3.5 Bottle at home. Golden in colour with a white head and good lacing. Malty aroma with some peppery hop. Sweetish start with a gentle bitterness to balance. Crisp malt notes with some further fruit and hop and a long, dry finish. Good mouthfeel. Better than the sum of it’s parts, a well-crafted tasty pint.

2.5 500ml bottle as 4.5% abv. Clear amber color. Small size, beige bubbly head, stays. Caramel, hay, fruity, buttery, papery in aroma. Onions, papery, grainy, dusty, straw in taste. Old dusty hops in bitterness. Onions and some husky grains in aftertaste. Feels old and dirty. Poor brew.
2.8 Butelka 500ml. Miedziany kolor. Piana biala srednia szybko opada. Karbonacja srednia do wysokiej. Aromat orzechowo karmelowy z chmielowym akcentem. W smaku podobnie: karmel orzechy trawa ciastka i niezly chmielowo-cytrusowy finisz.

4.1 Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 25th September 2016. Clear amber with lasting off-white foam. Intense nutty aroma with almond and hazelnut. Juicy berry fruits in-mouth with rich and intense nuttiness- hazelnut. A hint of ginger. A lush blend of tangy fruits and nutty malts dominate the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Superb!

3.8 OK. We’re all a bit craft beer right now. Sometimes you just need to go old school. Pint at the Cask and Barrel. Pours golden/amber with generous creamy head Smells of caramel and malt, then on the taste is nicely bitter, hints of toffee and lime. Almost IPA-ish, but at base, a bloody drinkable bitter/ale. Bravo. Sessionable to the max.
2.9 On tap at the Bowl Inn, Almondsbury. Pours golden to amber with thick, white head. Aroma is malty and bread dough. Taste is sweet with caramel.
3.1 Purchased from a major supermarket chain mainly cause I hadn’t tried it. Personally I think it is not a bad example of what a golden ale should be like. Great mouth feel and depth of flavour lingering in my mouth for ages.
3.5 the aroma is malty and herbal with shades of grain and spicy grasses... the taste is malty and spicy, rather clear and refreshening with smooth hoppy bitterness... bitter and dry aftertaste...
3.2 Clear golden beer with a thin white head. Light bitter aroma. Flavour is a touch sweet with bitter citrus and hop. Unremarkable but drinkable.
2.8 Bottle from Bargain Booze, New Mills, Derbyshire. Pours amber with thick, frothy white head that lingers longer than with most bottled beers. Aroma is malty and doughy, taste is sweet with caramel and biscuit notes that become a little sickly after a while. Maybe some elderflower. Cloying sweet finish. Enjoyed for a few mouthfuls but got too sweet after that.
2.3 Bottle. Thin white head that dissapated almost immediately, bitter grapefruit aroma and slighty hoppy taste but the bitterness comes through on the tongue. Not bad but not great.
2.9 Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) 4.5% ABV. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, peach, subtle lemon, some bready malt, slight caramel and floral hops. Taste of peach, grapefruit, some passion fruit, a little lemon, subtle caramel and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry but quite harsh, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Decent flavours of citrus and floral hops, started sweet but ended a little dry and astringent. Not the best from Titanic.
2.6 Pours gold with a good head. I found it very bitter with a bit of a harsh after taste. Not one for me.
