Hackney - sourced via the Trembling Madness in York. Beer named as 'Strawberry Lambic'. Very sweet, very basic. Some juicy, somewhat artificial strawberry character dominates. There's little to no acidity or tartness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, more juicy, lightly jammy strawberries. Quite simplistic. Drinkable in the way soda is.
2.7 15-12-18 // old bottle from a shop in Belgium. BBD March 2012 - clear dark golden. Artificial strawberry nose. Very sweet strawberry joghurt aromas.
3.2 250 ml bottle. Clear reddish color with small white head. Smells strawberries and bubble gum. Taste are a bit sour strawberries with some bubble gum and little raspberry taste. Easy drinkable and refreshing beer. Average time aftertaste sour strawberries and huba buba gum
3.3 De Alcampo. En copa Teku. Jugando a Avernum 6. Fresa bastante intensa, natural y agradable, tanto en nariz como en boca, aunque aun mejor la de melocoton. Poco de lambic, solo tiene la acidez propia de la fruta que lleva
3.0 Sampled July 2016; Labeled as Strawberry Lambicus Produced on date 17/10/12 A vigorous pour produces a two-finger thick, tan colored head. The beer is a lightly hazed, light amber color. The aroma smells of candied strawberries, with maybe a hint of toasted pale malt, and something that seems a bit chemical, perhaps cleaner like, though this last is somewhat subtle and not noticeable at times. The beer is sweet, though not cloying, with a finish that has a strawberry flavor to it that is not too overwhelming. There is an undercurrent of oxidation that adds a Sherry'ish nuttiness to the flavor. The beer has a light-medium carbonation that provides a touch of a tickle to the palate as the beer rolls across it, and the body has a viscosity to it from the residual sugar. There is a light tartness to the this beer that is pervasive throughout each sip, but other than that there is no real funkiness. This is not as bad, cloying, and sweet as I was expecting it to be. It is still rather simplistic in its fruit focus. Simplistic, but not horrible.
2.7 Tap. Pours raspberry with foamy top. Aroma is strongly strawberry in a way icecream is but the fruit isn't and little else penetrated this artificial fragrance. Taste is similarly hyper sweet and fairly relentless. Palate is medium to light body sticky texture average carbonation and a sugary residue. As a drink in the garden on a sunny afternoon this could work for some, but it is barely bet.
3.0 330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pink-orange with a small, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of strawberries, bready malt and faint Belgian yeast. Sweet flavour of pale malt, strawberries and light yeast with a crisp, dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not as sweet as I thought it would be, but still very soda-like.
3.3 This makes for a lovely aperitif. Sweet, genuine, natural strawberry taste. Works for non-beer lovers too. Can't understand the low score.
3.5 Very tasty and refreshing beer. Very well balanced beer with very strong flavours of fresh strawberries.
2.4 Slightly hazy orange reddish color with off-white head. Aroma is sweet and syrupy with fruit soda notes. Taste follows with sweet artificial notes like hard candy and soda. Medium body and carbonation. Not one of the good fruit beers, even from the sweet ones.
4.2 Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a chalice at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA. The appearance is a gold amber color and a medium sized white head. The aroma is a blend of strawberry yogurt and jelly. The taste has a mild strawberry flavor with a slight tartness and a dry finish.
3.2 Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a clear red colour with a fluffy light pink head. Aroma of strawberry, slight wheat and subtle yeast. Taste of strawberry, some wheat, slight yeast and subtle tartness. Light bodied and a slick texture. A sweet, strawberry finish. Another solid fruit lambic from Timmermanns. Sweet, subtley tart and a hint of wheat and yeast.
3.2 Hazy reddish. Pinkish stable head. The aroma is strawberries, vinegar, starch. Light body. The flavour combines dry lambic notes with syrupy fruitiness. Low bitterness. Pretty drinkable.
2.9 As Strawberry Lambicus, bottle 25cl. from a local Vomar supermarket, poured into a stem glass. Strong fruity nose, cloudy pale to medium amber, small fizzy off-white head, quite stable, good lacing; aroma strawberry, canned strawberries, bubblegum, candy sugar; taste heavy sweet, slightly sour, strawberries, light tart, bubblegum; light body, sticky texture, lively carbonation; mixed feelings very sweet but saved by that light sourish tart touch.
3.2 330ml bottle pours a pinkish red colour with a finger of fizzy pinkish head that dissipates quickly leaving only a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is strawberries with a hint of yeast. Taste is a light strawberry tartness with a fruity and malty sweetness. Light bodied with generous carbonation. Overall, seems to be more syrupy than fresh fruit, making this a bit too sweet for my tastes.
3.6 Bottle 250ml Price: 0,99 eur. Raudonas su nemaža puta. ... Būtų galima gerti vietoj kompoto..

3.0 Visual: Aluminum foil covered. Pours opaque cloudy scarlet red with a nice 2cmm frothy head, 1mm layer of retention, clusters of very active micro streams. Nose: huge authentic fruity sweet strawberry puree, magnificent. (lvl-10)-pungency Attack: tangy-tart, subdued sour, fruity sweet Mid-palate: (lvl-6-sweetness), real strawberry-tangy puree, background barley malt Finish: wheat malt rough palate dry, strawberry exhale Summary: The barley tastes very generic and is mainly covered up by the strong fruity strawberry presence. Decent strawberry flavour, but it comes across as very candy-esque, straightforward, and uninteresting after a few sips. Wicked aroma though.
3.1 Keg at ushers. Pours reddish amber, nose is sugary, strawberry, taste is sickly sweet strawberry.
2.8 Bottle - Milky and creamy strawberry. Reddish orange with a creamy pink white head. Sweet syrupy strawberry, some creamy notes and a finish that is a bit too long.
2.9 Piwo metne w kolorze pomaranczowo czerwonym z niezbyt obfita biala sredniopecherzykowa piana ktora bardzo szybko znika bez sladu. W aromacie i smaku slodkie truskawki z kompotu z odrobina kwasnosci. Wydaje sie byc dosc sztuczne w odbiorze, za slodkie z niezbyt przyjemnym posmakiem gumy balonowej. Wysycenie na srednim poziomie, kwasnosc niezbyt intensywna i malo swieza.
3.1 Draught. Pours a cloudy light pink with a fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of strawberry, very sweet. Taste is of more strawberry, not much else, lightly tart. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation.
3.2 Some strawberry with some burnt notes. Not as bad as everyone has rated it but not among the better lambics. Only light lambic bretta aroma here. Seems like they have a market for this as it’s sold everywhere. Bottle.
3.0 33cl bottle. Pours hazy red with a think light pink head. Aroma: strawberries. Taste: sweet strawberry syrup which is nice, not too artificial, but it’s followed by a slightly unpleasant off-tasting flavour, maybe some malt or another quite sour/tart fruit, not sure. Medium body and carbonation.
3.4 Draft to pint glass Consummation: Strawberry, syrup Adjunct: strawberry aroma; reddish amber
2.8 Strong strawberry...but also lots of apple overtones. Lambic didn't stand out. Too much wine,
2.1 330ml bottle from the Assembly Rooms, Epsom. Pours reddish brown with a white head. Fruit aroma. Artificial fruit taste. Sweet finish.
2.9 At Maakun’s. Bottle shared by Maakun. Sweet strawberry syrup, peach candy, maltiness, bubblegum. Over medium sweet and a light sour pinch. Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.0 Bottle shared at home. Clear pink golden with off white head. Sweet strawberry, light funk and lemon, dough, cherries, sugary, mint. Medium sweet and light sour. Under medium bodied with soda like carbonation.
