3.5 Okay medium clear copper body and modest foam. Sour malt on the nose, tart and unique. Taste is more sour grain, soft biscuit hints, finishing smooth and dry. Quite enjoyable.

4.4 A classic ale. First time I tried this, at the Victoria Inn, Lincoln, it blew my mind. A national treasure.
3.4 Aroma : Medium toasted toffee maltiness, subtle note of melon and a touch of citrus, with a big fresh green hoppiness. Taste : Medium bodied; smooth texture. Strong dryish hoppy bitterness from the start, with a malty toffee backbone. One of the most flavoursome Pale Ale's there is compared to the often insipidness of this style
4.0 Fat på Charlies Copenhagen. En klassisk ale. Såååå fin fruktig druckit många gånger på denna otroliga bar.
3.6 Clear, deep gold with a creamy white head and a subtle fruit malt aroma. There’s a little kick of bitterness in the taste, before the smooth, fruit malt takes over, then leaves a dry, bitter finish

4.4 Cask at Oliver Twist, stockholm. Small but lpng lasting white head. Clear light amber color. Small malty aroma. Delisious malty taste with the typical English hop taste. This is the way a perfect real ale shpuld taste.

3.9 Cask at Oliver Twist. Almost clear golden liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of creamy malt, earthy hops, light grain, bread, toffee and light floral hops. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of bread, light toffee, earthy hops and light caramel. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Smooth. Great cask beer.
4.8 Cask at the Horse & Radish, Witney. Pours a beautiful bright amber, with a fluffy white head. Subtle caramel aromas, with mild malty flavour and a long dry bitter finish. Classic!
4.1 Copper colour, creamy foam atop. Brown sugar/caramel, creamy, malts, bready, fruit/melon undertones... it really has all you need in a 'standard' bitter. Excellent example of the style.

3.5 Floral, spicy, biscuity aroma, nice English character, clear golden, bitter, biscuity, very drinkable, thin to medium body, pleasant texture, one of the best Bests I have had so far.
3.8 Local fav with good reason
2.9 Moderate aroma of grain, caramel, and a light herbal touch. Moderate flavour that follows the aroma. Light to moderate sweet taste with a light bitter finish. Mid-bodied, close to flat carbonation. A bit anonymous, hopefully anonymous enough to fit to my ale battered haddock. [1/2 pint from cask @ The Nags Head, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England]
