3.2 Solid IPA with plenty of sweet notes from the hops - orange, pineapple, tropical fruit. A little bitterness too. Quite light in the mouth and goes down easily. Will have another!
3.2 Koper oranje helder bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt fruitig, zoet fruit, sopwater, parfum, bloemen. Smaakt hop, bloemen, bitter. Niet mijn favo ipa.
4.0 33cl Bottle from Vonk. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of strawberry, raspberry candy, citrus, passion fruit, orange peel, grapefruit, nice and hoppy. Flavour is light sweet, light malty, crisp, citrusy, grapefruit, peel, some sweetness of red fruit, passionfruit, herbal bitterness, citrusy hops, bitter finish. Light bodied, juicy and dry at the same time. Great little IPA.
4.0 Very nice IPA - not just the normal citrusy hop, but a more mellow flavour, somewhat darker and spicy.
3.7 Bottle Aroma-fruits Appearance-pale, hazy, white foam, Taste-medium bitterness, light sweetness, medium sourness, Palate-light body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter finish Overall-very good
3.8 Sehr süffig und fruchtig, Tropische Füchte, etwas schwarze Kirsche, leichte Schärfe.
3.0 Pours clear copper with thin white head. Nose is flowery. Aromas are citrus (lemon), flowery notes, something like cardboard. Average carbonation, low body. Long unpleasant bitter finish.
3.4 Bouteille @ Scott’s bar.
3.0 Maker: Tiny Rebel Brewery, Newport, Wales, UK *** Beer: Tiny Rebel Urban IPA (bottled, unfiltered, 330ml) *** Style: India Pale Ale (IPA) *** ALC.VOL.: 5.5% *** "A carefully crafted intercontinental blend of hops helps us take traditional IPAs to the next level with Urban IPA. If you’re bored with soulless IPAs drunk by farmers in wellies, it’s time to go URBAN." [brewery note] *** Colour: Deep hazy orange, with a small, creamy off-white head. *** Nose: Tangerines, hints of caramel. Fruity. *** Texture: Medium body, still watery. Modest carbonation. *** Taste: Bitter grapefruit, pine, floral hops at the start. resinous pine in the middle, not much fruitiness left. Mildly bitter, hoppy finish with hints of pine and citrus. Short aftertaste, the same. *** Impressions: Considering the ABV this is a rather bland, one-dimensional IPA that lacks the fruitiness in taste that it has in abundance on the nose. Mild finish, short aftertaste, no real depth. Disappointing.
3.4 Taster at AEON Liquor. Sweet grapefruit, bit of mango, caramel, bittersweet finish. Might be something to do with the importer but this tastes a bit damaged.
3.5 Draught*, cask at the GBBF 2015 (London Olympia) on 14-Aug-2015. Clear orange amber colour with a small white head. Medium body with no carbonation. Aroma of tropical fruits, malt and pine. Flavour - passionfruit, tangerine, grapefruit,, lovely hoppy sweetness with a bittersweet end. Decent IPA, but not so hot on the cask version.
3.7 Pours light amber clear. Aroma is soft and fruity. Sweet without sugar. Taste has nicely balanced hop kick and fruit sweetness. Not so dry at the end. Lingering fruity bitterness. Quite liked it.
3.5 330ml bottle from Ales By Mail. Small bubbly white head, good lacing. Hazy amber body. Nose is tropical fruit, a bit caramel. Flavour is bitter grass, malty biscuit, creamy caramel. Hops taste quite earthy. Good lasting bitterness on the finish, a little spice. Big, full mouthfeel, sharp on the tongue. Decent stuff.
3.4 Cask at GBBF. Orange, still, clear, small white head. Aroma is sweet, piney, pithy citrus. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is grapefruit, straw, rubbery hop finish, soft bitterness. Decent enough IPA, maybe not showcased that well on cask.
3.6 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - ripe oranges, maybe mango, there’s a light biscuit backdrop. Taste - lime and orange, again biscuit at the back. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yes, good example of the style.
3.3 Pours slightly hazy amber with lacy white head. Aroma is bready, slight citrus hops but not too much hop aroma. Taste is sweet, transitions to strong bitterness, but with not too much in the way of hop flavor. I think mine is a little old and has lost some of its aromatics.
3.4 Sampled at SBWF 2103. Huge white head. Opaque amber color. Medium bitterness and a fine hop taste. Small caramell taste and a dry fine finnish.
Hohe Drinkability, Sehr lecker!
3.2 Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours cloudy golden with a frothy head. Grapefruit, citrus and yeast. Bitter and dry. Grapefruit peel. A bit of rubber.
3.7 Nice tipple golden colour small lasting head kiwi mango peach taste nice mouthfeel on cask at the Baum
3.4 Bottled. Pours slightly hazy golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, piney notes and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and decent bitter. Light to medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice IPA. 🌟🌟🌟
3.7 Cask at Hopinn, Newcastle under Lyme. Pours golden amber with off white head. A little pine, some sweetness, easy drinking. Cracking IPA.
3.5 (Bottle 0.33l / half of bottle) Dark orange, murky colour. Medium sized, soay, stable head. High carbonation, light to medium body, slightly oily texture. Aroma: Moderate malty, caramel, medium hoppy, citrus, herbal, soft citrus zest, floralTaste: Soft sweet, caramel. Medium hoppy, citrus, herbal. Pleasant, moderate to medium strong, citrus bitterness. High drinkability
3.6 Bottle at home. Caramel and pine. Moderately bitter. Citrus bite. Moderately hoppy. Good stuff.
3.5 Prezentacja: bursztynowe, lekko zmętnione, piana bardzo obfita, ale gruba i sycząca, opada do kożucha, ładna koronka ; Aromat: słodki, trochę kwiaty łąkowe, miód, alkohol, cukierki ziołowe ; Odczucie: treściwe, wysoko nasycone, oleiste, leciutko zalepia i musuje na języku ; Smak: landrynki, mandarynki, lekka goryczka, przez chwilę prażony słonecznik ; Ogólnie: ciekawy smak .
3.5 Dark golden appearance. Very smooth and creamy tasting. Decent looking head and a very drinkable beer.
3.7 Une IPA classique à la robe ambrée, mousse peu abondante, un nez sur le houblon, le malt, une peu de fruits jaunes, une bouche épicée, fraîche et amère en finale, bel équilibre d’ensemble.
3.2 Gushing to not very big off-white head over amberish orange beer, big bubbled for some time. Sweet exotic fruit, rosewater. Bit of oxydation, cake glaze. Bitterish to bitter, even bit dusty flavour, frutiy. Background malt sweetness, again rosewater. Good balance, but very little highlights. Medium bodied, quite (oil)slick, rather low carbonation, beer feels tired. Euhhh... textbook example of a boring IPA, I’m afraid. Might be a shelflife problem.
3.6 33cl @ bottle. Ipa ambrata dall’aroma profumatissimo. Amaro persistente ma godibile.
3.4 Tap at Pale Ale Festival. Hazy Orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of Lemon, Fruits, a bit dusty. Bitter and grassy!
