3.3Picked this up in Greece of all places. Big sweet cherry, nose. Taste is heavy on the sweet cherry, mild malt in there somewhere, barely there funk, fairly sweet.
3.8From 330ml bottle. Basically does what it’s supposed to do. A good cherry beer with a strong sweet cherry taste. Might not be to every beer purists taste, but will appeal to non beer drinkers.
2.4Vom Fass. Rotes Bier mit hellrosa Schaum. Amarenakirsche und Marzipan in der Nase. Kirsche im Antrunk. Auch irgendwie süss. Dann wässerig. Marzipan im Abgang. Ich hatte schon bessere Kriek.
3.0Klares rot mit relativ wenig Schaum. Sehr fruchtig, Kirschlimonade, etwas Sauerkirsche, sehr spritzig.
3.1250ml bottle. Clear ruby red color. Tiny to almost no head. Sweet, sourish, cherry, bit acidic in aroma. Sour, cherry, sweet in taste. Sweet, sour and cherries in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Tad too sweet for me. Drinkable brew.
3.3Raspberry red pink head and lacing tinned cherry with a peep of sourness coming through cherry tastes artificially sweet but is decent all the same.
3.3Some cherry and light grapefruit. Chery red pour with ok head and lacing. Tangy sweet finish. Ok but not mich here. Bottle.
3.033cl bottle. Pours a lovely deep red, thin light pink head. Aroma strongly of sweet artificial cherries. Taste is sour but then a lot of sweetness, predominantly cherry flavoured, a bit artificial and bubblegum-like, tart, low carbonation. Not bad but have preferred most other fruit lambics I’ve tried to this.
1.4[backlog] 18-02-15 / bottle at The Castle Hotel, Melbourne. A bit sour, very sweet cherry jucie aroma. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 1.5/5
2.9Robe rubis, fine mousse. Nez assez discret, surtout un coté acidulé, et des céréales, légère note de cerise acidulée. Bouche à l’attaque acidulée, fine bulle, finale assez courte. Une kriek décevante.
3.0Bottle shared on the train to Birmingham Beer Bash 2016. Pours a clear blood red, frothy pinkish white head. Aroma is pure cherry juice, much cleaner, juicier and sweeter than Lindemans but like the strawberry lacks any real bite or depth. Harmless enough I guess.
2.6Bottle in wine glass. Has a simple aroma of straightforward artificial candyesque cherry which follows on the taste without any mentionable complexity. Thin but pleasant.
3.025cl bottle. Artificial sparkly sour cherries, lots of added sweetness. Tastes like a syrup, but not entirely in a good way. Unbalanced.
2.9Pours hazy red with a small, short lasting pink head. The aroma contains cherries, vanilla, marzipan, candy and jam. It tastes medium sweet with next to no tartness. Thin texture, light body, soft carbonation, refreshing.
2.7Bottle. Dark red colour, pink foam. Very sweet candy-like nose. Light tart notes from lambic.
2.8Bottle 0,25.
Red color. Fresh cherry aroma. Taste: cherry, sweet/sour in balance, refreshing.
3.5A bright red colour, aroma is dominated by lovely cherry, mildly sour. The cherry continues in the taste, nice balance of sweetness and sourness. Finish is quite quick and the palate is pretty flavorless. Overall nice kriek with a superb quality-price ratio.
3.1Bottle at home. Pours deep red, no head. Aroma is prettu much just cherry. Bit abrupt ending. Medium sweetness, medium sourness.
3.4Pours a ruby red color, dark and clear, topped with a small white head. Strong cherry syrupy aroma, very intense. Soury sweet fruity tase, cherry feel all over. A hint of yeast in the back. Very lovely and fruity. Nice one.
3.2Cloud red color, small pink-ish head. Nice cherry aroma and taste, medium sour. Thin body, average carbonation. Okay.
3.6Fresh from barrel into a tulip glass showing moderately filtered and deep dark red with no head.
The nose shows extremely astringent cinnamon and cherries.
The palate shows no carbonation (this is probably my fault) and full bodied with a cherry forwardness of bing cherries. Moderate tartness.
2.9F: pink, average, quick gone.
C: dark red, clear.
A: dark cherries, canned cherries, candy, light wood, sour.
T: Timmermans Kriek Lambicus, ABV 4%, light sour cherries, some woody, cake, hint of malt, very light body, good carbonation, refreshing and good but I am afraid some commercial forces, 0,25l bottle from Match supermarket in Brussels.
3.3Good balanced, medium sweet and sour, semi-dry fruit beer with for every day. Not so dry as Boon Kriek, not so sweet as Brasserie Lefebvre Belgian Kriek.
3.2Bottle. ABV 4%. Pours red with pinkish head. Aroma: sourish, cherry, malty, flour. Taste is sourish, cherry juice, some sugar. Medium body. Ok.
2.6At Maakun’s. Sharing my bottle from Gall & Gall. Clear ruby red with dirty light pink head. Smells incredibly sweet. Marzipan and cherry candy, lemonade syrup. Medium to heavy sweet muted down by watery dusty empty taste. Medium body, light carbonation. Not a great flavor, definitely not a good kriek, decent for a soft drink.
2.5Bottle as Kriek Lambicus 4% ABV shared thanks to sjogro. Clear red with light pink head. Lots of cherry candy on the nose, massive aroma of fake marzipan, I really don’t get much more here, maybe light hay, but the marzipan is overpowering everything. Medium sweet and light lemon sourness in the finish. Under medium bodied. Weird stuff, not very good
