Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus

Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus

There is no other beer like Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus anywhere in the world because it is the only white lambic beer. By adding spices such as coriander and dried orange zest, a light, fruity beer is created. It is subtly spicy and deliberately made cloudy. Should ideally be drunk from an authentic stoneware pot.

3.6 Part of the LCBO Spring 2020 Beer Program (I think), shared with my nephew, since he likes white ale, and taken while getting the supper ready. A nice attempt, for those who likes white and lambic, it is worth a try.
3.5 opalescent orange-ish golden colour, one inch of quickly collapsing off-white head; aroma of lemon zest, coriander, wet-wheaty-yeasty and appple cidery notes; taste has the same notes with definite citric and slight acetic acidy notes; it's like a mixture of a witbier and a lambic - but still I would not categorize it as a witbier (as it is categorized currently)
3.8 37,5cl corked bottle @ Doyy. Cloudy golden, foamy white head. Citrus forward, orange, floral, light acidity and funk, vanilla, earthy, lightly bitter. Medium body and carbonation.
3.7 An orange-tinged clear gold. Sweet malt, with a slight sour-apple tang. Fresh orange with a little herbal throughout. Super refreshing.
3.6 2020/05/09 - Pour a translucent orange straw colour with a soapy white head that quickly reduces and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is lime, green apple, coriander, spices, soap and light funk. Taste is lime, light funk and spices. Mouthfeel is medium with soft carbonation and a long, mildly tart finish. Odd.
3.7 Corked 33CL bottle from LCBO. Pours a good pale clear gold and white froth, smooth bubble. Aroma is some barnyard and sour mash, some funk. Taste is an interesting and subtle affair, showing lemon, leather, oak, and hints of oxidation from what may be aged hop. Fruity acidity is at least interesting, slightly vinous with hints of cellar stone. Definitely lighter body and the lambic lends a sourdough and lactic acidity to the simpler sweet Ale aspect. The tart pale fruit shows up later, kind of good tangy complex and subtle. This isn't super great or bad. It will please a middling audience, and with the light tartness might be good served cold in flutes as a palate warmer with smoked meats and interesting cheeses. I'd likely purchase this again.
3.8 Fanatyk Piwa is drinking a Timmermans Lambicus Blanche / Witte Lambic by Brewery John Martin & Brewery Timmermans at Kufle i Kapsle Bardzo przyjemne, mocno kwaśne, fajnie nuty funky, lekkie cytrusy.
3.6 Si presenta chiara (non troppo) e limpida. Acidità presente ma non invadente. Frizzantezza media. Rinfrescante. Un poco aspra. Impressione di oggi: a volte era meglio..
3.5 Bottle of Lambicus Blanche into a Lambicstoempers glass, it's deep gold with a fast-settling head and a classic tangy-tart nose but also with touches of spice and a hint of those peach jelly sweets. Sour with tart-sweet fruitiness, a drying ascorbic (hibiscus) note and hints of citrus and coriander. Good, though a little cloying in the finish.
3.4 Lemon, hibiscus herbal tea with a slight hint of eucalyptus. Similar flavour. Mild acidity and light carbonation.
3.4 37,5 cl bottle, served in wine glass. Poured hazy amber with two finger off white head. Aroma: lemon, orange peel, apples, Brett, funk, coriander, vanilla, oak, heather. Taste: lemon, coriander, orange, light tartness, funk, green apples, Brett, caramel, candi sugar, Fanta, sweet white wine. Light to medium body. Light tartness and dryness in the finish. Overall a bit too sweet and sugary and reminded me too much of drinking Fanta...
2.9 Not too aromatic, taste of limonade and lime. I little hint of soap. Not a lambic to remember
3.0 From tap at Cardinal with JFE before Mi2 23.09.19. Hazy straw colour. Some white lacing. Acid aroma and taste of lemonade, sour lemon juice and lime juice with a gentle touch of soap. Dry and astringent mouthfeel.
3.2 Za słodki zdecydowanie, a jednocześnie pusty w smaku. Dzikość grzeczna, kwaśność niska. Ogólnie bardzo dużo jabłek, cydrowości.
3.5 37.5cl bottle at home, bought at the Bierverteller. Appearance: rich golden with medium sized white head. Aroma: brett, vinegar, apricot jam, some red apple. Taste: above medium sweetness, medium bitterness and pretty high tartness. Notes of citrus/citric acid going towards red apple, brett and some banana. Palate: medium bodied, slick texture and quite lively carbonation. Overall: tasty. Hard to compare with, and review as, witbier imo. Definitely a beer of its own kind. Nice combination of the two belgian styles. As a witbier, I think it has lost alltraditional witbier characteristics. Therefore a lower style score.
3.3 375 ml bottle. Pours unclear golden, almost no head. Vinegar, basement notes, brett funk, acidic notes, apple wine, dry white wine, coriander. Dry sourness. Medium bodied, milky watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sour finish.
2.1 Very light yellow. Small head. Smells like coriander. Taste is white wine vinegar with sugar added. Not good.
Droge afdronk. M: Doordrinker met medium carbonatie.
3.7 Not the best for a lambic style sour. A bit too heavy sweet, but not on a fruity way. All around good beer though. online beerwulf
1.9 Synthetic aroma added! That is a no go, though, they have done it quite OK. Moreover, they added a lot of sugar. This is the way to make a lot of revenues by selling cheap Lambic beer. The beer is still decent not totally bad and there are way way worse beers (fruitesse liefmanns) but it is not a good beer. Simple as that. Taste: slightly fruity (aroma), some great goat acids from lamib wild yeasts resp. lactic acids, slight wit notes and a lot of sugar.
4.5 Clear golden with a white head that dilapidates quickly. Aroma is a bit frothy, grainy, sour. Taste is sour, but not too much, nice Lambik flavour but a little milder combined with the grainy/wheaty touch. Very good.
2.5 Botella @Timmermans (John Martin) Itterbeek 04/05/19 Color amarillo pajizo, aromas a levadura cereal, sabor levadura, notas a trigo, floral, floja.
2.7 Bottle. Golden color, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: wildly, malt, bretts, sweet, slightly dried apples. Taste: sweet-sour, apple, bretts, moderate acid, tart, bitter, mediocre.
3.1 Rami Rami is drinking a Timmermans Blanche Lambicus by Brewery John Martin & Brewery Timmermans at Kufle i Kapsle Taki perfumowany kwiatowo-przyprawowo ciut, i na szczescie kolendra w tle tylko.
Trochę szkoda braku jakiejś dzikości i kwaśności, fajnie by to przełamywało profil piwa.
3.0 Clear golden colour with almost no head. Malty, very sweet, candy sugar, earthy, hints of apple, lively carbonation.
