To Øl Garden of Eden

There was a time when everyone was walking around naked, in harmony with nature and all its animals. People were just sipping IPAs and on several biblical records, Adam and Eve were putting fruits in their IPA to compliment the fruity mosaic hops. Apricot, Guave, Mango, Passionfruit and Papaya made for a great IPA. Boasting with fruit flavours, this makes an intense IPA, boasting more fruit aromas that you never will come across in any other beer. Cheers!

Ingredients: water, barley malt (Melanoidin, Pilsener), flaked oats, apricot, guava, mango, passion fruit, papaya, Mosaic hops, yeast.

3.7 Hazy orange. Sandy. Nice tropical fruits. Passion. Summer breeze. Candy. Juicy.
3.4 33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrusy notes. Plenty of tropical fruits. Finishing pleasantly bitter.
2.8 52. Way too sour for IPA. Gooseberry sharp
2.0 Bloody awful. I’m sorry I want to like it , and I respect this brewery and their creativity. But this can tasted off. Acidity too high, astringency too high. Great aroma but too much uncooked gooseberry on the palate
3.7 Bottle from Beer52. BB June 2021; Drank Oct 2020 - Hazy orangey gold. Medium frothy white head. Juicy tropical and citrus fruity, mango, apricot, orange. Moderate hop bitterness, piney hops. Pale malts. Sweet-bitter very tropical and citrus fruity piney hoppy. Very drinkable. Liked this. Mega fruity IPA. (2020-10)
3.6 Tap @ C4. Clear yellow with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy (tropical fruits, apricot, guava, papaya, mango, passion fruit). Flavor medium bitter and fruity, ending dry. Medium body, quite flat.
3.6 33cl bottle from Beer52. Thick creamy white head. Very hazy golden pour. Lovely bitterness
4.0 Superb highly fruity IPA, natural fruit bitterness comes from this outrageous fruit cocktail, mango, grapefruit and lychee, apricot adds smoothness and the robust malt ensures it’s not too tart or sharp.
2.7 Zanimljivo i skupo pivo kupljeno u goblet ducanu.. Etiketa bezveze.. Pivo bezlicno.. Nije prelose ali previse vocnog okusa.. Izmjesano puno raznih okusa... Alkohol velik ali se ne osjeti.. Voce ga je popilo.. Ok ali ne bih ga pio ponovo
3.3 Can from Deconinck. Pours hazy orange with a lasting, thin, white head. Aroma has lots of yeast, ripe orange, peach, lychee, mango, biscuit, all rather ripe & dusty. Taste has sweet orange, mango & zesty sour lime, biscuity malty with a thick yeasty accent, bitter stonefruit & pine in the back. Floral hoppy finish, piney & yeasty with dusty ripe fruit. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Really missing the juicy element that's described here, perhaps a bad batch? Too bad...
3.6 330ml can. Pours a hazy gold-orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of caramel malt, orange, apricot, guava, papaya, mango, melon and earthy yeast. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit rind, guava, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, apricot, underripe pineapple and melon in a dry, bitter, piney hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Lots of tropical fruit. Tasty and refreshing.
3.2 Flöska. Clear like Deep golden colout with a medium creamish white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity hoppy with a good maltiness, lots of exotic fruitiness too like papaya and mango, good bitterness which stings a bit. The alcohol notes and the high carbonation is not a good thing though.
2.9 Bitter IPA
4.6 Fruttata, India Pale Ale incredibile. Albicocche, guava, papaia, frutto della passione e mango: tutta polpa. Ruffiana e molto gradevole
3.6 Ar: hoppy, tropical fruit, citrus Ap: orange, creamy head T: fruity, med sweetness, low sourness P: low/med body, long finish
3.7 33 cl bottle poured into a Tulip. Hazy orange colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruit, lots of tropical impressions, spiced hoppy notes. A good old school bitterness that shows this beer isn't the newest haze craze. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish with citrus fruit and tropical impressions. Very enjoyable.
3.7 C: murky orange N: sweet tropical fruit P: resin, pine, zest, hoppy, orange, red grapefruit, grapefruit skin, pomelo, guava, dry hoppy finish.
3.7 Bottle.Dark golden colour with medium white head.Aroma of tropical fruits apricot and mango nice fresh flavors and good nots of hops and malt.
3.2 Excellent big foam on this one with a deep coppery body. Soft floral sweet hops with slight candy notes on the nose. Flavour is big heavy hops with sweet malt notes and hint of juice. A little overbearing on the finish. Still, very drinkable.
3.8 Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus. Bold flavours of tropical fruits (mango, passionfruit, guava) and grapefruit. Slight malt character, with heavy bitter hops. Lingering bitter hop aftertaste alongside tart citrus. Thin body with medium carbonation. Enjoyable.
3.1 Keg at the Beer Pharmacie, Syston. Mid- to dark gold and mostly clear. Tiny uneven film of white head with considerable lacing. Aroma is medicinal and slightly vegetal, with suggestions of fruit notes. Taste is mostly bitter with tropical fruit juice sharpness. I get light notes of guava but it's a bit messy to identify all the fruits involved. The finish is more pleasant with bitter fruit pulp; guava and passionfruit are standing out here. One of those beers where issues abound but it's decent enough to keep you drinking.
3.4 Aroma: Citrus and slight yeast. Flavour: Dry bitter fruits with grapefruit and a dry bitter finish. Colour: Orange with a white head. From: Bottle @ To Øl webshop Jan. 2020.
3.1 Aroma: slightly creamy fruit salad Appearance: big white stable head, sheet lacing, lightly hazy amber Flavour: big acidic fruit juice, Palate: lingering hop bitterness and light fruit
3.1 BB 12/02/20. From a can poured a clouded orange-amber with 2cm of light tan open foam that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation moderate, average and fine to medium. Aroma subtly of citrus (mostly orange) with hints of tropical fruits. Taste of citrus (mostly orange zest) which gives a slight tartness; low bitterness. Medium body. Crisp, clean and slightly dry.
4.0 A beer that I have purchased in one coop, at Bern, if I am not wrong. Drinking and enjoying this Belgian version, at Bonfol with Vincent, during june 2018. An average ipa, correct and perfect for the time. You get a beautiful yellow/orange body, troubled, average carbonation, white foam. The notes of aromad are on the tropical way, papaya, mango, generously hoppy, bitter, dry malt.
4.0 18-11-2019; bottle; at home (bought at Plus supermarket, The Netherlands). The looks of the beer are good. It is what you'd expect from an IPA. The beer has a nice slightly pale golden amber colour. It has a nice haziness. On top there is a very nice creamy smooth layer of slightly off-white foam. Foam retention is quite good. Some slight lacing is left on the glass. The aroma of the beer is very nice. The malts give a nice creamy note, also a bit bready. The hops give some nice zesty aromas, together with some tropical fruit and a piney touch. The added fruits give a rich bouquet of fruity aromas. The passionfruit and mango are quite present, the apricot gives a nice mellow layer to that. The guave and papaya are a bit more on the background, but are still there. It is not over the top fruity, which is nice. I like it. The taste of the beer is also nice. Sweet malts, quite some sweet fruits, bitter hops and also some sour fruits. The result is a well balanced flavour-profile. Nothing wrong with it, although for some people it can be a bit on the sour side maybe. The palate of the beer is nice too. Medium body, slightly sticky texture and medium carbonation. The fruits give also a certain tingling sensation. The finish is nice. It is quite bitter; there are many bitter hops in there and quite some zesty notes. But also the fruits are nicely present in the finish. All in all, quite a nice beer.
4.3 Nice and balanced with a front-loading of hoppiness that lingers. Good level of effervescence that sits nicely on the palate and is not excessive. Less fruity than the description suggests compared to the tropical flavours of some other IPAs.
3.3 Bottle @ Håndverkeren. Hazy golden body with a big white head. Aroma has lots of tropical fruit, very juicy like peach, mango, passionfruit and oranges. Flavor goes in the same direction, a bit less dominant than expected from aroma, but too sweet and with the lack of bitterness to feel refreshing. Fine body and same aftertaste. Probably better if served ice cold a warm summer day.
